We've taken our JSON-configurable TensorFlow machine learning project and added a little more. First up, we've trained a new model for the words 'cat' and 'dog'. Next we've updated the Arduino code to display a different bitmap depending on what word was detected. learn guide - https://learn.adafruit.com/neotrellis-soundboard/ This is a sound board using Adafruit’s NeoTrellis. This lets you trigger audio files so you can play it like a musical instrument. Each button can have different sounds so you can build your own sample kit. All of the electronics are housed in our 3D printed enclosure. The top and bottom covers snap fit so it’s easy to put together. It’s designed to be portable, compact device and it’s open source. In previous build we used several boards to make a similar project. For this one we can use Adafruit’s Feather and the Prop Maker Feather Wing. Check out the learn guide for documentation. You can follow along step by step to wire the electronics and build the assembly. We setup the REPL to print the file names and neopixel colors. This way we can verify the button mapping or catch any errors. The Feather shows up as a USB drive so you can edit the code directly on the device. All of the files live on the drive so it’s easy to change code on any computer. You Can Shake the device to shuffle the audio. Pressing the button on the side will reset the arrangement. We think it’s a fun demo of what you can with the accelerometer. Tiny Machine Learning on the Edge with TensorFlow Lite Running on SAMD51, we have trained a new model that listens for "up" or "down". You’ve heard of machine learning (ML), but what is it? And do you have to buy specialty hardware to experiment? Nope! If you have some Adafruit hardware, you can build some Tiny ML projects today! We’ve wrappered the TensorFlow Lite micro speech demo to Arduino so you can do basic speech recognition on our SAMD51 boards. In this demo we’ll hook up a microphone to our PyGamer to detect “up” or “down” speech and display some mini videos to play if your voice was detected by TensorFlow Lite, move a bubble wand up or down, controlling a servo, and DC motor, all on a Cortex M4 processor, all battery powered!
