So we finally made to our 100th episode and with that, we decided to talk about our favorite mutants, the X-men. From the 90's cartoon right down to the comics themselves with a little bit of the movie stuff sprinkled in.

So with the surprise and huge success of Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel seeks to expand on other characters in the MCU. So far we got Antman, Dr. Strange, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and the Inhumans. Many People aren't familiar with these characters so we took upon ourselves to talk about these characters and give some insight while also giving some recommendations for further reading.

So the inevitable happened...Hollywood rebooted the TMNT franchise. What we end up getting is a Turtles reboot that isn't that bad when you consider the countless amounts of changes the property has had over the years and also that its a kids movie.

Well Marvel took a big gamble with this property and they knocked it out of the park. Fun characters, simple plot, and great visuals really set the tone for how Marvel is doing the cosmic universe.

Joined up with Average Joe Art and BlackChivalrousNerd, we break down some of the happenings at this years San Diego Comic Con.

So here we are with the fourth entry into the Michael Bay Transformer movies. Joined by Joey Romero and Prime Gundam, we chat about the movie. Is it an improvement over the previous movies or is it more of the same? Tune in and find out.

Shinichiro Watanabe knocks it out the park yet again with an anime thats near and dear to the greater anime community. A show that mixes rap and feudal japan shenanigans together to give a very good and fun story.

So awhile back during our time on podomatic, we recorded an episode on New Jack City. Not too many people at the time listened to it so it sat on the backburner. Well now fresh out the archives, we bring you a movie that is near and dear to our hearts.

The Xmen movies have definitely been a prominent fixture for awhile now. Will the newest movie put the franchise back on track or will it fall flat on its face? Check it out to find out.

Master P had an empire in No Limit records and love them or hate them, they cranked out some classics. So obviously doing movies with artists from the label is the next logical step. Hot Boyz is one of the movies that has a decent budget to it especially when you get actors like Gary Busey and C. Thomas Howell. Does that make it a good movie though? Gonna have to give this episode a listen and find out.

This is the series that EVERYBODY grew up on and is the definitive Batman properties you must watch. It appealed to everyone young and old; all the credit goes to Bruce Timm, Dini, and Co. for crafting this awesome Batman universe.

We finally made it to the end of DBZ. It was a long road but the show ended on a decent note. Lots of crazy fights still left and a finale where we get a hard fought fight between Goku and Kid Buu.

Well, we made it to the finale of DBZ. This was a saga is still to this day very divisive to the DBZ fandom. Some like it and others hate it. We're definitely in the middle of the road with it.

Love this movie to death. If you never thought Michael Keaton could be funny, well this movie proves you wrong. Top to bottom, beginning to end, a solid movie and worth watching.

We love both of these movies equally and Raul Julia is the glue that holds both of the these movie together but the rest of the cast do a damn good job as well. The humor still holds to this day.

Paul WS Anderson has a way of giving people fan service and at the same time shitting all over the fans. Nothing encompasses that more than the Resident Evil Film series. 3 out of 5 of these movie do a servicable job with the property and the other 2 is whats wrong when you try to stick to the stuff that worked in the video games and also when you diverge waaay off from the source material. Very polarizing stuff.

Beloved anime and one of the first anime that probably got people interested in the Gundam series overall, thanks to Toonami, Gundam Wing blew up into one of the best mecha anime to watch.

The film that brought together legendary comedians from old to new but also at the same time was bashed by film critics. Kinda baffling when you think about it.

Quite possibly the most beloved movie franchise(Well at least the 1st two movies and TMNT somewhat), we dive into this franchise and dish out our thoughts with special guest, Average Joe Art.

What is there to say about the greatest musician in existance? Michael Jackson has a career that many artists dream of having. A catalogue of hit records, hit singles, and just flat out godlike live performances. We honor MJ by talking about his illustrious career from beginning to end.

A classic 3BG episode, before we named him Action Trump! A competent plot, crazy Gary Busey, and even Tommy Lee Jones as a bad guy. Who knew you could get all this in one movie. Craziness.

Out of all the anime that is beloved by the community, this anime gets a lot of love and for the right reasons. Solid story, characters you care about, and awesome music. Its no wonder that it still holds up to this day.

Lets be real, many people could give two craps about the Call of Duty Modern Warfare series in terms of its story because honestly people have the game for the multiplayer BUT the storyline for this series ain't that bad and it definitely has tons of tropes taken from Hollywood action movies that are rememberable.

Wherein we cover the second half of the Cell Saga. Betrayals, Epic fights, shenangans from side characters. All the tropes that DBZ is known for.

Quite possibly one of the most beloved sagas and pretty much where DBZ should have ended, we dive into the first half of the Cell series with the Android Saga.

Compared to the Alien series, the Predator franchise has the fortunate circumstance of actually being a solid trilogy of films despite whatever misgivings people have with Predator 2. We get down to the nitty gritty on all 3 movies.

The Nolan Batman trilogy is held up as one of the best movie trilogy's. But is it? We do a breakdown of each movie in our own funny way to answer that.

The Metal Gear Solid is a staple in video game history. So the 3 black guys crack this egg and get all up in it!

The Bad Boys series is an example of just how far Michael Bay has come as a director. Bad Boys 1 was a very safe action movie that did well and got Bay's foot in the door while Bad Boys 2 personified the Michael Bay tropes we've seen in his recent movies like the Transformers trilogy. Love him or hate it, the man can do action and the Bad Boys movies have them in spades.

They honestly don't make movies like this anymore. A very well-made and funny Keenan Ivory Wayans gem with a semi-memorable cast of characters.

We round out Eddie Murphy month with a classic movie that is funny from beginning to end. When you talk about definitive Eddie Murphy movies, this was the one movie that told you everything you needed to know about how funny he truly is. One of the best comedies that still holds up to this day. Our boys from VillainsVNS join us on this show.

You know back in the early '90s, black people really got the crap end of the stick on superhero movies and as much as the geeks love Robert Townsend, this movie makes you facepalm from beginning to end. It's Meteor Man people. Enjoy!!!

Because we love Dragon Ball soooooo much we're back with the Frieza Saga. The saga that defined Dragon Ball Z. All the good and very bad of this anime formed from this saga. So let's get to it!

The movie that made the black horror genre suck a little less. A movie that is a little cheesy and preachy. But it has left an impact on black audiences. It would be the most popular black horror movie until the release of "Get Out". Also, it's just Dee and Cj on this one.

This movie should've been like Class Act...funny and enjoyable but it wasn't. Instead we got a mediocre movie where the supporting cast(mainly Bernie Mac) end up carrying the movie. Nonetheless, despite the mediocrity, there are some funny moments.

Class Act stands out amongst all of the Kid N Play projects.

The first movie had a solid plot that took its time. The second you could tell it was a movie that was reworked. But it's still a classic.

It's Kid N Play month and whats a better way to kick it off than to talk about a solid and classic movie.

The podcast the help build the name 3BG. Our love of Dragonball is on full display in this podcast. We talk about the Saiyan Saga, the different dubs, the censoring, and more.

A podcast that was so near and dear to our hearts we had to keep this classic. A movie that many forget about. Trespass is one of those movies where everything can go right and wrong at the same time. What makes this better, Dee has never seen this movie while DjTsu and Cj know the movie like the back of their hands. So not only is Ice T and Ice Cube in this movie. The fucking Grim Reaper from Bill and Ted is in this movie. And to make it better, the director of "Back To The Future" "Forest Gump" "Cast Away" and "Who's Framing Roger Rabbit" wrote this movie! We would do a newer review of this movie years later with Rap Critic.

The 3rd episode of 3BG was just Cj and Dee talking about the anime classic Golgo 13. Duke Togo, the God among men. Broken beyond Broken!

When you think of Christmas movies most people like to say, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"; "A Christmas Story"; "It's A Wonderful Life"; or "Miracle On 34th Street"...we said go SCREW!!! Flipping Die Hard is the greatest Christmas movie that has very little to do with Christmas. In fact outside of the tree in the Nakatomi tower, there is jack to do with Christmas in this movie. But this podcast is to praise Bruce Willis' best movie and the best action movie of the 80's.

The second episode of 3BG was a big one. The boys go through all the Rocky series. Yes, all of them before Creed. The first was a classic, the second was cool, the 3rd one was dope, the 4th was insane, the 5th was ugh and Balboa was cool.
