Quite possibly the best Batman movie from an animated standpoint. Under the Red Hood managed to take a convoluted character with a convoluted background like Red Hood and completely rejuvinate it. Its a simple movie that really hits home on the action and story.

The late 90's going into early 2000's was a transitional period for comic book movies. Batman and Robin killed the genre but yet we were still getting these movies. In comes Mystery Men which didn't market itself as a comic book movie and despite what it was trying to do, it bombed in theaters yet it developed a cult following. Its a quirky movie to be sure and it has its funny moments.

The 90's was a very weird time for Marvel comic tv/movie properties. While DC was busy cleaning house with the Batman flicks, Marvel had some live action stuff that frankly wasn't good. Right around the time they were about to go bankrupt, they sold there characters rights to different studios from Sony to Fox. Generation X and Nick Fury tv movies came from the minds at Fox and the quality was very bad. Between Generation X being a just horrible movie to Nick Fury being just 'meh', things didn't always start off good with these comic book properties.

DjTsu and Dee take you beautiful people down a dark road that many anime fan are acutely aware of. The world Bible Black! They also talk SkinaMax; sexual culture of Japan and America; a bit of hentai history; and other tid-bits. It's very informative and VERY Rated X so...fair warning.

So the first experiment in Marvel doing a full blown Netflix series on superheroes kicks off with a hero that had a bit of a shaky past in media. Ben Affleck donned the mask and pulled off a decent movie which had a better version on home video. So here we are with Charlie Cox pulling off the role of Matt Murdoch/Daredevil and he does a damn good job along with the supporting cast of Vincent D'Nofrio, Rosario Dawson, Vonde Curtis Hall, and Elden Henson.

Wherein we talk about the legend that is Dusty Rhodes, Money in the Bank/Raw aftermath, the awesomeness that is NOAH/NJPW, and WTF is up with TNA.

Wherein we put the nail in the coffin and talk about the Schumacher era flicks of Batman Forever and Batman & Robin.

Wherein we talk about the first two Tim Burton Bat flicks, Batman and Batman Return.

DjTsu and Dee dive into their first some with video games. They talk about Konami and others failing us. Also they talk about fighting games and some I'm sure you never heard of.

We end the month on a movie that started Chan's rise to prominence in America. Rumble in the Bronx is the movie that showed the audience how awesome Chan was. Lots of crazy stunts and fights. On top of that you got some sketchy dubbing and an out there story thats forgettable.

Yet again Jackie Chan finds himself doing a genre that TONS of movies have done before. You might think it's ripping straight from Indiana Jones somewhat but Jackie Chan and co. manage to make it very lighthearted. Sure the stakes are there but the comedic nature of Chan on top of the martial arts action makes it a fun watch.

Wherein we talk about the fallout from the WWE Payback PPV, TNA possibly being gone again, New Japan shenanigans, and how awesome Kevin Owens is.

If Stallone has the Rocky series and Bruce Willis has the Die Hard series then Jackie Chan owns the Police Story series as well. Chan throughout this series plays the ultimate Supercop who defies everything for the sake of getting the job done and catching the bad guy. These first two movies show it firsthand. Lots of crazy stunts and awesome action all around.

What can we say about Jackie Chan that hasn't already been said. The man has a stellar career and can put on a good show and this movie shows it in spades. Chan is at his best when he's bouncing off other actors and pairing him with Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao is just genius.

And then came a day where we as the movie going audience was graced with another Avengers movie and this time it was awesome. Great performances from Spader as Ultron even to the main cast. Non-stop action and a story that sets the stage for Phase 3 of the MCU.

One of the most underrated movies in Arnold's career. Its very surprising how good this movie turns out. Great acting from everyone from Vanessa Williams to James Caan. Yeah it gets hokey at points but its one of those times you just shrug and let it go.

Extreme Rules is upon us and what we have is a PPV peppered with gimmick matches good and bad. We also chat about recent NJPW events happening and TNA shenanigans yet again.

If you thought Avengers Disassembled had some mind fuckery well get ready for the mother of all mind fuckery. A continuation of Disassembled, House of M was a story that had long term ramifications for the Marvel Universe specifically with the mutants.

Its amazing to see a series go from 0 to 100 real quick(LOL see what we did there) and the Crank series managed to do it. While the first movie was very subtle despite the craziness, the second movie was just self aware of its stupidity and ran with it. Shenanigans abouds from these movies.

We all love JCVD but when he has a legit bad movie, we all weep in sadness. It doesn't help that the plot of this movie doesn't make a lick of sense and we honestly don't give two craps about the characters. Also we got Uncle Paulie and Rob Schneider along for the ride. Swell!!!

Lord have mercy. Every year the WWE does there best to put on a great PPV with Wrestlemania but its rare to see a show pumping on all cylinders from beginning to end. Everything that you wanted to happen actually happened. Good matches all around and lots of surprises along the way. Definitely a great time to be a wrestling fan.

In the world of anime especially with tv shows, you hope that your show catches on with the masses so that it will continue. Well in the case of Tenjou Tenge it was a situation where nobody gave a crap about the show despite the manga being good. Full of characters that range from giving a crap about to just not caring which is a shame cause the show had sooo much potential of being good.

With Wrestlemania 31 ramping up, CJ and Dee take a look at the matches. Also we chat a little about New Japan Wrestling and TNA shenanigans. Also BULLET CLUB!!!!

Mario and Sonic stand as iconic figures in video game history and its very rare to ever reach that status. One game series managed to leave its mark and give us a characters that indeed reached it and his name is Kratos. Throughout 3 games and some side story games, we've followed this character going through many hardships and its a helluva ride. The road is paved wth blood when it comes to this character.

The movie that began Seagal not giving a shit. Ultimately we have a movie that's just average in action and underutilized the shit out of Michael Jai White. It's a decent entertaining movie but wow oh wow is it bad.

Another WWE PPV in the bag that is more or less a placeholder to hype up Wrestlemania. We break down the show along with New Japan Wrestling, some NXT talk, and random Wrestling odds and ends.

Michael Jai White is one of those action stars who doesn't get enough credit for how solid he is. He has the presence and charisma that makes you like him. Blood and Bone is a prime example of him showing this. It's a simple movie with a plot that for the most part works. Great cast and great fighting choreography AND we got Rufio in this movie cause fuck it we love Dante Basco.

EA struck gold twice with a simple concept: Having rappers from the Def Jam label fight each other using a fighting engine seen in the Nintendo 64 AKI wrestling games. The Vendetta series peaked at Fight for NY and EA pretty much killed the series with Icon. Damn shame at the end of the day.

Black westerns are few and far between to get shown but when it does happen, you got some good ones that come down the pipeline. This movie is one of them. Directed by the great Mario Van Peebles who also did New Jack City, Posse is one of those movies that had a solid story backed up by an all-star cast of actors old and new.

So it FINALLY happened...Sony broke bread with Disney/Marvel and managed to make a deal that gets Spiderman in the MCU. We tackle this news and also throw our own spin on how things will go down.

Quite possibly a good starting point for anyone getting into Marvel comics, this storyline was pretty much the end of an era when it came to the 80's and 90's era of Avengers. Full of mindfuckery of a storyline, this event comic plays like an old-school action flick. Quick plot progression and tons of action.

Quite possibly the most simple plotline in movies that you can get and it makes sense cause its a blaxsploitation movie. But beyond that though, this movie is bad but in a good way. You enjoy the shenanigans that Jim Kelly, Jim Brown, and Fred Williamson get away with in this movie all for the sake of taking down the white man.

Another year, another Royal Rumble. For the second year in a row we got a controversial PPV from WWE and its a doozy.

Damon Wayans had a run, and it was called the 90's. From being a straight man in comedies, to silliness one in the movie, to being in action roles. Mo' Money, combines the 3 and starred Damon in the lead role. This gives us an action comedy we...kind of remember. 9

This is a bad movie in every way. Full of predictable movie tropes, no likeable characters, and invoking everything that is the 90's from the women to the cameo from Coolio. Yeah we break down this movie so you the viewer don't have to watch it.

Lets be honest with ourselves, Hollywood never had a good track record when it came to properties like video games so at no point did any rational minded person think they'd get anime right(Least till Speed Racer). Welp, Hollywood tried to prove us wrong and failed HARD with this movie.

What happens when a company gets hacked and countless amounts of shenanigans gets exposed? Well sit tight and listen up as we break down the Sony Pictures hacking news.

What happens when you mix hot chicks, gorgeous scenery, gunplay action, and a convoluted and stupid story? You get this movie. Zach Snyder's strong suit was never story but he can definitely give you something nice to look at with his movies and this one definitely gives you that in spades.

Video games have a way of bringing people together to have fun and if there's one genre that does it best, its the fighting games. Street Fighter is THE franchise that to this day, people recognize and know front to back. Its a franchise that has went through lots of changes whether it be the system mechanics or even the various crossovers with other companies. Either which way, its the series that DEMANDS the attention and earns it rightfully.

Probably one of the better and beloved trilogy of movies, the Back To The Future series is funny and entertaining. Beneath all of it is a movie that actually does a pretty good job of explaining time travel in a way that makes sense and isn't convoluted. Tough thing to do but it succeeds.

If there was ever a franchise that has stayed iconic over the years, its this one. A simple concept of 4 guys catching ghosts spawned 2 movies, 2 cartoon series, multiple video games, and a possible reboot. Oh and it also helps they have a kick ass theme song.

We have entered an age of awesome superhero movie content. DC/WB announced the jumpstart of there universe and Marvel came back announced there slate of movies for Phase 3. Either which way, we the fans are winning big time with this.

Do you love the Avengers? The Spiderman franchise? X-men even? Well they owe there existence to an obscure Marvel character that was given a shot at a movie and his name was Blade. A franchise that kickstarted comic book movies being taken seriously for a change.

Unlike the movies and despite some plot holes, the Resident Evil game series has been very enjoyable since the beginning. Good or bad, even the plot despite its cheesiness was still a guilty pleasure. So come along with us as we chat about the games from RE 1 to RE 6.
