S1 Ep 4Making Tough Decisions in Life
This episode is all about making a difficult choice in life. Or to rephrase it, how to choose between the decisions you want to make and the decisions you are told to make? I will walk you through two mental models that have helped me hugely, and I’m sure they’ll help you see a lot more clearly. We will also walk through a visualization method where I will not ask you to visualize what you want. Rather I will ask you to do the opposite. When we visualize the exact opposite of what we want, we release a lot of fear that is actually stopping us from action. Hope these mental models help you decide in a way that is right for you. They’ll serve as a template for you to apply in every fork you encounter; instead of me rendering you a one-size fits all statement of advice. If there’s any question about this episode or regarding making a difficult choice in life, let me know in the comments section. Will do my best to help you out.

I continued to pursue my education despite the fact that it didn’t make me happy. Read books to look cool, without doing what books are meant to do: challenge and provoke our thoughts and beliefs. I took no care of my health and tried to please people – all the while not taking care of my mind and body.
