In 1912, Wilfred Voynich purchased a mysterious manuscript filled with elegant looping handwriting interspersed with drawings of plants, the cosmos, and naked women. Here’s the thing- it’s 600 years old, we don’t know who wrote it or why, and despite years and years of attempts, no one has ever been able to decipher it.
