In 2018, the remains of Maribel Torres were discovered in a canal in Miami, and her husband Jimmy was charged with her murder. He is currently awaiting trial, and the allegations presented against him in this episode stem from statements made by the victim’s sister as well as a witness who led police to Maribel’s body.
