Ep 433433: Gender Dysphoria

What is causing gender confusion? Can anything be done to prevent it? Sally Fallon Morell, President of the Weston A. Price Foundation, covers today how to promote healthy hormonal function, covering material found in the Wise Traditions journal from the winter of 2022. Sally reviews the fact that nutrition is foundational for optimal hormonal function. She advises that we eat a diet replete with the right fats, whole raw milk, and include plenty of red meat and eggs from pastured animals. She discusses the hormone disruptors found in our food and environment: including seed oils and plastic. She also talks about the problems with sex change operations and puberty-blocking drugs. Ep 432432: Bucking The Mainstream System

Do you ever question the mainstream narrative about health, food, and the government? When you do, what do you do? Do you go with your gut or with the public agenda? What if you disagree with where it's taking you? How do you resist? The late Ronnie Cummins explains how to buck the system on multiple levels. Ronnie is the founder and former director of the Organic Consumers Association (OCA), a long-time activist, protestor, and author. Ronnie passed away in April of 2023, but in May 2022, he shared his take on the state of world affairs, the importance of local, organic food, and how to live healthily in this contaminated world. Ronnie wasn’t just referring to toxins in our physical environment, but also in overreaching government, pharmaceutical companies, and leaders who collaborate to further their own interests in place of the interests of humanity. Ronnie offers insights today on how to buck the system and escape the mainstream ideological paradigm. Visit the Organic Consumers Association Spread the word! Share our Wise Traditions podcast link. Ep 431431: Still Sick? The Sun Can Help

Brain fog. Low energy. Digestive issues. Anxiety. All of the above could simply be symptoms of a lack of natural sunlight. Carrie Bennett of the Quantum Body Collective today covers the many benefits of sunlight: how it can help heal the gut, sync our circadian rhythm, and set off a cascade of proper hormonal function for improved health and mood. Carrie gets specific about the hormones that get “turned on” by the sunlight and their effect on the mood and body. She also explains how those who are fair-skinned or sun-shy can approach getting more sunshine, and she even has advice for those whose eyes are sensitive to its light and feel like they need to wear sunglasses all the time. Ep 430430: Why "Regenerative Agriculture" Is Not Enough

Regenerative agriculture has been hailed as the solution for restoring the health of the soil...and the entire planet. But this label--"regenerative agriculture"--is limited in its scope. A new paradigm may be needed for true healing to occur. Daniel Griffith, author, co-manager of Timshel Wildland and President of the Robinia Institute, today calls us to consider a shift in how we perceive our relationship to the land and to ourselves. He reminds us that we ARE the earth and the soil, in many respects, and that we need to heal in ways we may not have previously understood. Returning to our roots may lead us down a new path, that has no label. He reframes the conversation about farming and healing in today's discussion. Daniel also shares insights about his own health story and how he went from physically broken to restoring his natural balance and renewing his health. Ep 429429: Myth-Busting Modern Biology

Question everything. This is the challenge of Dr. Tom Cowan, author, podcaster, and proponent of the "new biology." Tom suggests that our current understanding of modern biology is based on a number of assumptions that we need to reexamine. Today, Tom busts myths (and perceptions) related to the covid virus (and viruses, in general), spike proteins, and the idea that humans can be genetically modified. He calls into question the notion that cell membranes have receptors, the concept of the human "virome," the idea of specific antibodies, and even our understanding of the body’s immune system! Tom points out fallacious thinking in scientific circles. And he makes a strong case for a need to re-think viruses, contagion, and many other aspects of modern biology. Ep 428428: Toxic Superfoods: Identify And Avoid Oxalates

So many innocent-looking "healthy" foods (even so-called "superfoods") could be actually compromising your health! Carrots, beets, spinach, and cashews, for example. These plant foods, and others, contain oxalates that trigger inflammation, steal minerals, destroy connective tissue and lead to a host of problems like kidney stones, arthritis, joint pain, osteoporosis, and oxidative stress in the body. Sally Norton, the author of Toxic Superfoods: How Oxalate Overload Is Making You Sick--and How to Get Better today reviews which foods to avoid (including potatoes, figs, nuts, some berries, and, yes, even chocolate) and what to do if you have symptoms of oxalate overload. Ep 427427: Address Adrenal Fatigue

Many of us walk around feeling drained, tired and depleted. What would it look like if we had the energy we longed for? No more afternoon crashes? No more brain fog? Kristen Files is a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Master Restorative Wellness Practitioner and the head of Forest Creek Wellness. Today, she talks today about adrenal fatigue, what leads to it, and how to address it. She covers identifying the symptoms, which can present as an inability to "turn off" at the end of the day, a lack of motivation, or procrastination. She also tells her story of how she was "born tired" and what shifts she noticed as she addressed the root causes of adrenal fatigue. Finally, she offers ideas for how to help heal and regulate your physiology. Visit Kristen's website: forestcreekwellness.com Become a member of the Weston A. Ep 426426: Defending Bodily Autonomy

It is unethical, immoral, and inappropriate for an individual, business, institution, organization, or government to force a person to put something into their body, or on their body, against their will. The Health Freedom Defense Fund, led by Leslie Manookian, is defending our right to bodily autonomy in the United States. They have won significant cases against the executive branch in the U.S. and currently have cases against Nike, Disney, and LAUSD. Their objective? To protect the constitutional rights of those who have simply been denied their rights to bodily autonomy. Some were denied religious exemptions from vaccinations; others were harassed for refusing to comply with mandates. Still, others were obligated to wear masks by the CDC (that only has the power to recommend courses of action, not to mandate them). Today, Leslie describes how her group seeks justice and defends our rights. She shares the hurdles they face and what successes they’ve had. She also touches on what she foresees down the line in terms of mandates and potential victories over them. Visit Leslie's website: Healthfreedomdefense.org Become a member of the Weston A. Ep 425425: How Vegetable Oils Destroy Our Health

Vegetable oils (A.K.A seed oils) are pro-oxidative, pro-inflammatory, toxic, and nutrient-deficient. And they are virtually everywhere--used for cooking meals in restaurants, in our processed foods, condiments, and more. These oils create mitochondrial dysfunction that inevitably leads to different health conditions, including obesity, coronary heart disease, cancers, type 2 diabetes, dementia, Alzheimer's, age-related macular degeneration, autoimmune conditions, and more. Dr. Chris Knobbe, author of "The Ancestral Diet Revolution," sounds the alarm that seed oils are the primary driver of these health issues. He points to countless studies and data that make this case. And he also offers solutions, pointing out what foods to avoid (like pork and chicken from Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations, for example, and certain nuts and seeds) and other strategies to help reduce omega-6 fatty acids in the body and restore our health. Ep 424424: Biohacking The Ancestral Way

Biohacking is trending: it's the art and science of optimizing the environment inside and outside of you to take control of your biology. This sometimes means using modern tools (or hacks). But this doesn't mean buying the latest and greatest gadgets, necessarily. Tim Gray is one of the most prominent biohackers of our time and the founder of the Health Optimisation Summit in the U.K. Today, he explains why the simplest "biohacking," like a nutrient-dense diet, plenty of sunshine, and sufficient sleep--offer the best foundation for our health. He also shares the serious health crisis that precipitated him to take his health into his own hands. He gets specific about detoxing protocols he used, enumerating those that provided the greatest benefit. Finally, he reminds us why we would do well to remain open-minded about new approaches to healing. Ep 423423: The Scoop On The COVID19 Shot

Even though the covid "health emergency" has officially ended, lots of questions remain. The COVID19 shot is still being recommended by the CDC for inclusion on the childhood vaccination schedule. Boosters are continually encouraged. And one-third of private businesses still have COVID19 shot-related mandates in place. Dr. Larry Palevsky, a holistic pediatrician, has been questioning all of the above (and the shots themselves) since the beginning. He has witnessed the deleterious effects of the COVID19 injection, as have countless healthcare workers. Larry, today, tells us what is shifting, in terms of healthcare practitioners' view of the injections and the health care system, itself. He also shares protocols for detoxing from the shot, and how to build a strong health foundation, come what may. Ep 422422: Homesteading: This vs. That

In our modern lives, we look for things to make our lives easier and more convenient. So why would we choose to do anything that requires more energy and effort?! DIY projects around the house, cooking meals from scratch, and even growing produce or raising livestock all require a lot of elbow grease. Jill Winger, podcaster, author, and host of the Old Fashioned on Purpose podcast, helps us explore a more conscious approach to living simply. She discusses the benefits of rolling up our sleeves and working with our hands: slowing down, a deeper connection with our food, improved health, and mindfulness! Ep 421421: Pfizer Documents Exposé

In March 2022, the court ordered the release of Pfizer documents, but they were lengthy and overwhelming--very challenging for the average person to go through, let alone understand. Daily Clout, a successful civic tech company, gathered over 3000 scientists and doctors to comb through them and analyze them, and what they found is truly astounding. Naomi Wolf is the CEO and co-founder of the Daily Clout, and today she goes over what the analysis of the documents revealed: the Pfizer mRNA injection causes a host of side effects, including death, stroke, infertility, neurological symptoms, covid itself, and clotting. The shots negatively impact human reproduction. They shed and transmit spike proteins through inhalation, skin contact, and sweat from the vaccinated to anyone. Worst of all, evidence indicates that Pfizer did not just turn a blind eye to these results, as if they were unintended consequences. According to the experts who analyzed the documents, Pfizer expected these results and intentionally sought to harm the world's populace. Visit Naomi Wolf's Daily Clout. What are the enemies of weight loss? Dr. Guillermo Navarrete, known as Nutrillermo, today identifies what they are and how to fight them for better health. He addresses sugar addiction and how to overcome it. Dr. Navarrete exposes the cozy relationship between BIG AG, BIG FOOD, and BIG PHARMA and how that is influencing our food choices. And he reveals the parallels between a mother's breast milk and what nourishes us, as adults, best. He also shares his own personal issues with weight gain (and loss) and what he's doing today to keep the numbers down and his health up (hint: it has to do with eating nutrient-dense animal products). Ep 419419: True Midwifery

What is the history of midwifery? Why has this profession been villainized in the past and how is it seen today? Is it legal in all states? What is transcendent about birth...and death? And how does it help to have someone present to assist? Lindsey Meehleis addresses all of the above. Lindsey is a board-certified midwife who was recently featured in the Heart & Soil movie "Nourished." She addresses the controversy of the way the movie starts: with two contrasting placentas. One from a mother who was well nourished, and another who was not. She also describes her commitment to making sure the baby's arrival is as safe and smooth, as possible. And why she believes we need to return to the model of womb-to-tomb care for tending to the sick and those who are arriving and departing from this planet. Ep 418418: Is Small Farming Sustainable?

In 2022, Vermont had 130 organic farms. Just one year later, there are only 60, with another 30 expected to go out of business in the next 12 months. How can we turn things around? And is small farming actually sustainable? Cynthia and Rich Larson of Larson Farm in Vermont are grass dairy farmers that are working on the sustainability of their own farm and of those around them, too. They know that sustainability has to do with more than just what works for the land. It must also be valuable for the community and economically sustainable for the farmer. This is one reason they have joined hands with a local Land Care Community of 17 grass-based dairies in Vermont. They are a group that wants to leave the land in better shape than when they found it. They are working to improve the ecosystem, protect the watershed, reduce pollution and regenerate the soil. They use modern equipment and strategies for facing farming challenges. Rich and Cynthia today tell their story about that partnership, how and why they transitioned from commercial farming to organic, and why they invite others to get into farming, too. Ep 417417: Where Physical, Emotional, And Mental Health Meet

Depression. Arrhythmia. Stress. Emotional burdens. How can we address our complex health conditions? And how is the physical related to the mental and emotional components of wellbeing? And is it best to address issues with conventional or unconventional protocols? Anette Ruiz is a holistic health coach and communications specialist. Alberto is a certified permaculturist and talk show host. Today, they tell their story of facing seemingly insurmountable health crises. Anette had moderate-to-severe depression; Alberto, a heart condition. Their island got hit by Hurricane Maria, and their stress levels went through the roof. They discuss today how they faced these experiences and what they learned through them--particularly how they have incorporated tools for holistic living that address the physical, mental, and emotional health of the body. Among other topics, they cover how to recognize the symptoms of depression, the power of gratitude, and why they will not use a microwave oven. P.S. Ep 414414: More Dangerous Than A Snakebite

What could possibly be more dangerous to your health and life than a rattlesnake bite? Vaccinations. Our guest, Curtis Cost, the author of "Vaccines are Dangerous," explains why shots have more serious consequences than many may have initially realized. Curtis describes problems, beyond "side effects," that can arise not only from the covid-19 shot, but from all shots. Conditions like autoimmune dysfunction, asthma, allergies, and other debilitating issues that result from injections are often not perceived as triggered by vaccines. Curtis connects the dots. Ep 412412: Viruses Broken Down

For most of our lives, we’ve been taught that viruses make us sick. But there is important evidence that has been overlooked by both virologists and the public. Ep 410410: Eat Like Your Health Depends On It

What would it look like to eat as if our health depended on it? What would we need to change? Steve Campbell, a cattle consultant running Tailor Made Cattle, had an accident that turned his whole world upside down. He realized that to heal properly, he needed to change his diet, and this led him to look at the provenance of his food and the health of the soil. What he has learned along the way is that what works for farmers and cattle ranchers works for human beings too: the power of epigenetics (lifestyle and dietary changes to support health), how to live "organic by design" (as opposed to by default), and how to foster an environment (on the land and in the body) that supports diversity, good health, and life. They explain how, at one time in the United States, half of the medical schools, colleges, and hospitals relied on homeopathic remedies for restoring health. Ep 406406: Avoid Seed Oils

The bottles of yellow oil on the supermarket shelves are labeled heart-healthy but they are in actuality damaging for our health (and the heart). These seed oils are unstable fats extruded from seeds that are not meant for human consumption. They are deodorized and colorized to make them look and taste appealing, but they are rancid and difficult to digest. They can (and do) lead to a host of health conditions from obesity, to cancer, to diabetes, to premature aging. Sally Fallon Morell, president of the Weston A. Ep 404404: Protect Our Farms...And Our Food

Meat and poultry shortages. Skyrocketing prices on eggs. Scarcity of dairy products on supermarket shelves. The last few years (and months) have revealed how fragile the food infrastructure is in the United States. What options do we have to help us secure good food, from reliable sources? Judith McGeary, the founder of the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance, offers insights on our options. Today she sheds light on how to protect the small farmer for the benefit of our communities, and our health. She covers the importance of purchasing from local farmers with regenerative farming practices. She discusses how governmental regulations favor industrial large-scale farming and how we can contact policymakers to make farming more accessible and less expensive for the small farmer. Ep 402402: Dealing With Emotional Baggage (Part 2)

Our subconscious mind knows exactly what is wrong with us and what we really need to thrive. And connecting with it has the potential to help us release emotional baggage and enjoy new levels of health. Dr. Bradley Nelson, author of “The Emotion Code” and “The Body Code,” today expands on the ideas we discussed in last week’s podcast episode (part 1). He tells stories of patients with undiagnosed or unsolvable health concerns that he was able to identify and help resolve by using his method of tapping into the subconscious mind. Ep 400400: Lessons From The Traditional Mongolian Diet & Lifestyle

What does the Mongolian diet look like? What characterizes their lifestyle, and what changes might their choices make in my life? These are questions addressed by Mary Ruddick, the nutritionist known as the "Sherlock Holmes of Health" on today's episode. She was recently in Mongolia for an extended period. She observed the elements of the traditional Mongolian diet, its extraordinarily high-fat content, its shifts with the seasons, the similarities between the Mongolian and Maasai dietary patterns, and more. She describes her experiences with Eagle Hunters in a remote country region, and why she is convinced the Mongolians were uniquely prepared by their diet and lifestyle to expand their empire. She also offers insights into how their probiotic-rich foods and tight-knit community have served them well over the centuries. And how they can do the same for us wherever we live! Ep 397397: The Problem With Statins

Side effects of statins include brain fog, joint pain, kidney injury, impaired liver function, heart failure, and even dementia. We have been told that statins improve heart health by lowering cholesterol. But it turns out that most of the information we've been given has been based on deceptive statistics. David Diamond, a neuroscientist with a PhD in biology, has done a deep dive on the subject, since he himself was prescribed statins many years ago. He came to realize that there is a false narrative surrounding cholesterol and heart health. And that the data for studies showing the "efficacy of statins" has been manipulated to show favorable outcomes. Today he reviews the data and uncovers the truth about the problem with statins. He also offers a number of ideas for what to do instead of taking these increasingly popular prescription medications. Ep 396396: Butter Is Better

We know that butter tastes better than margarines and vegetable oil spreads, but is it actually better for you and beneficial to your health? Sally Fallon Morell, president of the Weston A. Price Foundation, and author of Nourishing Traditions explains that the answer is definitively "YES!" Today, she goes over the nutrients in butter today - like fat-soluble vitamins A, D and K, important trace minerals, arachidonic acid, cholesterol, and the Wulzen factor - and she explains the benefits that they offer us and our children. She also reviews the problematic ingredients found in butter substitutes that can lead to thyroid issues, arthritis, infertility, skin rashes, and more. In sum, Sally makes a strong case, based on scientific evidence, that is butter is a better choice, in every respect. Ep 395395: Should I Get A Root Canal?

Teeth are living organs. It’s important to proceed with caution before any procedure on them. Today, Dr. Dawn Ewing, the executive director of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine and the author of "Let the Tooth Be Known" goes over what's involved in a root canal. She goes over the reason they are recommended, how the procedure is performed and what its drawbacks are. She explains why conventional dentistry misses the mark when it comes to understanding how the teeth relate to the entire body, through meridians. And she reviews the work Dr. Price himself did on root canals, why his contribution is so valuable to the field and how it is now being recognized in holistic and biological dentistry. Ep 394394: Regenerative Eating

Eating quality pasture-raised meat can help heal the planet and our bodies. This is what it did for Taylor Collins, the co-founder of Force of Nature Meats, and a former vegan. Taylor today debunks myths propagated about the deleterious effects of meat on our health and on the land. He explains that animals are an integral part of the process of regenerative agriculture by sequestering carbon, re-vitalizing soil, and increasing environmental biodiversity. He also explains how eating meat is a regenerative act for the human body, since it abounds in nutrients that build muscles and improve hormonal and cognitive function. Not all meat is equal, he hastens to remind us.. Its provenance affects its quality and its effect on the earth. Go to forceofnature.com for more on their mission and for resources. Ep 393393: Regenerative Agriculture: Digging Deep

What does the health of soil have to do with our health? How do we make choices that help heal the land if we're not farmers? And is "regenerative agriculture" just a trendy term or is there substance and merit to it? Robby Sansom is the co-founder and CEO of Force of Nature. Today he goes over key components of regenerative agriculture and the difference it makes for the health of the planet and those populating it. Robby discusses the five principles of soil health and contrasts them with how the soil is treated in the conventional agricultural model. He shares startling statistics: how 80% of our food has lost its nutritional value and how the United Nations has said there are only 60 years of food production left. He covers the implications of these numbers, and he explains how these make the regenerative agriculture movement more critical than ever. Ep 392392: Ethical Meat

Is it possible to be a “conscious omnivore” that cares about animals and the planet, while still including meat in the diet? Meredith Leigh, author of “The Ethical Meat Handbook," says, "Yes, it is." A former vegetarian (and vegan), Meredith is profoundly concerned with animal welfare, changing the food system, and healing the earth. Today, she goes over how we can be responsible global citizens in all of our choices related to sourcing meat, cooking, and eating it. She talks about how to take small steps in the right direction for ethical meat-eating and how to become advocates for systemic change and improved access to real food. She also discusses how her ideas have shifted over time and how she is convinced we can buy differently, cook differently, and eat differently and therefore bring about change not just for our households, but for the world. Ep 391391: The GAPS Diet: A Powerful Healing Protocol

Our physical and mental health are inextricably tied to our gut health. Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, author of "Gut and Psychology Syndrome" and "Gut and Physiology Syndrome" (GAPS) explains today the importance of healing and sealing the gut for vibrant health. She describes how the GAPS diet can do just that, resolving a compromised digestive system (commonly referred to as "leaky gut"). The porous gut wall unfortunately allows toxins to flow from the gut to the bloodstream and then throughout the body, leading to physical diseases or mental health concerns. Whether the symptoms are related to mental health (like schizophrenia, depression, and ADHD) or physical health (like allergies, brain fog, and autoimmune conditions), they can be resolved by addressing the root problem: poor gut health. The GAPS nutritional protocol is the powerful tool Natasha recommends. She discusses how it works and reminds us that epigenetics (lifestyle changes) play a part in turning things around. She also invites us to keep in mind that a diagnosis of any kind is not our destiny. Ep 390390: Sprouting: The Secret To Digestible Grains

It's time to maximize the nutrition and minimize the anti-nutrients in our beans, grains, seeds, and legumes. We can do this through the ancient process of soaking and sprouting them. Peggy Sutton, the founder and president of To Your Health Sprouted Flour Co., explains how to do this and why. She's bringing the practice back after years of being overlooked. Today, she tells us about how she came across this practice in the first place. She describes how sprouting works to strip away toxins. She discusses how to go about it at home. Ep 389389: Water: Wild, Creative, Fluid Intelligence

Water is an observer. Water is wild. Water is a source. Today we explore water’s creativity and secret intelligence. And the implications of such water flowing through us. Veda Austin is a water researcher, public speaker, artist, and author. Today, she goes over some surprising facts about water that may change how we relate to it. She describes experiments, for example, that point to how water responds to energy, intentions, and its environment. She reminds us of the fact that water courses through us and that we, as human beings, are essentially bodies of water--and how water ties all life together, physically, energetically, and spiritually. Ep 388388: Curious About The Carnivore Diet?

We've been told that eating healthy means eating a lot of vegetables, but what if plants and vegetables have a "dark side"? What might an animal-based diet do for our health and well-being? There’s a lot of buzz about the carnivore diet right now. What does an animal-based diet look like and how can it benefit us? Dr. Paul Saladino, a leading expert on the science and application of the carnivore diet, sheds light on what this kind of diet can do for those on a healing journey. As a conventionally-trained doctor, he was taught very little about nutrition, but he took it upon himself to do a deep dive. What he found changed the course of his practice. Now, he uses the carnivore diet to help patients reverse autoimmune conditions, chronic inflammation, and mental health issues. Today, Paul compares the long-term effects of eating a vegan diet with meat-eaters. (Hint: the latter fare better.) He reviews why animal products are very good for us and why plant foods are less so. He explains why he considers the carnivore diet good for both men and women. And why his own animal-based diet today includes some fruits and even raw milk. As you listen, please keep in mind that the Wise Traditions diet that WAPF recommends is an omnivore diet rich in traditional fat, with moderate amounts of protein and carbohydrates. Rather than eliminating plant foods, we offer methods to make it easier for our bodies to absorb and assimilate them. Nonetheless, we wanted to explore the topic of a carnivore diet in today's episode. Ep 387387: The Pandemic is Over. Now What?

The President of the United States recently declared that the pandemic is over. Now what? Charles Eisenstein offers insights on where we've been and where we are headed. Charles is a bestselling author, public speaker, and social critic. He speaks of the pandemic time as an initiation, or invitation, to investigate new ways of living, both as individuals and as a society. Today, Charles covers several topics, including the broken societal systems that over the past few years valued safety over connection and authority over personal empowerment. He points out how those who dared to challenge the mainstream narrative were ostracized—and how he personally faced such shunning and dealt with it. He points out the futility of the "blame game" many of us are involved in--looking for a scapegoat for our societal woes--and he invites us to take steps to reclaim our sovereignty & humanity. Ep 386386: Slow Fashion

Up to 70% of fabrics used in our clothing today are made from plastic. Slow fashion is a movement like that of "slow food". We seek out good sourcing for what we wear, just as we do with what we eat. Megan Meiklejohn is a sustainability expert in the fashion industry and the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain for Land to Market. Today she helps us look at our clothing through a new lens: what is it made of, where did it come from, and is it good for the land and our bodies? Megan talks about our choices as consumers and how they can help steer the direction of the industry. She weighs in on whether leggings made from water bottles are good or bad, for example, and she tells us which brands are actually working on sustainable sourcing. Ep 384384: Iron Overload

A number of foods on the supermarket shelves are fortified with iron. Is this a good idea? Dr. Leland Stillman, MD., says that it's not. He is convinced that most of us have too much iron in our bodies. Virtually every disease of aging is linked to excess iron accumulation: depression, anxiety, dementia, skin problems, liver failure and more. But common blood work might not reveal this issue. Iron is both a toxin and a nutrient so it can be challenging both to determine whether we are deficient or overloaded. Leland explains tell-tale signs of iron overload and he explains which assessments work and which are limited. He also goes over the nutrients we need (like copper and folate) to help our bodies properly handle iron. Finally, he tells us why donating blood to off-load iron may not be the best solution. And he weighs in on whether cooking with cast iron pans is advisable or not. Visit his website stillmanmd.com for resources and consultations. Register for the Wise Traditions conference.
