In Matthew 6-18, we continue our series on The Sermon on the Mount and see that following God is not performative through these main points.
- Because God is our provider, we give to the needy to point to Him and trust in His provision.
- Because God is relational, we pray because it is the way to relate to God.
- Because God is our sustainer, we fast to depend on Him and cultivate our hunger for Him.
