This week in our series The Wisdom of God, we looked at 1 Corinthians 1:10–17 and were reminded that because Christ alone unites believers, we are called to live as a family, not as rivals. This week, we looked at God’s Grace in a Quiet Place as Kevin walked us through 1 Kings 19:1–18! Even in seasons of weakness and discouragement, God reminds us of His unchanging, unfinished, and unstoppable plan.In this passage, we followed Elijah through:The Descent to Depression (vv. 1–8)The Ascent to Providence (vv. 9–18)We saw how we can strengthen our souls by remembering God's unchanging, unfinished, and unstoppable plan.

From 1 Corinthians 2:9–3:3, Ben Seiler, Cru’s Team Leader at OU, reminds us that Christ is meant to reign on the throne of our lives. With Jesus at the center, we can intentionally spend time with non-believers so they can also see and hear the hope of the gospel.

This week, Kevin preached an introduction to Exodus as we started studying it together in our Bible studies. Exodus and the entire Old Testament is a story of redemption, pointing us to Jesus.
