This is the welcome video for ‘What Lies Beyond,’ the companion site for my forthcoming book from Collective Ink, What Lies Beyond: Consciousness Science, the Paranormal and the Post-Materialist Future. This site will also host a new podcast, season 1 of which is scheduled for this autumn. In the video, I talk a little about the motivation for writing What Lies Beyond and why I think Exceptional Human Experiences are important. This is the place to come for anyone interested in controversies over consciousness, especially debates over psychic phenomena and mystical experience. It’s also the place to come if you’re concerned about the human future. This companion site is about engagement, exploration, dialogue and debate! I’m also simultaneously releasing an introductory essay which includes an audio version.
