Most everyone has some kind of experience with cancer--whether you have had it or know someone who has had it. Regardless, now is the time to become educated and empowered--even if you have never had cancer nor know anyone who has had it. Battleplan A is prevention. Battleplan B is described in this episode, based largely on an article in the December/January 2025 AARP magazine, written by Jamie Metzl. Mr. Metzl provides important information and tips on how to deal with a cancer diagnosis, including partnering with your doctor, doing your research, and staying optimistic. There's no downside to being prepared.
