As we come to the end of the 28 Days of Self Love series, I thought it would be really impactful for our last speaker of the serious to prove to the Elite that it is truly possible to go from a really low place to a place of self love. Shannon McBride describes her path to self love. For years she battled with mental illness, became a mother unplanned at 19, faced huge amount of anxiety, relationship problems, mental health crisis and post-natel depression. Shannon expresses how nobody around her really knew what she was experiencing. "I hated myself, my life and being a mother and I felt like if I told anyone what was really going on I would be judged or people wouldn't believe me or if they did my kids would get taken from me." She goes on to explain her breakthrough that cause her to turn her whole life around. She explains how she worked to cut out toxic people and habits, grow her self confidence, quit university and set up her business of double award winning mindfulness coaching. She discusses how she is a much better, more present and happier parent, her improved health and energy and the her gratitude for life.
