To be free from control a sacrifice was required, but does Amber have the nerve to squeeze the trigger.  Season 7, Episode 1 I’m afraid that anything I say about this episode and Season 7 will spoil it for you. I can’t stand spoilers. If you are a smart alec, you may think the title of this episode is already a big spoiler, but trust me it’s not. The best way to listen to this episode is in a quiet place with your headphones on. We live in a landscape of distractions, everything is fighting for our attention. Insight and wisdom is lost for the sake of another mindless tik tok video.  The beauty of a sunrise is forgotten because we can swipe right to see thousands of others. I’m not equating this story to the wisdom of Solomon or a beautiful sunrise, or probably I am. All I want is your attention not only for my benefit but for yours.  Apeiron Realm is a nine part series that delves into  existentialism. It’s amazing how a single cosmic event can bring humanity together. I almost missed it and a chance to take in the sublime. As people created in the image of God we remain divided. As long as we walked the earth we have lived in tribes and fought over land. In recent years tribal affiliation has intensified with the weapons of critical race theory and strong political alliances. We focus on skin colour and other trivial matters and forget we are earthlings orbiting around a star. The eclipse reminds us of our place in the universe and how small we are. You can live a painless existence by not ruffling any feathers. But who desires that? The people we admire are the risk takers, the cliff divers.Those people who ride the waves rather than observing them in their lawn chairs. I learned in this episode that being impulsive is not a bad thing. Sure you can go overboard if you’re not careful but the right kind of impulsiveness is pure magic. You may have heard about my fall from grace, of how my actions tore apart the integrity of this show. Instead of having my good name smeared across social media I want to set the record straight. Emergency Episode I am not a fan of public apologies, especially from celebrities and politicians, because they come across as wooden and insincere. You could tell a lawyer or PR person whipped up this apology in the lab. They made sure to include all the key words and leave out words that will incriminate them. Most of the time the written speech does not match their personality or communication style. It looks, smells and tastes fake. We know they’re just going through the motions. Some people accept the apology, most people call foul. And there’s a third category of people you can never please. This third category looks for blood in the open seas and waits for the opportune time to pounce. They never had your back or even a modicum of the best intentions. Your apology is an invitation to inflict damage. It fuels their self-righteousness and their lustful desire to bring you down. Hopefully my public apology will suffice and most of you will move on, but I’m not holding my breath. Some people say to live in the “now” what does that mean, and is it even true? In this bonus episode we’ll peel back the curtain and take a look at the concept of time. We spend our days held hostage by the clock as we move from one appointment to the next, from one deadline to the other. Thousands of dollars is spent on time management courses to figure out how to stretch or compartmentalize time. Time saving techniques are developed to make us more efficient. With tremendous discipline you can structure your life and move to the next level. The question remains, what is time? Not even Solomon in all his wisdom defined it, and not even Einstein in all his science fully comprehended it. A fraudulent company, and a vigilante opens the door to a philosophical time bomb Season 6 Finale, Episode 9 Written by Dark Samaritan When the government and law enforcement fail to uphold justice then anarchy is eminent. My country and probably yours is in turmoil as hoodlums are running the streets, and running major corporations. Laws are in place to protect the community but when these laws are not enforced they’re quickly ignored. Hardened criminals scoff at our legal system because they know the courtroom is a revolving door. Many of them are sent back to the streets only to commit more crimes. Vigilantes emerge from a lacklustre legal system. They are fuelled with righteous indignation and are tired of waiting for the authorities. An extreme socialist government and one person’s attempt to escape Season 6, Deep Dive The motto used to be, don’t trust the government and don’t trust the men in black. We were cautious of big government poking their Pinocchio nose in our business. Our personal information was considered sacred including our family photos and political affiliations. It was the right of every citizen in the western world to be anonymous without the control of Big Brother. So, what happened? Google, Facebook and other tech corporations wormed their way into our lackadaisical hearts. They promised us instant gratification in exchange for our privacy. It worked. Stupid cat videos, booty shaking nurses and an endless onslaught of selfies. The government, AKA Big Brother, took notice of the social media empires and spurred them on. What’s the cure? We need to wean ourselves off the government’s milk by spending less time on social media. This may seem difficult but ask yourself, what am I gaining from it? The research is clear, negative social media engagement increases anxiety and depression. This stems from us comparing ourselves to others. We compare their follower count, waistlines, vacation photos and cute selfies. On the surface it may seem innocent but behind closed doors we are a mess. We can walk around feeling sorry for ourselves and make thousands of excuses or we can man up and put our shoulders to the wheel. Playing the victim is the most popular game. All you have to do is blame someone else for your predicament. This victim mentality is lucrative on social media as everyone is fighting for space in the LGBTQ+ alphabet, or the neurodiversity spectrum. Working though pain and struggling to climb the mountain is now considered passé. Our forefathers that dug through the earth and created modernity is viewed as Neanderthals. In our arrogance and sense of entitlement we have given birth to a generation of navel gazers. If you hated the last episode, you won’t like this one. Season 6, Ep6 deep dive This statement may seem extreme and over the top and you’re probably right.Besides, how can a fictitious tale provoke hatred? However hatred and cancellation prizes are being dished out to writers and other content creators. Because of this many writers surrender their firebrand content for something more palatable and socially inclusive. Content is mass produced, prepackaged and full of preservatives to attract a wide audience. The end result is a viable product that checks all the boxes and doesn’t offend people in protective groups. Disney is the Queen of producing non offensive, predictable, market tested movies and shows.I’m not hating on Disney since I’m drinking the Mandalorian koolaid. I respect the extremists and those who swim against the stream. Even though they’re not as marketable and digestive because their stories tip over sacred cows. To investigate the murder he must retrace the steps, but when it’s his own murder everything becomes fuzzy. To reach the next level you must stay alive, aim, and fire. Season 6, Micro Episode 3.5 These days it looks like the youth are getting away with murder, yikes that sentence makes me sound like an old man. The new form of parenting in the West is the buddy system. This means to speak their lingo and relate to them like peers. A stern hand and swift justice is viewed as insensitive and draconian. Rather than punishment we opt for multiple chances. I admit the old school style of parenting has its flaws. It could be too militant and less tolerant. This method has the potential to hinder your child’s freedom of expression. But let’s be real, our children are not our peers and they shouldn’t be our buddies. What? I know this flies in the face of our current culture where we hand the keys of the city over to our children and let them run amok. Parents’ job is to lay down the law and make sure our children are compliant, not because we are fascist dictators, at least most of us are not, but because we know better. A parent and a friend are two different things, when we are fuzzy and confused about the difference it hurts their development. They need a healthy fear of authority that’s where parents come in, without that healthy fear they could easily drift. Look around you, turn on the news and see where this modern day ‘parent buddy system’ has taken us. Children have lost all sense of direction because parents have tapped out of their moral responsibility. Children and youths can’t figure out life on their own, they barely know themselves. It is the role of parents to step in and be that moral compass they desperately need. There’s some truth to “conspiracy theories” the government doesn’t want you to know Season 6, Deep Dive Is it possible for the government to control our memories with a pill? Maybe. My government and yours have been hiding things for years, this is not breaking news. Some defend the government’s secrecy by stating they are doing this for the greater good. I’m not sure what the “greater good” is. The term, conspiracy theory, was invented by the CIA in 1967 in relation to John F Kennedy’s assassination to belittle and marginalize people from asking uncomfortable questions and tipping over sacred cows. However this may be another conspiracy theory according to some online sources. The truth is out there, according to Fox Mulder, it just takes some time and patience to get there. In the not so distant future Big Pharma will create a pill to control our memories. Season 6, Episode 1 There’s some conspiracies that are a complete work of fiction, however thousands of people believe and have pledged allegiance to this worldview. Friends and even family members of mine believe in strange government conspiracies you wouldn’t hear on the evening news. Traditional news outlets wants to control everything you hear and see, since knowledge is power they want to make sure this power is regulated and to some extent suppressed. There’s many views that differ from the mainstream, whenever these views gain traction or go viral traditional news brands them as “conspiracy theories.” With this label it discourages people from taking these claims seriously.
