What the team at Nemus aims to do is to save Amazonian rain forests through NFTs and by on-the-ground action with local communities. They are minting now and I highly recommend you go check their cool minting experience where you are choosing from the map a physical piece of land you'll buy as NFT. There are different sizes and different prices so you can start as low as 0.06 ETH (if I remember correctly). The way it works, you mint/buy a mint ticket(s) for your chosen size/price which you can then use to claim the land (of a given size) and you choose the land-slot from the map where you can see other neighbours. In this episode, I talk about a project by Punk6529 called MEMEs by 6529. It's his side project (apart from his open-metaverse OM) making MEMEs front and center of our current #web3 and #NFTs culture. I guess I can say that his tweets "Seize the memes of production" are iconic and with help of different artists he's transforming this ethos into awesome NFTs where some are just scary doom AI scenes, and some are poster-like which I like the most. Posters are my thing!What I also like is the fact that 6529 is using this project as a way to learn more about NFTs, how artists work and what it entails to aim for fair and broad distribution, and what it takes to fight bot armies. Today I’m talking about the project called Duhverse; This is project which started as an experiment of a bunch of college friends about a year ago. It turned into great spring board and the initial team went on to create other cool projects while still keeping Duhverse alive while turning it into good starting point for Web3 newcomers. You can join their Duhcademy and level up your web3 skill. There are courses available on Duhverse discord. Friendly community and overall it seems like great place to start even if you don't own Duh Lamb. There are now two existing collections: Pioneers of the Duhcademy - called Lamb Duhs and pixelated and animated variants of the PX Duhmension - called Lamb Duhs PX. Today I'm talking about the project called Fringe Drifters;Fringe is one of the "movie NFTs" projects, but this has larger ambitions - it's not only about funding sci-fi movie but about (hopefully) developing and funding the whole franchise around the movie which would be owned by the community. Their plan is to first create a movie and then building it out from there hopefully mostly financed by NFTs and voted on by the community. I love it. Big plans and team with a mission and clear reasons why they don't want to do it traditional way. And in my eyes, movie franchise is kind of like building a brand around any interesting story - which is what all NFT projects eventually try to do.What you will get as a Fringe NFT holders - first you'll get PFP type of NFT of a Drifter. As a Drifter owner you will have a chance to compete to have your character in the first film and in a variety of in-universe stories as they develop. Today I'm talking about project called True After Life: After Life is kind of dark themed project which revolves around themes like death, horror, revenge, afterlife, souls, etc. It is a 3D NFT project which plans to artistically explore together with a community, the questions about what happens to us after life ends. 3D NFTs are rendered with great attention to detail where different traits affect e.g. lighting/reflections on other traits. The After Life Genesis collection was planned to be 1100 NFTs, with 999 available for sale but I believe the team decided to cut the supply to 300 NFTs for Genesis collection. That means they actually never made it to public mint, it was all sold-out in pre-sale yesterday. Well, teams have to do what they have to do to survive in less hyped market now.But the Genesis is only the beginning of the AfterLife ecosystem and shall provide exclusive benefits to holders as the project evolves. Today I'm talking about The Clinic:The Clinic is investing is an interesting project with, I'd say, all-star female team. Interesting because of its large ambitions and because it decided by a community vote to give-away for free the rest of their NFTs collection after pre-sales mint. If you are interested to join ambitious project at its start, then you are right on time, because part of 10.000 Iconic NFTs created from 330 hand-illustrated characteristics, backgrounds, accessories and hairstyles will be distributed in coming days to the community with reveal on May 9th.The fully doxxed team is led by Camille Dargan; an entrepreneur and former marketing executive from Google, Meta and Uber. There's a team of six mission driven females with a proven busienss track record and includes highly skilled artist, tech magician, biz dev and partnerships guru. The Clinic is driven by a desire to improve equality and diversity in tech space as well as to provide access to easily accessible mental wellness space. Post mint they also plan to launch a VC incubator which will invest in startup founders from diverse backgrounds who are building in the Web3, Technology, Healthcare, Education, and EJI spaces. There's also a plan to establish a career mentorship program for high school graduates to launch their careers in corporate America, web2 or web3. In the long term, The Clinic wants to develop mental health clinics around the world with hopes of bringing psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to the masses in an affordable way. Additionally, they hope to develop technology to dramatically improve mental health and self-esteem by leveraging brain-transcription technology that will stimulate a consistent positive feedback loop...It does not sound like your typical PFP project, right! She Leads is one of these projects which grabs your eyes when you see the art. Then you read that project is about women empowerment and it's ok, but there are many projects like this and I talked on Daily NFTs Minute about many of them, so that's not really unique. What I find unique is that She Leads is creating the first web3 magazine focused on equality, diversity and the empowerment of females and minorities in the space. I like the idea of a web3 magazine. The first edition focuses on translating real world activism into web3 - cool topic, made me curious! And also my fav project @NotYourBroNFT will be featured in their first magazine. The utility of the NFT is, of course, community and a subscription to this magazine; and you should expect it to be filled with up-to-date news, educational tools, artwork, interviews, and the stories of those navigating our new web3 world.Project has a star female team, led by women rights activist Goli who had to flee Iran to UK because of her women rights activist work. Mint date and price still TBA, which is good because community is still small. Today I'm talking about CrushCancer NFTs It's a female-led project with a doxxed team that focuses on supporting efforts to eradicate cancer and make the life of cancer patients more enjoyable, e.g. through donating HOPE kits to all organizations on their Index. The Index is a list of eight well-known cancer-focused foundations that they plan to support with equal donations. The collection is showing strong 3D beauties that have endured chemotherapy. In the first wave, they are minting one thousand 3D characters and overall it should be a collection of 5.000 NFTs. What will you get as an NFT holder - roadmap includes things like airdrops, IRL events (they're already planning Mansion Party in Miami for Sept), metaverse concerts or outfits, IRL cancer walks, free merch matching your 3D character accessories. Later on, possibly DAO, staking, etc.The mint is live now since April 30th for 0.05 ETH each. Minting started slowly because it kicked off against Yuga's Otherside mint and following gas war.
