Gay marriage has been forced on the state of Iowa by judges working outside the will of the people. The people of Iowa are banding together and signing petitions stating that they do not approve of homosexual marriage in their state. With the movement LUV (Let Us Vote), thousands of petitions have been put together. But come time to submit the petitions at the state capital, numerous petitions were refused and not even looked at. A right to petition the government for a redress of grievances, is a guaranteed right by the first amendment. And yet the people of Iowa are having their constitutional rights ignored. Bob Vander Plaats, of The Family Leader is our guest, today, to tell us the story.

You will not believe what Wycliffe is doing; Wycliffe is creating a new version of the Bible that is intended to be less offensive to Muslims. They have replaced the word "God" with "Allah," even going so far as to replace the text in Matthew 28:19 from "...baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" to "cleanse them by water in the name of Allah, his messiah and his holy spirit." A Bible translation should never rewrite the scriptures, it should only bring them into another language. This translation that Wycliffe is doing is a clear and deliberate rewrite, diluting the scriptures in order to make them more palatable to Muslims. Pastor Hagee tells us that this is heresy; Revelation 22:18 and 19 gives us a very specific warning about adding to or taking away from the scriptures.

It looks like we could have our political candidates for the 2012 election. Jordan Sekulow of The American Center for Law and Justice is our guest to talk to us about Mitt Romney. The question has been, will evangelicals support Romney? Will he be faithful in upholding our conservative values? If Romney becomes president, we can expect that good judges will be selected. For some of us who may have been apprehensive about Romney, Sekulow puts us at ease, and ensures us that Romney has been a good selection for Republican Nominee.

This is critical for the 2012 election. Too few Christians vote. If we can get just a few more Christians to vote, the impact could be dramatic! Bill Dallas of United in Purpose tells us that we can know who isn't voting, and we can encourage those individuals to use their voice. Statistically, one-third of the people in your church don't vote. The future of our country is in their hands. In some states, all it would take is one or two mega-churches, to completely turn the outcome in the right direction. This is a very real and tangible fact.

Sometimes we're so busy fighting to save our right to exercise faith, that we actually forget to exercise our faith. There are two components of faith- action and prayer. Both are incredibly important, and today we'll look at prayer. Pastor Rick Scarborough is our guest. He tells us that we need to ask God for forgiveness, as a nation. Prayer is a critical part of renewal. 40 Days to Save America, starting in September, will be our opportunity to ask God for that forgiveness which we need.

What is the latest on Obamacare? Obamacare has been taken to the supreme court. Three days of arguments were provided, and the people are paying attention. Attorney David French, will give us an inside story on it. Liberals were shocked to discover that conservatives had a strong argument as for why Obamacare is not constitutional, and why it should be overturned. Could it actually be overturned? How, in the spirit of liberty, could an individual be forced to purchase an insurance policy, and how can the debt imposed by Obamacare be moral?

You will not believe what is happening in California schools. A program is being introduced that instructs children, as early as kindergarten, that they may choose whichever gender they want to be, and even that surgeries are available if they want to change their gender later in life. Parents are not given the choice to opt their children out of the program. No child is permitted to advance to the next grade without completing this program, first. What is the solution? David French is on today to give us an update on the state of religious liberty in our nation. You'll hear the good news and the bad news. The founders intended for us to live out our faith; our government is not supposed to meddle in religion. Religious liberty is under attack in a way that is reminiscent of England in the 16th and 17th centuries. At Vanderbilt University in Nashville, religious groups are being told they must be open to non-Christian leadership within their organization. Our guest today is Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life. Students for Life reaches out to young women at college campuses and educates them on life. Kristan talks about a number of life related topics. Among the topics is consideration for a law requiring women looking at having an abortion to view an ultrasound image of their child beforehand. This can have a very powerful impact. After seeing a picture of one's child, a woman is far less likely to choose the abortion procedure.

Topics include: * Planned Parenthood clinics are continuing to close across the nation. * Abortion rates are continuing to fall. * Guest Steve Crampton, of Liberty Counsel talks about a case in Alabama that could undermine the strength of Roe v Wade. * Could the government be requiring your insurance provider to charge an extra one dollar each month, that you don't know about, to help fund abortions?

The Obama administration with its healthcare mandate is saying contraceptive and "emergency" contraceptive services must be provided to employees. Now, people are forced to go against their conscience. Catholic organizations are the first to be adversely impacted, because they don't believe in contraception. But ultimately, everyone who holds conservative values is being impacted because "emergency" contraception includes abortion-inducing drugs. Even if the mandate were limited to simple contraception by itself, this is still a blow to liberties and the right of conscience. Steve Miller is on today to tell us about Colorado Christian University (which is non-Catholic), and their stand against the mandate, and their position on conscience.

Religious freedom is under attack, today But now it has found its way into our military- the very place where religion is needed most. We have the most biblically-hostile president in the history of the US. Our administration has banned Bibles and other religious items from the Walter Reed medical center. Veterans are not allowed to have funerals in which God or Jesus is mentioned. What can we do and how can we make this right? Congressman Tim Huelskamp of Kansas is our guest, today. He has filed the Military Religious Freedom Protection Act, and he talks to us about how it can set things right. Call your members of congress; Lets get this passed!

After hearing about the ridiculous claim that the Military is requiring men to wear empathy bellies and fake breasts to sympathize with the feelings of pregnant officers, we knew we had to get Texas State Senator Brian Birdwell's opinion on this! As ludicrous as this sounds, might there actually be a valid reason for it? Or is this just political correctness gone out of hand? Tune in today, to find out what this is all about.

The City of El Paso, Texas has been trying to legitimize domestic partnerships in the city. The people let their voices be heard, and rejected the decision of the city counsel and voted against it. The city ignored the people's voice, and now churches and religious organizations have been organizing a recall petition, to present to the counsel demonstrating that the people do not want domestic partnerships in their city. The city is now suing churches for participating in politics! Joel Oster of Alliance Defense Fund is our guest, today.
