Anita Ingram is someone who's had such a varied, successful career, and along the way, she's touched many lives. Most recently, on the Vocation Transformation podcast, she shares the story of how she transitioned from Assistant VP & Chief Risk Officer at the University of Cincinnati to pursue academia as a full-time educator at the same school. When asked about how she's bringing faith to the workplace, and what she's learned in that journey, Anita has a great deal of insight. "I learned I have to take my faith into the workplace—and I [have done] that through prayer. And I [have done] that through listening [to] what the Holy Spirit was telling me, and practicing discernment," Anita says. Continue listening to the interview to hear Anita describe how she leans on God when she's facing new opportunities—such as when presenting to the Board of Trustees—as well as in day-to-day situations that arise. Anita also shares a powerful story of when she was able to disciple a student, in-the-moment, when she was invited to share more about her faith and prayer life. "I know that God intervened," says Anita, who also shares the student was able to ultimately overcome the crisis situation she was in.

Charlotte Fitz—who also goes by Char—is a recent guest on AWOP's Vocation Transformation podcast hosted by Chuck Proudfit and Laura Jackson. Char is someone who says that her job is her assignment from God. The role she's currently in is one she says that she feels she was not necessarily entirely qualified for, however Jesus told her to apply anyway. "It was something at that job [Jesus] needed me to get out of the job, or the job [would] get out of me," shares Char when reflecting on her journey.
