Whether it be in romantic, platonic or even relationships with yourselves - we learn lessons from getting hurt. But acknowledge that the lesson isn’t that you aren’t pretty enough or aren’t funny enough but that you simply have a beautiful capability for compassion. You have a heart so big you are able to give out love and experience it, sometimes it may not work out the way we want it to but that’s okay. Don’t beat yourself up about it. Recognise that sadness can create art, heartbreak can create learning and self love to be your priority. Compassion is not a weakness, do not shut yourself off from love but see it as something you have a wonderful capability to have. ILYSM.
