S1 Ep 1how grateful are you that things didn’t work out
If you miss your bus, it’s not that deep another bus will come. If your train is cancelled, it’s really not that deep another train will come soon. Use this analogy for your life. If a romantic relationship doesn’t work out, don’t panic - there will always be another date to meet the love of your life. If a friendship deteriorates, it’s not that deep - a connection better than you could have hoped is round the corner. If you didn’t get the job, don’t panic there will always be another interview opportunity. How GRATEFUL are you that certain things didn’t work out in your life, so when things ‘go wrong’ it’s not really that deep in fact it’s a blessing in disguise. Things that really ARE that deep are choosing who you surround yourself with and a few other important things. You can only control one thing in this life, it’s yourself - your decisions. Ily

Now that you know better, do better (The importance of self reflection)
The phrase ‘you should know better’ sits forefront of our mind when something goes wrong, because we have probably not learnt our ‘lesson’. In today’s episode, I talk about how to stop repeating cycles of poor choices by the power of self reflection. Topics include: Alchemising emotions into an output to stop regretting things, shifting your ‘why is this happening to me’ mindset to ‘why is this happening FOR me’, recognise bad decisions to make better ones, doing ‘better’ doesn’t mean you have to be perfect and SO MUCH more!

Have the courage to be disliked
“What you’re not changing you’re choosing” Essentially 7 conscious decisions to make in your life to grow and change into the person you want to be - Have the courage to: have your feelings hurt, walk away, forgive, stop trying to change people and more! Ily

How to grow, change and self-improve
Forget ‘new year, new me’ and think lessons you had to learn last year that can change the you of THIS year. S5 Ep 1everything I know about friendships
Welcome to my ‘everything I know about’ series - helping you recognise when a friendship isn’t working anymore, timing, everything happening for a reason and the art of letting go. ‘You can only meet someone as far as they have met themselves’ Friendships don’t have to be messy, draining or hard work - friendships should feel like a home away from home. But equally, the beauty of seeing each other and understanding each other is the KEY to an amazing partnership romantic or platonic.

S4 Ep 8other people’s opinions of you is none of your business
It’s in our human nature to care about what people think about us, but if that person doesn’t even have your number to even call you up and tell you that opinion of you - the opinion itself is a reflection of themselves not you. We waste so much time and energy caring about what people say about us, but you can’t progress in life if that time is spent thinking of other peoples opinions. I have the mentality ‘if they haven’t said it to my face, they haven’t said it all’ - for peace of mind, neglect and ignore the care for others opinions as it’s none of your business. Bad things or negative opinions said about you is THEIR time wasted, don’t reciprocate this time lost and only care about the opinions of those closest to you - yourself, your family and your best friend. ILYSM.

S4 Ep 8everything is happening FOR me and not TO me
‘Everything that has happened to me bad or good is a lesson’ - I always try to not have regrets in my life because everything happens for a reason, I discuss how I don’t regret any negative relationships, friendships, jobs that didn’t work out, love I’ve given out etc and seeing it as a LESSON. what can that experience teach me, what will I not accept from someone moving forward in my life. ILYSM

S4 Ep 8how to not base your worth on your looks
you are so much more than a body and so much more than the way you stomach looks on a random Tuesday. Never value your ability to be loved on the way you look, surround yourself with people that never make you want to hide yourself, how to stop comparing yourself to people on the internet and how to stop punishing your body rather celebrate it. ILYSM

S4 Ep 5do we ever fully recover from eating disorders
TW: talk of eating disorders. Even after recovery there may still be thoughts, habits and feelings engrained within our brain therefore do we really recover? Diet culture is so embedded within our day to day media consumption and even physical visual reminders such as in super markets that it is hard to ‘get over’. I discuss how to learn to co-exist with that voice in your head, accepting sometimes you need to be kind to yourself, how to celebrate the fact you look different to people online, food isn’t the enemy and how to treat yourself with empathy. You are SO much more than just a body. ILY

S4 Ep 1Comparison kills individuality
The prevalence of social media and how often we see beautiful people we so easily fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to strangers - killing confidence and individuality. I discuss how to be accepting of yourself, how fast fashion is ruining ‘personal style’, insecurities and how it is a good thing that you are not the person you once was. FILM ANALYSIS - ‘Her’ Spike Jonzse ‘I am yours and I am not yours - even those who are not of physical form pine for love and the simple art of connection - communication’

S5 Ep 1a hopeless romantic in hookup culture
‘Date yourself instead’ is the foremost important thing I can tell to a hopeless romantic, being a hopeless romantic means you can’t just ‘play it cool’ or ‘play hard to get’ - we as humans are meant to FEEL and celebrate these emotions of passion and don’t apologise for it. I talk about ways to express hopeless romantic feelings, the impact hookup culture has on romantics, dating yourself instead and to not change yourself for anyone. MOVIE CULTURE - todays movie analysis I talk about Sofia Coppolas 2023 ‘Priscilla’ and my essay on the use or lack of sound to portray the universal feminine yearning for companionship.

S3 Ep 6the fear of growing up as a woman and Jacob elordi
Today’s episode discusses both the policing of women aging and also the artistic inspiration of saltburns most disturbing scenes. In the first half, I breakdown the ‘retinol girls vs ribbon women’ discussion on TikTok about wanting to be older as a young girl, but ribbon bows being girlhood reminiscence to young adults - As well as the fear of aging, saltburn, books I’m reading, celebrity crushes and in the last half - everything I would say in a face time call to my best friend. ILY.

S3 Ep 5how to grow confidence in 2024
How to not care what people think. You have to practice who you want to be, emulate that person on your Pinterest board and take every situation as ‘what would my dream self do’. I discuss how you are what you consume media wise, who you are in your alone time is reflected when you are around others, to attract your dream life you must project confidence in yourself, how to not care about people’s opinions, how to ‘fake it till you make it’, healing from anxiety and loving yourself as well as your looks. ILYSM

S4 Ep 5how to not fear judgment
I have struggled with allowing myself peace with my mental health or even just not trying to control every little thing - I discuss both my ‘Let them’ and ‘open door’ theories regarding forcing friendships/relationships, how to love your own company, how to stop being so hard on yourself, wearing what YOU want to wear without fear of judgement, spending time wisely with good people and creative ways to give an outlet for your mental health in bad times. (TW) mentions of allowing yourself to enjoy food and not see it as the enemy. ILYSM

S4 Ep 2stay sensitive, emotional and passionate
In a society that tells you to ‘play it cool’ around your crush or to not be so passionate about things you love or not over dress because the occasion is casual or to not be so emotional about little things - FEEL. We as humans are meant to feel and express every little emotion, being emotional made me create this very podcast - empathy will never be a bad thing. Saying how you feel will never ruin a real connection, romantic OR platonic. Stop playing it cool and start being yourself - beautiful and emotional. Be a hopeless romantic!! ILY

S4 Ep 1how to not be hard on yourself
on todays episode I discuss the concept of comparison and not feeling worthy due to being so hard on yourself. There is often a deeper meaning to being hard on yourself such as unhealed trauma or being fearful of other peoples opinions/judgement. Learn to be kind to yourself and surround yourself with the right people, recognise the fact putting yourself down is not going to help achieve your dreams of goals - give yourself time and empathy to be yourself again. Protect your peace but don’t lose yourself in the process. ILY.
