On Episode 52 of the Night School series, Mike sits down with composer, producer, and artist Johan Lenox for a legendary conversation. Originally from Winchester, MA and growing up exclusively with a classical/orchestral music background, Johan has found himself deeply embedded in the mainstream hip-hop scene, working with the likes of artists such as Kanye West, John Legend, Big Sean, Travis Scott, BROCKHAMPTON, Saint JHN, Ty Dolla $ign, Vic Mensa, Snoh Aalegra, and so many more. Johan has started to put together an impressive catalog of solo music, and gets in depth with his experiences from both sides with Mike. Johan also discusses his early years learning to play piano and write sheet music, his recent recognition on Grammy Award winning music, new single "phases" with Cousin Stizz, and his upcoming album this summer titled 'What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?', and even shares moments of being in the studio with Nelly, and playing piano in front of Jay-Z & Beyonce.
