Nadeem Haque discusses his new book (with Al-Hafiz B.A. Masri and Mehran Banaei) Ecolibrium: The Sacred Balance in Islam. Nadeem writes: “Islam is regarded in the Quran (its primary textual source) as a natural belief system founded on nature (in Arabic: fitrah). Furthermore, in the Quran, nature is spoken of profusely, not only as a pointer to God (a singular non-anthropomorphic ‘non-localized entity’) but also as a source of sustainability for all creatures that inhabit this vast universe. To this extent, Ecolibrium shows that the Quranic system does not separate the ‘religious’ from the ‘sacred’, for everything is sacred in the sense that it is honoured and respected as the creation of God. When I first heard that Sandy Hook survivors were suing Jim Fetzer and Alex Jones for defamation, I expected Fetzer and Jones to lose, or at best to win by arguing that they never deliberately lied and that their erroneous statements did not reach the level of reckless disregard for truth. I expected trials would take place, defendants would make extensive use of discovery to challenge plaintiffs’ claims, but that ultimately the plaintiffs would prove to everyone’s satisfaction that the official version of Sandy Hook is true and that the strongest challenges to it cannot stand up in court.But the trials that might have cleared up the Sandy Hook issue never happened. Despite the Constitution’s guarantee of the right to have disputed facts tried by jury in civil cases, the Fetzer and Jones lawsuits were summarily decided by judges who simply rubber-stamped the plaintiffs’ stories while muzzling the defendants. I witnessed Jim Fetzer’s Stalinist show trial in person and couldn’t believe what I was seeing and hearing.So the legal strategies pursued by Pozner’s posse may have succeeded judicially, but at the price of undermining the credibility of the plaintiffs and the legal system. Zafar Bangash argues that since the founding of Pakistan in 1947 its leadership has blundered from crisis to crisis “like a corner drunk”—and the current catastrophe, brought on by corrupt leaders complicit in the anti-Imran Khan coup, is one of the all-time worst. Adam Green takes this to mean that Jews invented Christianity to dupe Christians into submitting to Yahweh, who is ultimately a stand-in for the Jewish elite. But that ignores the stark differences between the Torah (Old Testament) and the New Testament. When this rabbi speaks of "the Bible" he means the Torah. And it's true that partly due to Jewish influence, some Christians have become Torah-thumpers— which sets them up as de facto slaves of the Jewish-Zionist elite. But traditional mainstream Christianity interprets the Old Testament very differently from the way Talmudic Jews interpret it. For Christians (and Muslims) Jesus is the only true Messiah, whereas for Jews Jesus is an imposter greeted with obscene insults. Mennonite attorney Bruce Leichty discusses the brief he filed in the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals last month, asserting that federal judge John W. Broomes committed numerous errors when he granted summary judgment to Bethel College, and prevented him from taking his case to a jury.Leichty was arrested in 2019 for participating in a holocaust conference at Bethel College in Kansas for which he had paid and registered. His crime? Handing out fliers until he was asked not to, then participating in Q&A and posing questions that made people uncomfortable. Since when was it illegal to ask questions? Filmmaker John Hankey, director of the Dark Legacy films on the assassination of JFK Jr. and more recently “COVID19 Inside Job“, says the children at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas may have been killed by a manchurian candidate (just like JFK Jr. was). He thinks the motive was less to promote gun control, but to shift the conversation to gun control: “I wish the motive wasn’t screamingly obvious: to try to change the debate from abortion, an issue which kills the Republicans, to guns, an issue which kills the Democrats. This shooting makes clear, to me at least and at long last, that the Sandy Hook shooting was the same, to provoke the Democrats to a suicidal assault on weapons. First 40 minutes: Joel Hirschhorn discusses his article “Brain Fog A Stubborn Symptom of Long COVID.” Dr. Hirschhorn, author of Pandemic Blunder (which scooped RFK Jr.’s book by a year) argues that so-called “long COVID” is a very real problem, at least for a substantial minority of people who have been infected with SARS-CoV-2. If Hirschhorn stopped there, I could post this interview on YouTube. But he goes on to say that long COVID is at least partly caused by the toxicity of the spike protein—which explains why vaccinated people sometimes suffer long-COVID-like symptoms. To commemorate the occasion, two leading Catholic experts, Gary Giuffre and Dr. Peter Chojnowski, joined me for an interfaith discussion of the meaning of the most celebrated miracle of the modern age.In this, the first hour of the live show, I interview Gary Giuffre, author of the forthcoming The Plot Against the Pope and Grave Reasons of State: The Atomic Bomb and the Eclipse of the True Vicar of Christ. Gary Giuffre is often credited as the foremost proponent of the Siri thesis that the Vatican was taken over by a freemasonic coup d’état in 1958. It happened on May 13 in the year 1917, in the middle of the great war, World War One. And the children who saw this apparition were quite young (ten years old and younger). There were three of them: a brother and a sister (Francisco and Jacinta Marto) who apparently died young, and the girl (Lúcia dos Santos) who grew up to become Sister Lucy after the miracle was accepted by the Catholic Church. I'm going to talk a little bit about that apparition in the first khutbah, then discuss its significance, especially in terms of Islam and relationships between Christians and Muslims, in the second khutbah.This apparition at Fatima was (deemed by Catholics) a miracle, what we call a karama in Islam. They're generally miracles of the saints. A karama would be a miracle that comes to somebody that we would consider a wali Allah or a saint. And in Christianity it's very similar. Both the Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church have their saints. And the difference, of course, is that in Islam we don't have a bureaucracy like the Catholic Church that could stamp these miracles (as authentic) and tell us precisely which are real miracles, which aren't, and which potential saints are actual saints and which ones aren't.So, the miracle: The three children saw a very bright light in the sky. And it kind of dissolved into the form of a woman. It reminds us a little bit of the descriptions of when the Angel Gabriel came to Prophet Muhammad when he was meditating in the cave on Mt. Hira, and this angelic figure stretched all the way to the far horizon and then became very close. And it was something that went beyond a simple physical description.And that's the case here as well. These children looked up in the sky and saw bright lights resolving into the figure of a a large female figure in the sky. And apparently this apparition happened not just that first time on May 13th, 1917, but it also happened five other times. So there were a total of six apparitions. And the last one was on October 13th of 1917.These six apparitions were taken to be Our Lady, as they call her. The Catholics, of course, have a long tradition of venerating the Virgin Mary, sometimes called Mariolotry. I'm not sure if that's a negative pejorative term for it. (It is. -ed.) I'm not really a very good scholar of Christianity. But in any case, they have a very strong religious feeling for the mother of Jesus, peace upon them, just as we do in Islam. Many of the Christians may not realize that we have a whole surah in the Qur'an about Mary that is named after Mary, surat Miriam. It's very beautiful.So anyway, so these children saw Our Lady, they said. And then she gave them the messages. And some of them became known as The Secrets of Fatima. And I believe there were three. And the third secret of Fatima, the final secret of Fatima, was one that they weren't supposed to reveal (for many decades).And eventually I guess they did (supposedly) reveal it. Sister Lucy was the last one who remained alive (after the death of the Martos). She became a nun, and then she became canonized as a saint, because this was officially stamped as a true miracle. Particularly on the final apparition on October 13, 1917, a huge number of people saw these bizarre phenomena going on in the sky. They didn't all see the form of the woman giving information to the children, but they saw something really strange was going on with the lights in the sky. Prof. Thaddeus Kozinski says “Foucault Told the Truth.” Subhead: “About the Kingdom of Darkness.” The essay begins: “Michel Foucault was committed to the ‘truth’ that discourse is nothing but the surreptitiously coercive use of power, and the more hidden the power, the more effective the coercion. They just happen to be what they are. For example in E=mc2, the E is any measured quantity of energy and m is any measured quantity of mass, but the c is the velocity of light, and this is one of those arbitrary constants. The strength of the gravitational force is another example, along with the strength of the electric force that holds electrons in atoms, and the strong force which binds neutrons and protons together in the nucleus. All of these are arbitrary constants. There is no theory to tell us what they ought to be.About 50 years ago, physicists started asking “what kind of universe would this be if these constants were different”. They discovered a startling fact. Our universe would be VERY different if any of these “arbitrary” constants were changed just a little bit. In every case, the universe would be much less interesting, and life would probably be impossible.For example, if the balance between the strong force and the electric force were tipped more toward the electric force, then there would be no chemical elements except hydrogen. Nuclei would not be able to hold together, because the electric repulsion between the protons would make them fly apart. If it were tipped more toward the strong force, then neutrons and protons would clump together indefinitely, until all atoms merged into a giant neutron star. Chemistry is the basis of life. It’s the difference between gold and granite, between air and ice cream. No chemistry means a dull world indeed.Another example, the gravitational force is just right for stars and galaxies. If it were just a little weaker, the clouds of gas that came out of the big bang would never condense to make galaxies and stars. The world would remain forever a diffuse gas. If the gravitational force were a little stronger, stars would burn much hotter, and they would burn themselves out in thousands of years instead of billions of years. Probably life could not evolve in those circumstances.One more example: Electrons are much lighter than protons, about 1800 times smaller in mass. If electrons were a little lighter, they would be traveling too close to the speed of light for atoms as we know them to exist. If they were heavier, then …Before 1970, scientists regarded life as an opportunistic phenomenon that could probably arise in some form with any set of arbitrary constants that Nature chose to throw out. But after these articles in the 1970s, physicists had to face the fact that the very possibility of life depended on a lot of conditions that they (physicists) had regarded as arbitrary. The “standard” interpretation among physicists is that there are many, many universes, but only a tiny fraction of them have life. Of course, we live in one of those improbable universes because we are here to ask the question. The religious interpretation is that God created a universe hospitable to life. A scientific/spiritual interpretation is that consciousness is “the ground of being”, closely related to fundamental physics, and that consciousness fashioned the universe and living creatures as a home for itself.II What is the relationship between mind and brain?In the 1990s, a philosopher named David Chalmers hammered away at challenging philosophers to address this question. He called it the “hard problem”. The world of subjective experience and awareness that each of us knows so well has no obvious relationship to matter or physics. How did the two come to be connected?Chalmers himself narrows the question to “how does the brain generate consciousness?” assuming that consciousness is generated by the brain. But 125 years ago, William James offered a cogent argument that we only know that awareness is associated with brain activity, and not that it is caused by brain activity. He offered reasons to think that consciousness has an independent existence, apart from physics. The brain, then, is a transducer that takes sense signals from the world and connects them to the realm of consciousness, while taking willful intention from the realm of consciousness and connecting it to nerves and muscles. James was offering a lecture on “human immortality.” If the brain produces consciousness, then we can’t expect that there is any consciousness that survives death, when the brain no longer functions. But if the brain merely connects consciousness to the physical world, then it is plausible that our individual consciousness might survive after our bodies are dead.Note: A lot of activities an

They're both people with a very strong medical credentials who've questioned the COVID party line and gotten some pushback for their pains. Dr. Peter McCullough is a cardiologist with a strong public health background, a master's in public health from the University of Michigan. Jessica is a Canadian researcher who's got a bachelor's in applied math, a master's in immunology, a PhD in computational biology, and on and on and on, even more than that. But we'll just get going here. So, hey, welcome. Peter and Jessica. How are you?Jessica Rose: Great. Good, thanks.Kevin Barrett: Well, it's an honor to have you. We'll start with Peter, because although both guests are having some Internet issues. Peter's are worse. So, Peter, we're going to start here first. Maybe you could quickly introduce yourself and let us know how you ended up being somebody who's being both cheered and smeared for saying sensible things about COVID and the experimental injections.Peter McCullough: I'm a practicing internist and cardiologist in Dallas, Texas. Academic practice. I spend about half my time seeing patients like yesterday and half my time in academic mode. As an author and former editor and contributor, I'm a frequent news commentator now. Never thought I would be in the limelight, but I was very much prepared for it in terms of my training and background in analyzing data, both as a clinical trialist and an epidemiologist. I have been cheered, there's no doubt about it. I've testified in the US Senate and been well received across multiple news platforms. I've only been jeered, I think—in fact, I know—by people with no credentials and no credibility. And I think that jeers are about 1% and I think the cheers are 99%. But if you can find somebody who's credible, who's ever said a discrediting statement, I'd be happy to see it.Kevin Barrett: Well, here's here's a kind of humorous discrediting statement. According to Wikipedia, you're spreading misinformation about COVID because you are not sure that people under 30 should be getting the experimental injections. Now, I don't quite understand that.Peter McCullough: But let me just say, Wikipedia has contributors who are anonymous. The most frequent contributor to my Wikipedia page is not me. I should actually be writing my own Wikipedia page. In fact, Wikipedia has locked me out. It's someone in Illinois named the Altman, so it's an anonymous, uncredentialed person who's putting incorrect information on my Wikipedia page. So Wikipedia, in my view, since it's not a biographical or autobiographical page that's credentialed or allows the individual to actually put correct information, Wikipedia should be removed from the Internet and clearly not viewed by anybody who's interested in the truth.Kevin Barrett: I agree completely. I had a five year battle with Wikipedia myself and it was maddening. They had libelous information up for five years that couldn't be taken down, sourced to an anonymous obscure blog lying about me. So yeah, it's completely insane. And the idea that questioning whether people under 30 should be getting these COVID injections (is bad) is also completely insane, isn't it? Where do they come up with it?Peter McCullough: You know, I'm a doctor, so I decide not Wikipedia. I decide. I have the medical authority to decide and help patients judge the risks and the benefits. The risks of the vaccines in people under 30 far outweigh any benefits that could be had, even from the very beginning against the wildtype strain which the vaccines were designed to block. Now, with the Omicron strain across the age spectrum, the risks which are still there outweigh any theoretical benefits. And again, I'm the doctor. I have the authority to decide and make that judgment, not anonymous Wikipedia people.Kevin Barrett: Well, I'm not a doctor, but that's sure how it looks to me too. I just can't imagine why anybody would be telling young people to (get vaccinated) even back in the bad old days of Delta. Even then, the numbers didn't make any sense to me either. So, Peter, where did this COVID thing come from? It looks like a bioweapon, and there are various theories about that. Larry Johnson of The Son of the New American Revolution blog is a well-informed and eloquent critic of the official US government and media line on Ukraine. In this interview, Larry Johnson casts severe doubts on much of what we’re hearing from the media, including the claims that “Ukraine is winning”:“What you would expect to see if the Ukrainians functioned as an effective army: number one, in the east, they would have broken out. They would have actually launched a counterattack against the Russians and pushed the Russians back to the border. That hasn't happened. In fact, the reports show steady progress by these Russian backed forces in Donetsk and Luhansk in pushing back the Ukrainian military. “Number two, the Russians have basically they have sealed, completely shut down, the southern coast of Ukraine and their access to the Black Sea. Again, if the Ukraine had a viable, capable army that could fight against that, they would be launching counterattacks to push the Russians out and to open those ports. They haven't done that. What we're seeing is that this group of neo-Nazis that are in the steel plant area of Mariupol are slowly being encircled and killed. So again, if Ukraine had a functioning army, you'd expect to see artillery strikes coming in to try to push back the Russians. We're not seeing that. You'd expect to see air strikes, some sort of air operation, whether with fixed wing or rotary wing. We're not seeing that. Cruise missiles. We're not seeing that. So do they not have it or are they just incapable of using it in an effective manner? And I think it's the latter. Because it's irrational for them not to use it if it's still viable. You obviously seem to know what you're talking about and have a certain amount of military and strategic analysis background. So where did you get that? And then how did you come around to these off-propaganda-script views?Larry Johnson: I started working with the Central Intelligence Agency in 1985. I was there until 1989, moved from there to the US Department of State's Office of Counterterrorism. I was there for four years and then moved off and began again doing consulting in 1993-94. And I worked for 24 years with the U.S. military special operations forces. So one of the unique insights I've had is being able to integrate CIA, State Department, FBI and the rest of the intelligence community with military operations and capabilities.Kevin Barrett: A very interesting background. That's actually kind of similar to the background of my friend, Veterans Today Editor Gordon Duff, who's certainly an interesting character, and who's been on the show quite a few times. Gordon saw that there were some problems with the official story of everything in the mainstream from the moment he went to Vietnam as a marine and saw what was happening in Vietnam. It didn't match the patriotic story. And it just kind of got worse from there, apparently, culminating after 9/11 with that obvious big lie and the controlled demolition of the Trade Center pissing him off enough that he would eventually start Veterans Today. What was your trajectory that led you to your current views?Larry Johnson: Well, I just I just try to assess information. I mean, it's got to add up.
