City Girls is a hot rap group from Miami and there’s a lot to their story. I spoke to Yung Miami back in 2018 when her partner JT was still in prison. Even if you’re not a fan of City Girls, this is a fascinating look at someone from the bottom who’s about to change her life forever. Ep 338Joey Bada$$–I Am Hiphop

Joey Badass is one of the leaders of the modern generation of MCs. His new album 2000 is deep and so is our conversation. I didn’t expect to talk about emotional intelligence and his passion for self-improvement. I didn’t expect him to bring his 4 yo daughter and let her sit in. I didn’t expect him to be as sensitive as he is here. Great convo about hiphop and about feelings.
