Touré Show Episode 90 DMC is one third of Run-DMC the most important group in hiphop history. Run-DMC were rap’s first superstars and their success helped the genre become a global phenomenon. But through all the triumphs, DMC was unhappy. He was an alcoholic who became depressed and then suicidal. He thought about how to kill himself all the time. Then he found out he was adopted.
