Show Notes

In this week's episode, we are learning from Sean Priest about how to bring social justice and equity directly into our schools. There are multiple things that impede students' learning and experience at school. This could be social influences, high stress, outside responsibilities and more. The goal for school leaders is to find out how they can get involved in dismantling those obstacles. This could be in the form of changing the way you do grading for example. Remember that equity should be educating oneself first about the different issues learners face and then giving them power to make changes that will serve their needs.
