Welcome back yall! ANOTHER SURRENDER, I lay it ALLLLLL down! Women Evolve 2024 was all that and then some but I am home now so the question is, now what!? It is so important to get beyond the feels of conferences, sermons, experiences, and truly apply all that God has given. On this episode I talk about how my WE24 experience was truly transformative, more than I could’ve even asked for and I am so thankful that I did not go with many expectations. My God is calling me to continue to surrender, the day, the plan, the next step, the goals….surrender it all. I used to be the woman in the driver’s seat at all times because I did not truly KNOW GOD but I know that man now and He expects so much more. So……I surrender all. Welcome back yall! Are you handling God’s people well? On this episode we are discussing how to care for God’s people well. How do you handle yourself well? It is so easy to care for those who care for us, but as believers we are called to care for all God’s people even the sinners. For some, we do well at caring for people who do not believe but are extremely judgmental of those who call themselves believers. I too found myself being extremely judgmental before life began to happen to me. I was in this perfect little box and found myself stuffing it with shame. I was afraid to share my flaws, my sins, my shortcomings because I was so judgmental of others. My personal sin opened my eyes to handling God’s people well. I am thankful that my story has allowed me to extend grace and truth to others, but I do not want that for everyone. Let’s just care. Care for all of God’s people! Let me know what yall think.!

On this episode, I talk about disappointment & intimacy with God. This hasn't been the easier year for you and I have learned that in my weakest moments, I made the decision to bring God in. Easy? No. But, oh so worth it to include Him and maintain the light of Christ during times of disappointments.

I am enjoying growing through this process with ya’ll. So let’s jump in! Deception! Deception! Deception! How would we know if we are being deceived , if we are not spending intimate time with God!? He wants us to stay alert and mindful of enemy’s schemes. I am discussing how the noise of this world can be so deceiving, therefore I need to constantly seek God daily for guidance on what I am letting in. I need to seek Him before speaking for Him. I need to seek Him before making decisions that appear to be minor because deception is real and we can easily fall into it. Intimacy/closeness with God is must.

Welcome back yall! We are still talking about intimacy with God and what it has looked like for me. On this episode we will discuss how idolatry can interrupt our closeness with God. It is 100% possible to love things or people more than our love and admiration for God. I talk about how easy it is to get our order wrong and fill the Christ sized void with other things. The more intimate time we spend with God will open the door for Him to reveal if anything or anyone is taking His place. We need Him! We yearn to be seen, heard, known, and accepted and if we are not careful we will find ways to fulfill our needs without God. Allow God to search your heart and reveal if anything is out of order (Pslams 139:23-24).

Welcome back ya’ll! Season 2 is back and we are talking about intimacy with God! Lord, I want more of you! That has been my prayer! On this episode, we are discussing how did I get to this point? The point of wanting more of God. Simply put, I got tired of being familiar with the presence of God. Tired of experiencing God in the same way. I wanted more! I was TIED of pouring, pouring, pouring and not just sitting at the feet of my Father and it led me to this point. I want more, God! I want all that He has for me in the comfort of Him arms. I speak about what my process has been, ask, read, and slow down. I starting with asking God to search my heart (Psalms 139: 23-24), then getting into this word so that it could confirm what He reveals and check me, okay real good (Hebrews 4: 12-13), and lastly slow down and sit with God (Matt 6:33). So I am slowing down, enjoying time with God, and discussing it with y’all. I know God speaks to His people, if this is relatable for you let’s do it together. Slow down and be with God so that we can do for God the way He desires for us! Let’s do it.

God has me in a space that is requiring me to slow down and assess who I am and who He is to me. What I do not want is to be doing, doing, doing for God that I miss intimate time with Him. Matthew 7:21-23: Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness. I do not want to get to end of this all and He says...I never knew you! I do not want that for me, I do not want that for you! Let's be intentional with our relationship with God before doing anything for God! Love yall!

We will all reflect on how this Summer has been living together for the Summer. This is a pretty vulnerable episode as we dig into how it felt during this time. We are more than half way through the year, it’s time to reflect! Where were you in January? Where did you think you would be by now? How have you seen God’s hand in your life, despite what you thought would be? This episode, I open up about how I started my year and just how different things are from what I expected! Ya girl, has grieved a whole relationship, developed stronger friendships, and slowed down enough to understand the beauty of God’s creations. I started this year declaring my word of 2024 to be wife and soon after found myself in a relationship that did not end in marriage. But God, He has truly shown me His love through this process. He has comforted me in ways I did not know I needed. He has sent friends/family to keep me speaking exactly what He said! Reflections are good, God is always in it! Look for Him!

It doesn't matter if you are personally going or watching the shorts, reels, and videos through social media. The wedding bug is all around us! My question: how does one balance the emotions and desire to marry while celebrating others well!? You admit there are feels! I am leading with vulnerability on this episode and saying the things, you can hold both things. It's giving both/and! How sway? Because I am whole human being and God embraces my humanity. I am so proud of how I am showing up and God giving me the ability to watch kingdom marriages come together AND I have placed many of my emotions at his feet. That is how I show up my authentic self, genuinely joyful about the love all around me! How yall feeling!? Let's talk about it!

I discuss what God has revealed to me about hiding, hiding who I am in totality. I discuss how I overcorrected and muted an aspect of me that God has truly blessed. He called me into my career field before I knew the word “career”! God is renewing me daily, revealing my blindspots often, I am thankful for revelation. Is there any part of you that has been dimmed and God never told you to do that? He never told me to hide who I am….a believer, great litigator and lover of God’s people. I am thankful that God speaks to me now and I listen. I am no longer wearing a mask! I am giving my full self to all and I encourage you all to do the same!

I am in an intentional space of my life where I desire all the wisdom that I can get on all things I lack knowledge in! I desire marriage, not a romanticized marriage, not a fairytale, but an actual kingdom marriage. So I joined a community of married folks at my church! I discuss my hesitations, my fears, and thoughts that I wouldn't be accepted yet I pushed through and will get what I need! I hope this episode encourages you to get what you need! Do you believe men and women can actually be friends? I share my opinion and how I used to think we couldn't be friends and how I overcorrected once I begin to focus on my faith. I did not allow God to be present with me in assessing the friendships with men, instead I focused on my basic understanding of what can he do for me.....romance only! I am thankful God is revealing the importance of men in my life. My prayer is this episode will open your mind and desire to surrender this topic to God. As I said.....I have too many homegirls lol. I need men in my life! That's it, that's all!

Welcome back yall!! What about yo friends!? It’s giving hard work! On this episode, we dive into establishing and maintaining friendships as an adult. It aint easy! I 100% pushed away the possibility of developing new relationships out of fear and masked it as….no new friends. I am talking about the process of accepting I needed friends who were like minded and able to hold me accountable and that I needed to show myself friendly and open to begin to develop strong substantive friendships. It hasn’t been easy and it has required me to speak up, slow down, accept and take the time to learn new people. I also touch briefly about men and women friendships and how I believe it is needed….but we will go deeper into that topic in another episode! Are you open to new friendships? I am talking about what it means to go through the dating process with God, it how important it is to let Him lead. Three things to takeaways: (1) Light is Attractive (2) Know who you are in Christ (3)You gotta do the work. Dating with God being the driver has helped me understand that light is attractive and all people are want to feel the love of God, so don’t play with God’s sons and daughters. Use Wisdom! It is imperative to know who you are in Christ so that you go into the process with confidence! Lastly, work! Get to know yourself, be honest with God about your triggers and what is showing up for you in the process. Let Him read you as you are working through the process of being in relationship with others. What can you relate to in this week’s episode? I would love to hear your thoughts.

On this episode, I am talking about the impact dating without God and doing and deciding who should be in my life in my own strength. I made decisions about dating without the wisdom of anyone, but I cannot say I knew to seek wisdom from anyone. I discuss the relationships I entered into without God over the years, the revelations after the relationships about myself, and the decisions I made based on dating without my fathers. I get a little vulnerable about the impact of life without my fathers and what it meant to finally release and let God be God as my Heavenly Father.

Feelings are great indicators but they are not meant to lead our actions. But, how does one feel without letting the feels lead our actions!? Let’s talk about my personal journey of first acknowledging that I actually have a plethora of feelings and it is okay to admit I am angry, second how I welcomed God into assessing my feelings and no longer avoiding my feelings. Lastly, just how important it is to hold both things our feelings and what is actually fact. God is the best counselor! He will lead us! ✨💙👩🏾‍⚖️

Hey yall! Welcome back! On this episode we are talking about loving people well! We all know people gon’ people! We are in this broken world and with that comes difficult people! What does God call us to do when people don’t know how to act!? When the world tells you to pop off and put them in their place, what does God say!? Dealing with people is not easy but loving people well can be easier when we are led by the Spirit! He has equipped us to love all people well. He loved us first and forgave us when we were and are of those “people”. He will fight for you! (Exodus 14:14) There is so much strength in loving people well! He will fight for you, You are his billboard (Genesis 1:27)!

I personally have searched for Him in accomplishments, relationships, alcohol, playing "church", playing "good", etc. until I came to the end of myself! Emptiness brought me to the feet of Jesus, I decided I no longer wanted to die inside due to lack of truly knowing God (Hosea 4:6).
