This film sees insurance investigator, John Trent (played by Sam Neil) as he investigates the disappearance of horror author Sutter Caine...a writer who has the ability to bring what he writes about to life...as the lines between truth and fiction, fantasy and reality begin to blur, Trent begins to lose his grip on his own sanity!
