I Chose to Help Rather Than Judge

Kevin V. Wilson isn't the typical guy you meet every day. He's also not a typical guest for my podcast - but when I first met him and heard him speak (his first time from the stage), his story captivated most of us in the audience. He's natural. I know I needed to hear more of that story, and I know it will inspire many who listen. That's why today's guest is a former Army Ranger, now dedicated coach and speaker who at this time of his life answered his calling to guide fellow men on a transformative journey of personal and spiritual growth. Interestingly enough, he said he felt like we had an unspoken understanding - although we never met, and our backgrounds couldn't be more different. I agree that we meet people in our lives for a reason. I've been blessed to be led to meet so many wonderful people and get to feature their stories here! We talked about everything from personal values, perseverance, role models, and Christian faith, to what it means to stretch men near the limit (or beyond). We talked about why some men feel lost and have nowhere to turn for help. We even talked about what Kevin's biggest fear would be. If you noticed, I like to pick something GOOD that the guest said as a title of the episode. I had a hard time choosing this time! Here are just a few of the best of Kevin's pearls of wisdom I captured from our conversation: The journey may not be just about you We're the most selfish when we're young You can't hit what you can't see There is nothing more attractive to me than authenticity 3 days in (the military) - if you told any of us that we could leave, none of us would have stayed When your mind starts playing games with you I want to be there to help When life is all about you, you're miserable  It's OK to be where you are but it's not OK to stay there Life is much better lived when it's not based on what's going on around us, but it's based on what's going on inside of us See what I mean? Any one of those would make a great title. Which one would you pick?  WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did interviewing Kevin. I’m Not in The Business to Change Your Eye Color

It is not every day you have the opportunity to sit down with some of the most successful business leaders not just in the company you're part of, but also in the entire industry. I'm talking to the one and only, Alan Noble - a Man of Noble Purpose. Born in Ireland, he found his calling pretty early in his life, but his final destination only after experiencing the good, bad, and the ugly first. Despite that, he was able to go to the heights that only a few can climb. Building a successful business around the globe with integrity and his own definition of business - Alan is now helping others to achieve the same. He created devoted followers who'd love to follow in his footsteps. Tonight, he's sharing his lessons learned and beliefs that became his SECRETS to success. Although we talked a lot about his own personal life, this became a masterclass on building the right business for the right reasons. We talked about His growing up in Belfast, Ireland What decisions he made early on about his beloved music  How teaching 60+ kids to play flute made him appreciate entrepreneurial life What years of study and even a Finance Masters Degree at some of the most prominent International finance schools in Ireland and the UK never taught him about wealth Small book that changed his life and made him appreciate one business model to create true wealth  Why his confidence was never shaken by disbelievers  What is one of his key values and what he can't stand Why he never lost his love for the concept, even after bad experiences with certain players in the industry What he calls franchising for the little guy - yet with rewards greater than any franchise could ever offer you Why he walked away from the business for 8 years and what pulled him back with absolute certainty Which 2 requirements he had to find the right company to partner with Why did he look for a solo voice rising above the crowded choir What convinced him that he found his home - and checked both boxes for him How he was able to significantly change his father's negative health prognosis  Why he doesn't waste his time trying to change someone's philosophy and what he does instead Why despite millions earned, he believes he isn't a salesman and doesn't have a sales bone in his body What's the difference between VICTIM and VICTOR How he still caught himself to have limited money beliefs, even after being super successful and earning high-income  Why he believes that  "What you have is a direct result of WHO YOU ARE" What's his biggest joy today and what he strives to achieve What is the most important lesson he learned about himself in the process? Some of the best quotes from Alan's masterclass on wealth building:"Finding the right company is like dating – you have got to kiss a few frogs before you find your princess" “They’re not teaching me how to become wealthy – they’re teaching me how to look after other people’s wealth. Yet this little book is teaching me certainly not the only pathway, but a pretty exciting and simple pathway to become wealthy.”   "It’s OK if people don’t buy my story, I’m not here to change people’s eye color. I said it three times already – but I’m not buying their story.  I know what I know." "A lot of people come to this business thinking that their job is convincing people and selling. That gave this industry a bad reputation."   "Our business is so simple my 12-year-old can do it. The only thing that would stop her would be – is she emotionally mature enough to succeed. And I'm afraid she is!"Alan Noble is the founding Diamond of ASEAAmbassador Double DiamondThe 10 million dollars Earners ClubGlobal Advisory Counsel 2020 Inductee of The Network Marketing Pro Hall of Fame   WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE If you enjoyed this episode, please SUBSCRIBE to my channel so you don't miss another inspirational story like this. Cindy Buck is a former ski instructor, turned corporate National Sales manager, now Tripple Diamond Executive, and a global leader, building organizations all around the globe.   Growing up in Aspen, Colorado she taught skiing. Commercial opportunities taught her for the first time about the power of residual income and put her through college!  When she entered the corporate world – she went from receptionist to national sales manager  What happened when she got pregnant   "If I was going to work for anybody, as hard as I work, with the ethics I work with – that I was going to work for no other person but for myself. He was making great money but worked really hard with no quality of life.  * What were her criteria when investigating a company she would partner with?  "You can have the best product on the face of the Earth but if it’s in the hands of the wrong people, you’re in big trouble"   * How they went from - is this good enough for us – to OMG are we good enough for this?  * How she works with her inner guidance   * How long did it take her to replace her husband's income  - what happened when he didn't keep his end of the bargain    " Money doesn’t matter until you don’t have it and then it’s all you think about. Doctor Thought He Had The Wrong X-Ray

This episode started completely spontaneously. Originally, we have gotten together with Jeanette Chambers to record her testimonial for wholly different purposes. But once we got into talking, Jeannette, who has an MBA in Healthcare and works for the University of Rochester Medical Center, Informatics team, offered such an electric and touching story, we decided on the spot to leave it whole and use it as another inspirational episode for this podcast. We touched on her life-defining moments, about a decade ago when she had no idea what to do next; when her life as she knew it shattered into little pieces and she was left to pick them up with children, no job, and no direction or confidence to keep going. Something many of us can relate to. Not everyone is immediately transformed into heroes. Many of us, facing serious difficulties, lose our will, power, confidence, and sense of direction first. When your entire life changes, it takes a lot of adjusting to figure out what's next, especially when you're in your mid-fifties, and haven't been in the workforce for a while raising children. We can secretly think "Snap out of it" but you and I know it's not always the option. What happened to her then, what brought her slowly out of that dark period and shell, what it took, and what made her the person she is - we touched on all of it. Today, Jeannette is a successful, confident woman, and mother to 3 fabulous children who live in Los Angeles, Buffalo, and Tel Aviv (Israel). She found her inner strength, and new meaning to life, and now shares it with others. Growth like that makes you relate to people even more. Jeannette loves helping people and sharing with them how to make the most of their lives. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her family as well as building people and teams in her successful business.WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/CDnkuCh-II8       Disclaimer: Any opinions stated on this podcast are meant for information only. I Knew I Was More Important Than The Life I Was Wasting

In today's quite emotional episode, I had the pleasure of meeting Janet Butts - and we talked about overcoming trauma, redefining it for herself, and turning it into a new life purpose.  Janet is a founder of J and E Enterprises of Charlotte and Comma period Publishing and produced her JanetB TV. After a life-altering moment in 2017, she instantly became an amputee in a devastating car accident that claimed her left hand. Janet's story is not just a tale of survival but a testament to resilience and what can happen when you redefine the narrative. She became a motivational keynote speaker, a dedicated trauma recovery coach, and the author of a book named, "I May Not Be Michelle Obama, But D*ammit, I Turned Out All Right"We talked about: - what she faced during her school years that she didn't understand - what her music teacher taught her - what she carried with her for 2 decades that became her lifestyle - what she decided one night watching over her little daughter sleeping, and never looked back - what she believed in her worst moments - what decision she was faced to make when learning about her new disability  - how she came to her senses that she needs to be resilient over the circumstances - what she never let anybody do for her" Our trauma is a snapshot of the big picture" " It’s OK to be OK, it’s great to be all right. It’s phenomenal to be whole." Why Diets Don’t Serve Us

Welcome to the first episode of the year 2024  (although I said episode #2 on the recording). My apologies, technology gave me a hard time first weeks of the New Year. All is well now :)In this episode, I was excited to interview a first-time mom, a charming Casey Weiss, a certified holistic nutritionist and life coach. Casey founded her company YOUR CASE FOR WELLNESS to help women get out of the diet spiral to finally both feel and look their best and healthiest. I never met one person in my life who didn't experiment with different diets at least once - did you?So when you find someone who has a refreshing, healthy approach to the "never-ending issue of weight loss", I was eager to get her on the podcast.  Even if you already know that temporary diets aren't the permanent answer, or are a queen of meal prep, I promise you will learn new things. It's worth listening to what Casey, who started with eating disorders and devoted her career to preventing that from happening to others, has to say. We both shared values about the right way to optimize health, wellness, and even the path to longevity. We talked about: How one innocent remark can trigger years of eating disorder Why weight loss is not the only indicator of overall health What to do when you’re at war with your body What’s intuitive eating What’s the most underrated style of meal prep when you’re super busy How to manage expectations How to set up your kids for healthy relationships with food later on WHY diets don’t serve us How is It’s never too late to start feeling great in your skinAnd much more! Casey threw plenty of lightbulb moments in this episode. If you like to reach out to CASEY, here are her best contacts: LINKEDIN   https://www.linkedin.com/in/caseyweiss/      WEBSITE     https://linktr.ee/yourcaseforwellnessFACEBOOK  https://www.facebook.com/groups/dietfreeholistichealthWATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE:  If you enjoyed this episode, please SUBSCRIBE to my channel so you don't miss other inspirational stories like this. If I Go To Work Tomorrow And I Don’t Come Home, Is This How I Want My Life To End?

Have you ever had a business that runs you instead of the other way around? The type of business where you’re always busy, stressing out, neglecting family and friends … but get hardly anything to show for? Do you blame yourself, judge, feel ashamed, and dread the question “So how is your little business going?” BTW, have you ever heard anybody asking a man about his “little business”?Those of us who started our business did so to create personal freedom and do what we love. And then, somehow, we end up doing everything BUT what we love. Or, are you afraid to expand because you worry that you will have even less time and more stress? If any of this sounds familiar, you may want to listen really carefully to this episode! We had a powerful discussion with an excellent business coach Melissa Kellogg Lueck. Her career and mission in life is to surround female entrepreneurs with all the community, teaching, coaching, and services they need to create the business and impact they desire. Why?Because she believes that any woman is capable of creating financial freedom through entrepreneurship! And of course, we talked about that in depth. Melissa is also a podcaster (her podcast is called Doing Business Like a Woman – love that!), she speaks, coaches, plays women’s ice hockey and most importantly, she’s a mom and wife. So the idea to create a business of your dreams while not destroying your health or relationships in the process is one of the biggest reasons why she loves what she does.We talked about what gets her out of bed every morning what’s on her radar right now how did her life change in recent years When she started taking her health and longevity seriously and why How experimenting with her own body helps her see where she can influence things naturally What’s important in her life How she first got her entrepreneurial bug as a teenager How 9/11 shifted a lot in her mind and approach to life Why she needed to simplify AND make more and how she can help you to do the same Why the greatest marketing wouldn't work if you’re missing this one thing How her mother's and grandmother's example didn’t sit well with her sense of financial freedomHow having your own business can be really lonely Why does she think life is 50-50 to all of us and how to work with that perspective What can make you one in a billion business....and much more about her interesting life journey plus some practical steps everyone can take to start their successful journey Quote she always remembered:"Don’t seek advice from people who have not been where you want to go"Melissa Kellogg: "Every dollar I make represents a woman I have helped to make her own money and financial freedom"If you enjoyed this episode, please subscribe, share, comment, and rate (Google likes these things to push us up in the rank)... thank you!!!!Get in touch with MelissaLINKEDIN https://www.linkedin.com/in/melissamkellogg/ FACEBOOK https://www.facebook.com/m.kellogg.lueck/ WEBSITE https://www.melissamkellogg.com/ YOUTUBE https://www.youtube.com/@businessacademyforwomen INSTAGRAM https://www.instagram.com/melissa_m_kellogg/ PODCAST https://www.third-chances.com/ Stay connected: Website: https://www.third-chances.com/PODCAST https://www.third-chances.com/podcasts/third-chancesYOUTUBE: https://www.youtube.com/@veraczerny698INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/vera_czerny/FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/VeraCzerny Disclaimer: Any opinions stated on this podcast are meant for information only. The Best Way To Serve People Is To Serve People

In this episode, we spoke with Thomas Mallory Hill, Ed. D., a former accountant and headhunter who learned the hard way what “draw” means ... and turned teacher and eventually became a principal. After decades of public education service and praying for an increase in earnings during the summer vacation season, Thomas started a whole new career, first as a part-time hustle, and recently as a full-time business. Being open-minded, when he was faced with health challenges, he started researching alternatives - and was invited by (then) a stranger, Phyllis Bond from LinkedIn to listen to a broadcast about redox cell signaling molecules. Today, he calls this a gift from a stranger. I guess we touched on everything "forbidden" - religion, politics, and race, in this talk show. I believe everyone can have a great conversation like this - when two people involved, although with totally different backgrounds, actually listen to each other and relate. We spoke about how: Everything he has today, he attributes to his father We don’t even realize how we impact other people  His growing up in Chicago and what his dad instilled in him  his high school coach  to love people and care for people How and why he got into teaching  How, once his body started falling apart, he started taking care of his health more How he went from 345lbs to 238lbs, went from size 52 to 38 in a few months, and his glucose numbers were so good that he was asked to teach classes at the hospital for diabetic education He credits the recommended book, Wheat Belly: Lose the Wheat, Lose the Weight, and Find Your Path Back to Health ...by Dr. William Davis  What it means to gain financial dignity back, and what is possible when you do, how you can serve others, and make a real impact  What’s his mission today what he is attracted to the most, and what gets him out of bed   “It doesn’t matter where we come from; we’re all human beings,” Thomas Mallory Hill If you enjoyed this episode, please SUBSCRIBE  so you don't miss other inspirational stories like this! What Is Death Doula And Why We All Should Have One

Is there anything more taboo in today’s fast-paced world than a conversation about the end of life? Yet it's one of the random “certainties“ we all share. In today's episode, we talk with Jill McClennen, an End of Life Coach or Death Doula, and what it even means. If you never heard of such a thing, you're not alone! She founded her business called,  End of Life Clarity to provide valuable support to people facing the end-of-life reality - either those who're preparing for the end of their own life or those who need to become an end-of-life caregiver to a loved one.  We talked openly about  Why she didn't become a brain surgeon What it meant for her to become a full-time caregiver (unprepared) while running her demanding business and being a mom to 6 month old... What questions do you need to know to ask to avoid a lot of issues and stress Who may want to hire Death Doula and when is the right time What kind of support can she provide and how it help to make the  process much less stressful - and even enjoyable sharing the last  moments with the loved one on a whole different level Be assured this is not all gloom and doom an episode! Jill is very personable and a joy to speak with. And although I’m all about longevity, the best quality of life possible, and keeping positive in optimal shape, I also have a personal experience of how it looks like when things are not arranged, prepared, or even discussed, and you're faced with sudden reality. This theme may not be popular, but inevitable. I believe it's an important subject to talk about openly, and be aware of what options we have out there when we face the situation no one wants to face. Jill is an incredibly interesting person to meet and learn from, and she shares several lightbulb moments in this episode so I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did!"Caregiving at the end of life involves much more than the daily hands-on tasks of helping someone who is terminally ill or actively dying. There are times when it can feel overwhelming and confusing. When you are an end-of-life caregiver you are providing emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical support for someone that you love at the end of their life. Being a caregiver for your loved one can be very fulfilling but it can be hard to take care of our own emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical needs. In this journal, I have provided information about what being a caregiver is, information about self-care, and journal prompts to help guide you through this journey. You may want to have a blank journal or a document on your computer to write more than the amount of space provided. Find The Magic In Your Tired Old Romance

In this episode, I had the fantastic opportunity to interview a one-of-a-kind Relationship coach, Geraldine Murphy. Geraldine lives with her husband and 2 boys in the U.K. As is typical for most Brits, (excuse me, Irish), there was lots of sarcasm, laughter, and fun during our conversation. You can judge by the title (which is also the name of a free event at the end of November that Geraldine would like to invite you to), she's not your typical serious coach you're hesitant to approach. Humor helped her in the most awkward situations, such as being dumped by her husband when he "suddenly discovered" he was gay just a few months after their wedding - and guess what that did with her confidence at 26 (!!!), or during her dad's funeral, or when deciding if the second wedding is worth the investment. She’s a relationship coach who helps women and couples uncover the Magic in their relationship with their partner. "I have done this myself with my husband and found it’s much more fun to make a struggling relationship work than to get divorced (which I’ve also done!)"   Geraldine Murphy I hope you find this episode entertaining, and inspiring, even if you don't currently deal with any of the marital issues that may need some attention. And if you do, see if someone like Geraldine may be just that right medicine that will help you reignite that spark! Turning a Worse Case Scenario Into a Stunning Victory….

Did you ever feel like you're too old for something? Did you say to yourself "Oh well, that train left the station a long time ago?" Meet Donnellyn Dominguez ... who just earned the 2023 "Business Builder of the Year" award in her 70ties! Without being efficient with computers (she even ignores emails!) She finished her midwifery training in her fifties (!), was the only grandmother in her class, and had become the owner of a successful birthing center for 10 years, the largest in the state of Texas. At the age others are preparing for retirement, she was on the call 24/7, fulfilling a dream she never thought possible. But things changed drastically when she was informed about diagnoses nobody ever wanted to hear. When it came around for the 2nd time, she was given 8-13 months to live... After her doctor's protocol was finished, with insanely expensive treatment (north of $100K a month), she then spent another $20,000 on other natural alternatives to regain her health. None returned positive results.Being a positive person, she refused the gloomy prognoses but was losing hope quickly. We talked about what she did next, what it took, and how her amazing life story finally turned around. Don't miss this one!!! Donnellyn is one of those people who has such a warmth around her you feel like her heart is right in the palm of her hand, as she extends it to you for a handshake. I'm so blessed to be able to meet people like her in my orbit and get the privilege to share her incredible, inspiring story with others. Please let me know if you feel the same way after you get to know her. And fair warning - you may need a box of tissues for this one... We talked about:  How she became a midwife and why  How her center became one of the largest successful birth centers in the State of Texas  What stopped her in 2017 and what happened next   How she pushed through it keeping working, because she couldn’t afford to lose her clients  How she hid it from anybody because she didn’t want to put more burden on anyone around her  One moment that nearly cost her life  How she refused to give up and accept doom prognoses What shape she was in after the doctor’s protocol was completed  What finally made the difference How she eventually gave in despite her skepticism, kicking and screaming, just trying to prove someone wrong How grateful she is today, she did  How, surprisingly, her new business was born How every dark, hard time you overcome, will become the story that gives others hope Donnelyn was approached by an Asea associate during a significant health challenge in 2017. She sold her birth center at the end of 2020 and has been sharing this technology full-time ever since. She is on the (volunteer) Medical Professional Board of the company, achieved an impressive Triple Diamond rank, and was recently named the Global Business Builder of the Year. I Never Had That Fear Of Failing In Me - But This Time I Have Lost All Hope

Did you ever feel that someone's resume is long enough for several lifetimes? I did when I first saw today's guest, Leland Duyck’s achievements – and in his 70s, he is nowhere near done yet! His secret to this successful approach to life: When we were kids, If we wanted something, we worked for it. So when I saw something, I wasn’t afraid to try. I never had that fear of failing. If he ever ran into an issue or complained, his dad would say: “Just put your big boy's pants on and get it over with!” It’s humbling to meet someone so incredibly successful, yet remaining a modest and generous human being. And, when you listen to his story, his life story was far from a smooth ride. But with his work ethic, faith, determination, and great dad’s lessons (he instilled discipline and toughness into his children), Leland not only survived but went to the top numerous times throughout his professional career. This was an incredibly moving episode – and I challenge you to listen to the whole thing without reaching for a box of tissues! I had a hard time editing this episode with my eyes focused. We spoke about How doing his summer job led to a serious injury that almost killed his dreams of being a professional athlete What piqued his interest in orthopedic surgery so he became an Orthopedic Surgical Physician Assistant How he became an entrepreneur developing orthopedic braces for doctors and even pro-athletes all the way to Olympic teams – better than what he saw on the market Why he never had the fear of failing How he owned, founded, or co-partnered in multiple successful businesses that eventually sold The one morning that brought him to his knees What was going through his mind while trying to push through it all How he lost all hope  How he learned the very hard way that despite having successful businesses, his health was his biggest asset How many businesses he still runs today, at the age of 70 on top of owning and operating a 450-acre Cattle Ranch he has owned since 1994 Leland Duyck is a former Orthopedic Surgical Physician Assistant, Founder/Co-Owner of a retail chain of back stores, and a Global DME/Orthopedic Sports Medicine Distribution Company for 21 years. He was also a Partner and Executive Director of Sales for 2 separate Global Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Manufacturing Facilities that were each built for 10-year stints and then sold. That is on top of his Cattle ranch that he operates alone, aside from a seasonal help he may hire for projects. At the age when others prepare for retirement, he shifted his attention to a groundbreaking technology that gave him his life back and is now a Global leader, Motivator, and Educator in the Redox Technology Field. Leland became an ASEA Triple Diamond Executive in a record 14 months. That might be the fastest achievement in the history of the company. He has earned several awards since and entered an ASEA Millionaire Earners Club.WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBEIf you want to get in touch with Leland Duyck, please contact him via me or on FB messengerFor more info visit: www.lifewithredox.comFor Personal consultation text "YouTube" to Vera on WhatsApp: +1 203-558-6213.START YOUR BUSINESS TODAY: https://fluid.app/s/fbbd6a Disclaimer:Any opinions stated on this podcast are meant for information only. When I Lost My Health, I Felt Defeated. Now I Want To Live Till 150!

Tonight's interview is with a special man, Dan Doyle, one of my biggest inspirations. I'm so grateful to have the privilege to finally meet him in person last week in Dallas - and now to interview him on my upcoming podcast episode of Third Chances. His stunning story is the main reason why I do what I do today. His determination, and open mind to try anything and not to give up, brought him literally back to life. Imagine being an insanely successful businessman – a professional athlete, a competing bodybuilder, running and selling multiple businesses within 20 years. Only to be brought to your knees suddenly, by completely unexpected a challenge. Imagine doing everything right, listening to your doctors, 2 and a half years of hospital visits, only to be told to get your affairs in order! What do you do when all else fails? His story hits close to my heart - because as many of you know, we were in this situation with my husband, about 2.5 years ago. Tragically, we didn't find the solution fast enough, and I lost him in a short period of time. I always wonder - if I knew about this then, would this have made a difference for my husband? Today Dan says, “I live my every day now as if it was my last one” He was very open about his journey and we talked about: His love (or escape) for sports, and bodybuilding, and how he ended up competing professionally How did he get in the best shape of his life despite not so perfect diet? Why was his father disappointed in him? How did he enter the business world and become a go-getter How did he become an insanely successful businessman after dropping out of school What happened that stopped it all? What was the result of 2.5 years of going through hell? What was the trigger to change his ways How he reached out to a space he was completely dismissive of before How did taking charge of his well-being lead to bankruptcy 2 years later What finally made a difference Where is he today and why he wants to live till 150  What he brought from business and sport to become the best at what he’s doing? “Have you ever been called a legend? What’s a legend? It’s an ordinary person who has done extraordinary things!” Dan Doyle Not only is he now a vital, healthy, young man, he's achieved what he would never have imagined in his wildest dreams, just a decade ago. Dan Doyle is ASEA PRESIDENTIAL DIAMOND ASEA 2018 Million Dollar Earners Club ASEA 2017 Business Builder Award ASEA 2017 Entrepreneurial Spirit Award ASEA 2016 Emerging Leader of the YearWATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE For more info visit: www.lifewithredox.comFor Personal consultation text "YouTube" to Vera on WhatsApp: +1 203-558-6213.START YOUR BUSINESS TODAY: https://fluid.app/s/fbbd6a Disclaimer:Any opinions stated on this podcast are meant for information only. Let's Not Get Fooled By Our Limited Perspective - It Shapes Everything

What if we say things we casually say to ourselves to our best friends? How would our life shaped if we stayed in one place, surrounded by the limited experiences of our closest people of our youth? How opening your mind just a little bit affects absolutely everything you try to do. Why am I trying to unclog a toilet instead of recording a podcast? Have you ever asked yourself any of these questions? Maybe except for the last one.... :This and some more I talk about in this episode :)

Say Unapologetically YES to YOU

Today I have a really inspiring and uplifting conversation with Chicago native Claudia Braun, who helps women (notorical people pleasers), to finally say Unapologetically YES to themselves. What a concept! Aren't we all?? Claudia uses yoga, tapping, and other powerful tools to coach and help women overcome what stays in their way, and finally make changes in their lives that lead to healthier, happier, and more fulfilled paths. Here are some points we talked about - and more:    How reaction to medication started her path on her self-healing journey How it led to her passion for working with women who are really great caregivers but not good at taking care of themselves How do you know that what you’re doing isn’t working When you get to the point of: I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired How we turn ourselves inside out to be what someone else wants us to be How pain is a great motivator How we hold emotions in our body that create physical conditions leading to dis-ease How disconnected from our own body we really are What it takes to start making changes you were not able to make How it is a journey with twists and turns What does it mean when you make the commitment to yourself How belief creates an experience How replaying the same drama, you say you don’t want, gets you locked in that story and unable to step out Why loving yourself just the way you are is often the hardest thing How every time you let go of something, you reap benefits How giving yourself a pause could be one of the kindness things you can do for yourself What simple little steps you can take today on your healing journey Some of the best  Claudia's quotes that stood out for me from our conversation: “It’s the most selfish thing not to take care of yourself – because eventually somebody else has to” "When we decide to prioritize ourselves, then we have way more to give, we’re way more fun to be around because a stressed-out, anxious person is not that fun to be around!" “Selfgrowth path is very patient. All we have to do is start. You make small incremental changes and that will change your life.”WATCH THE EPISODE ON YOUTUBEIf you resonated with Claudia and her work, please connect with her:LINKEDIN      WEBSITE     FACEBOOK     YOUTUBE     INSTAGRAM     TWITTER Claudia invites us to her 10-week group: Inner Circle Reconnect to Spirit, and Unapologetically Prioritize YOU  Her gift to our audience is a free meditation for stressful times to have a clear path to move beyond their inner discord to be able to feel inner peace and flourish. Opinion or Empathy?

I planned a different show for today but then, I had a little exchange with someone on social media. Not really a troll (as we know them) but nevertheless he got me thinking. What is driving people to express their enormous displeasure or disagreement with someone else, on their OWN FB platform?  Why do they have a need to challenge everything someone says as their own truth is different? Why even after multiple kind attempts to respect his opinion, he goes on and on, with the need to mock and ridicule the other opinion because just HIS opinion is the right one?  The reason I felt compelled to address it here is that it wasn't even about my own opinion. It was about a friend's post, one I respect and admire. Unlike the guy who nobody knows, she has the credentials and expertise to be talking about the subject. When does different opinion stop - and disrespect begins? Why someone who claims to have achieved "inner peace" is compelled to argue on a public platform with no end? If he really did, I don't believe that exchange would be the same.Yes, I got involved, in part to support my friend and her very kind and innocent post. It's a short episode, but one that's like a social experiment, addressing an exchange of opinions and how we may or may not have open minds about different perspectives of others.I would love it if you reach out and give me your own take on this. I would love to know what you think! Please reach out at [email protected] with the subject line Podcast. I will read and reply to every comment! Live Without Limits

Tonight we're talking about life without limits. What does it mean to you, what do you feel you're limited with right now, and what can we do to change that? What's holding you back the most - the health, the finances, or the most valuable real estate between your ears? What's preventing you from living your best possible life? I'm talking about 7 human needs - we all have all those, but each of us has one much more important than another. I talk about finding out your most important human need to understand why you do certain things, what you respond to, how you can have that pressing need met, and what drives you. I don't want to waste another minute. Life is too precious. I'm inviting fellow widows to our support circle Vera's Triumph Club where we are for each other, helping every one of us not just get through the difficulties but grow into our best selves. Every month we have another lesson that helps us cope with the most present issues to move us forward. No one can have a better, deeper understanding about what you're going through, than another widow. No need to do it alone. Pain is inevitable, but the suffering is optional. Reach out and schedule a talk with me. Let's chat if we're the right crowd for you that can support you on your own journey!Let's schedule a time to have a coffee together:

None of Us is Getting Out of Here Alive W-series

In today's episode meet Patricia Ann, a self-proclaimed life-adventurer who has roller-coastered through the highs and lows, even tangoing with the unexpected! From conquering challenges to facing the knockout punch of losing her husband, she's the master of bouncing back. Patricia shares her journey from rock bottom to triumphant recovery, all sprinkled with her unique humor and wisdom. So get ready for a rollercoaster of emotions and inspiration! This is the first but not the last time we will be getting to know Patricia Ann. I want to talk to her about her amazing numerology talent - and trust me, you would like to know as well! The way she prepared a profile on me based on my numbers was mind-boggling! It went into such detail, I have never seen anything like that. But I will leave that for another episode in the future, today we spoke about: her mom’s many pearls of wisdom, among others: “You were issued this suit. Wear it and wear it proudly!”  what were her first lessons about being “different”  what was she fascinated by as a kid the multiple reinventions she went through  what followed after she lost her husband "I had to figure out how to get to “happy" When was she able to say to herself: “Wow, you’re pretty resilient!” How she used all her rich experience to help others today. We encountered several technical issues during the recording, mainly because of a poor internet connection and low bandwidth on the other side. That's why this episode is audio only, sadly despite the hours of effort, I could not save the video. I hope you enjoy our conversation!

There Is No Comeback Without a Setback

Tonight’s show is special in many ways. How often do you get to talk to a member of a multi-million dollar club, that is completely open, humble, and ready to extend a helping hand to anybody? Who lives his purpose, building the legacy and impact most of us would only dream of? Ed Wiens built a global business (likely a few times), lost it all, and built again. I had the privilege to meet Ed Wiens a few times in person, and every time he spoke from the stage, he captivated the room. He masters the art of influencing people with stories and good reframing. He knows it stays with the audience much better than dry facts and figures. It sure does. Every story he ever told, stuck with me. And since he’s a son of missionary parents, and he followed in their footsteps, it offers some explanation about his character and honor. Before we started recording, I asked if there was anything off-limits – and he assured me that he was an open book. I truly appreciate it because every time I’m around him, I know I’m going to learn something valuable. I hope you will feel the same way after listening to our conversation. We spoke about: His childhood in Peru, and Alaska with missionary parents How it felt natural as a calling to follow in their footsteps How he soon realized that’s important to pay attention to life and its purpose How he found a way to fund his missions and support causes important to him and became wealthy What he says about those who say “ the money is the root of all evil” How his work and every dollar earned affect others What does it require to be a high-ranked and multi-million-dollar club member and what skills he can use from the ministry How he and his wife Rebekah found themselves naturally in the service When he was first exposed to network marketing and why he believes it’s the noblest of professions What trifecta of events did he overcome at some point in his life when just one of those things could have broken a man and what helped him through How we all love comeback stories – and how comeback always involves setbacks How we’re tested on our principles in times of difficulties How important is a positive mindset How he dealt with his loss and how it led to a new happy life chapter What’s his belief system How you can become successful beyond your wildest dreams if you put enough effort into it What is important to know and evaluate How important it is to be a dreamer Why he’s focused on legacy at this point in his lifeThe best quotes worth noting:   You see the glory, but you don’t know the story When you go through hell, don’t stop!  There is no comeback without a setback Never doubt your beliefs, and never believe your doubtsThe book Mr. Wiens recommended that influenced his life is now out of print but possibly you can get it on Amazon – The Ten Best-kept Secrets of Total Success Seeds of Greatness by Denis WaitleyWatch the episode on YOUTUBEFor more info visit: www.lifewithredox.com For Personal consultation text "YouTube" to Vera on WhatsApp: +1 203-558-6213.START YOUR BUSINESS TODAY: https://fluid.app/s/fbbd6a

It's Time - The Story Of Reinvention Part 2

These 2 episodes were a long time coming. I realized I still owe you my own Reinvention story to share and this is the 2nd part. If you didn't catch the beginning, please go to episode 19 first, so you get to context and full scope... What shaped my life the way it is today, and what shaped me into the woman I am today? Yes, I walked a long, long way since my life in a small village in the Czech Republic. My parents never left the country, never saw an ocean, never owned a passport, and never saw anything else than the small neighborhood they were born in. In that sense, I guess I did better. I gained perspective, learned to live in other countries, learned new languages, experienced remarkable experiences, and achieved what would be unimaginable to them. Each of us has plenty of defining moments throughout our lives. I call them intersections - those that require a decision about which is the right path next. Some of these decisions we may face almost daily – but a few are major, and they will shape our lives going forward. I chose 5 major shifts that forced me to reinvent whatever I knew to be true, change a course, and adapt to the cards I was dealt with. I'm grateful for those moments now, but there were times when it was hard to imagine I would survive them. We all come to situations when we need to remind ourselves of those strong moments in our history. Especially when facing something hard, when you feel like the world is coming down on you, you're bearing all the weight, when you can't make a decision or move on. It pays to stop, sit back, and remind yourself that YES - there were super hard moments in your life before. And not only you survived it, but you also turned it around, and found the strength to change course. And you're likely a better person for it. It will remind you of your power and influence. That's the whole reason I do this podcast - sharing stories that turned someone's life upside down - and what seemed like an impossible obstacle turned into a great new opportunity. Today I'm sharing the remaining 3 key moments from my life (at least so far). The last one is still the hardest to adapt. I'm being an open book - no filter, emotions and all. I hope it will serve you to remember who you once were, and what you accomplished. That should always be the only reason for looking back. Tune in tonight, and let me know what you think. If you feel inspired, please share this episode with someone who may need to hear it! I will be really grateful if you leave a review - it helps to move this podcast up in the charts. It's Time - The Story Of Reinvention Part 1

This episode was a long time coming. I realized I still owe you my own Reinvention story to share (or at least the first part of it today). What shaped my life the way it is today, and what influenced me during my life under communism? Nobody told me that failures are part of growth, then. If I failed, I wasn't praised for "trying", I was made aware that I screwed up big time so I better never try again. That was my upbringing. It still occasionally stops me in my tracks. But I walked a long, long way since that time, and far away from the small village in the Czech Republic. We all have those moments that change our direction. Some have a few, some plenty. Some intentional, some unpredictable. How powerful they are when looking back, realizing YOU DID overcome it, something amazing came out of it and your life is better for it. We all come to situations when we need to remind ourselves of those strong moments. Especially when facing something hard, when we feel like the end of the world when we can't make a decision or move on ... it pays to stop, sit back and remind yourself that YES - there were super hard moments in your life before. And not only you survived it, you turned it around, and found the strength to take charge. It will remind you of your power. That's the whole reason I do this podcast - sharing stories that turned someone's life upside down - and what seemed like an impossible obstacle turned into a great new opportunity. Today I'm sharing some key moments from my life. Some that I'm proud of and some that I'm not so proud of. No filter. I believe it serves us all to remember who we once were, and what we accomplished. That should be the only reason for looking back. Tune in tonight, and let me know what you think. I Had That Feeling But I Didn’t Trust It

Our today's guest may seem out of the theme. After all, Nicole Starbuck is a founder of an Auracle Academy, a psychic empath, a quantum energy healer, a spiritual mentor, and a life coach! I think you would agree with me that these things may be a big part of reinventing and a healing process - depending on where you're on the journey. Nicole is empowering people to ignite their intuition and supercharge their psychic skills so that they can make their dreams a reality. As expected, this was another great conversation where we covered - among others:   What happened when she denied the gifts How does one become a psychic and who wasn’t happy about it in her life How could this link to chronic illness, mental health issues, disease, and/or possibly help? How may working with a psychic help you stop second-guessing, dealing with stress and overwhelm, and lead you into life of a freedom and in a flow? How did she deal with her out-of-control state of mind? What did we both share about taking a "shower time"? Nicole generously shared many valuable tips that can help you start on the journey (if you're not ready to reach out for help). Here are some of Nicole's pearls of wisdom: "Most people are asleep (they have chosen to stay asleep) small percentage of people wake up and realize THERE has to be another way!" "We're literally searching for HOME, all of us" "Let me control what I can because I felt so out of control with my emotions" "Feel the fear, do it anyway!"Tune in and share with others if you're so compelled! Being Alive Is Pretty Good

In this episode, we have the rare opportunity to speak with someone who overcame 20 clinical deaths within a short period. Insane, isn't it?? Well, Fred will tell us all about this unique experience: What happened in the summer of 2009 What doctors thought he was suffering with What was really happening and what possibly contributed to it How doctors fixed it (or so he/they thought) How it affected his body and brain What happened 4 years later The attempts to fix it - and what could go wrong Another problem 5 years later Why this time Fred requested full anesthesia What his psychiatrist suggested and why he wrote the book about it What one person wrote as a "testimonial" on his book on Amazon What’s next after years of recovery How he started taking care of his own health and sharing his storyBooks Fred recommended during our talk: Dr. Jason Fung: The Obesity Code Gin Stephens: Fast. Feast. Repeat. - The health plan with the side effect of weight loss Victor Frankl: Man’s search for meaning Quotes by Fred: " If I am going to die, I would rather not know about it" " I was so battered I didn’t understand how battered I was" " Nobody makes money from people fasting" WATCH ON YOUTUBE   The best way to get in touch with Fred: EMAILYOUTUBE       INSTAGRAM      LINKEDIN   FACEBOOK    Find his book on Amazon: The Summer I Died Twenty Times        Disclaimer:Any opinions stated on this podcast are personal opinions of the host or guests and are meant for information only. Fool Me Once, It's On You, Fool Me Twice, It's On Me

In this episode, we had an amazing conversation with the one and only Dr. David Silverman, a retired Foot Surgeon who built a successful private practice and Maryland Certified Ambulatory Surgery Center practice only to soon realize that he was meant for something more in life. More compact, a bigger purpose... As this podcast name Third Chances suggests – Dr. Silverman’s current success wasn’t his first professional choice (although he was a successful doctor). Entering the world of network marketing, a business model that provides more time freedom and greater financial rewards, (a residual income) was also full of obstacles - when you don’t work with honest players. Today Dr. Silverman celebrates more than 20 years in international holistic health education & marketing, sits on the ASEA Medical Professionals Board, and has received multiple awards. The most impressive are the ASEA Ambassador Triple Diamond Executive, the ASEA Mentor of the Year (2017), and the ASEA Business Builder of the Year (2020). But perhaps the most fulfilling of all is becoming a global entrepreneur with thousands of lives impacted all over the world, helping others to achieve better health and better wealth. We'll talk about:What almost happened, and how he changed his "never again" to “third time the charm” how he realized he was psychologically unemployable how he felt he had more potential and wanted to do more how he worked with inventions how he didn’t want to become a father, kids hardly know how he discovered the first company he joined forces with wasn't the right partner what happened next how he started a second time  What almost happened, and how he changed his "never again" to “third time the charm”   “Making money gives you choices – but when you have time freedom and the money, that really gives you a lot of choices.” • What he did do this time, to prevent possible disappointment • What impressed him about the company he joined forces with (and it’s the last) • Why he named this scientific breakthrough a gift for humanity • What it is and how it works • How can you also get involved in the business opportunity • What it took to convince his wife that this one would be a safe haven... and so much more in this fascinating episode of Third Chances “Some people only come to you in crises. I wish they didn’t wait so long” Dr. David Silverman   "In 2010, I properly investigated this health (& anti-aging) breakthrough because my dad was ill. Why will you do so? For you? Or perhaps for someone you love. Someone who may be suffering? If You Told Me I Couldn’t, I Must! I Created My Own Belief System

E

Today I had the privilege to interview Rahz “Motivator” Slaughter – a wonderful friend with a most beautiful smile and personality; a devoted husband, a father, a motivational speaker, a 3X author, and in-demand online parenting and teen life, coach. Despite the physical disability, Rahz was born with, he is also an enthusiastic cyclist and a sought-after personal trainer. I think the name of this podcast episode says it all! We will talk in-depth about:    what it took for him to overcome challenges he was born with (and into) both physically and emotionally who was his biggest inspiration growing up what his grandma told him when he realized even multiple surgeries didn’t help how he found the strength to not give in to limiting beliefs as a child what happened when he moved to Florida and found a bike in his new home’s garage what strength he found in himself helping him deal with difficulties “ People want to be self-made. I’m not self-made, I’m faith made!” What made him start his first gym and become the best in the world and exclusive in his specialty Why March 14th, 2020 felt to him like 9/11 and how he needed to pivot with everything How all this moved him into a new direction and how his unique expertise and experience made him successful and unstoppable – working with teenagers and parents What is the biggest issue with today’s teenagers and their often hopeless parents - and how he could help them become motivated, confident in their own skin and overcome their own limitations, pretty fast How would working with Rahz look like, what his coaching is, and what it isn’t “Most of the kids are seeking someone outside of their parents to actually listen to them and actually hear and feel what they’re going through.” How to deal with issues when parent and child are two different personalities What do his signature BOOM and 3Cs stand for How this important work merges with his personal trainer experience What is his next book about One simple piece of advice for parents of a troubled teenager that they can start implementing right now to get things moving in the right direction The best way to get in touch with Rahz: WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBEWEBSITE          YOUTUBE       INSTAGRAM      LINKEDIN   FACEBOOK    TWITTER Find his books on Amazon:  Student Success Secrets: Unlock The 7 Secrets For Developing Inspired, Motivated, and Success-Driven   Disclaimer:Any opinions stated on this podcast are personal opinions of the host or guests and are meant for information only. The answer is living in your head and in your gut - Why we don’t want to stay in balance

Today’s episode is for fellow amateur scientific nerds - or real ones :)!! If you love learning and discovering new technologies as an early adaptor, you will enjoy a conversation with Dr. Lee Ostler, DDS, a general dentist in Richland, WA. He’s a founder and past president of the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health, a past clinical instructor, and an author of numerous books on oral systemic healthcare. After a significant personal experience with Redox Signaling Molecules, his love for biology and biochemistry kicked in, and he dove deep into research to understand this newest bio-hack and groundbreaking technology – and today he’s helping others understand. Dr. Ostler sits on the Asea Medical Professionals Board (a volunteer position), and wrote two books on cellular health and redox biology – “Redox Matters - Connecting the Dots between Redox Biology and Health” and “Healthy Matters – Applying the Redox Lifestyle”. This series continues with Why It Matters - How to Become Recession Proof in a Gig Economy Be a side-hustle Thousandair and Progress Matters. He also participates in weekly web conversations on ZOOM with other medical and business professionals called ASEA 5 and manages the RedoxMatters.com website. Recordings of all the weekly web calls taking place every Friday on ZOOM can be found in a video section of this website. Today we spoke about how: Although the odds were not favorable, young Lee didn’t have a plan B when decided to become a dentist  He took a stand when early research showed a connection between the health of the mouth and the rest of the body He co-founded The Academy for Oral Systemic Health and became its president As there wasn’t as much material available then, he dove into extensive research and spent time working closely with physicians and fellow dentists, connecting and sharing the new approach Dr. Ostler made the argument that the health of the mouth and our health are connected and wrote several books about oral systemic health How his wife, battling unique health challenges for nearly 4 decades, was recommended to try some Redox as her doctor ran out of options to help her What happened within 48 hours and how it prompted both doctors to pay attention and dive deep into research of Redox Signaling Molecules How he turned into deep research about redox biology, just like he did previously with oral systemic health What triggered writing the book, Redox Matters What’s called the rules of our cells What he noticed when he started taking redox himself When the pandemic hit, what it meant for his practice Inspired by one of the cohosts of ASEA 5, dr. Ostler stepped up the intake of redox and watched what happens How the experimental and academic sides met How the last decades of antioxidants didn’t deliver the full story What he calls interventions Why we don’t want to stay in balance What makes “our inner doctor” stronger, more able, and more capable What’s oxidative stress and how do we bring it on ourselves What is the purpose of the exercise, fasting, phytonutrients, etc. What turns on our cell defenses, and what’s called homeostasis When happens when consistent out-of-balance oxidation persists What happens when we’re more toxic What’s the fuel source for our cell’s mitochondria  “So we have a multibillion-dollar industry that has grown up around this idea of putting out the fire of reducing the oxidants with these available electrons that I can get from vitamins.” What are transcription factors? What’s the Dr. Lee’s answer to someone who asks if it’s going to work for them How different this is to the “drug mindset, the interventions” What’s the concept called redox clean What book is Dr. Ostler working on now What is his biggest WHY What is rule 72 and why it’s an eye opener And so much more in this fascinating episode of Third ChancesYou can get in touch with Dr. Ostler here:WEBSITE           FACEBOOK     YouTubeWATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBEFor more info visit: www.lifewithredox.com For Personal consultation text "YouTube" to Vera on WhatsApp: +1 203-558-6213. You Have To Feed Your Spirit The Way You Feed Your Body

Another powerful episode -  this time with a spiritual teacher, an author, a wife and a mother, and a dear friend (or soul sister??) Danielle Dagba. It’s fascinating to me to realize how far I have come from being completely in denial of the spiritual world (who’s got time for that) to begin to understand that go-go-go is not the way, that we need to take care of our mind and spirit the same way “we try” to take care of our body. I thought the exercise is the best way. I thought a good diet and whole food is the best way. But it’s not enough and I keep learning from wise people who figured it all out long before me. How the spiritual side of you is an important part of your well-being and happiness. How one doesn’t exist without the other. It’s mind-boggling to me that all these things are coming to me so late in my life. But better late than never. I hope you’re enjoying this learning journey with me. With a beautiful Danielle, we talked about:  How one becomes a spiritual teacher How she overcame obesity (hard to believe) and kept her weight down for almost 15 years How to love your body How she prayed and manifested for her purpose mate - while her future husband (before they met) prayed for finding his wife. The one that was meant for him About her journey of being raised in Haiti with a strong catholic background How she was missing something – and started asking deeper questions What was her life plan and how did it gets redirected abruptly  What trauma she needed to heal How she could feel people’s pain and a strong desire to alleviate pain How she could take on energy from far away The realization she made when she first looked into the eyes of her beautiful, miracle baby “You can’t hide pains for long, they start to surface.” “If something so pure and so beautiful came out of me – what else can come out of me if I had my life together” How people naturally started coming to them for insight and advice What her husband helped her to understand and lift How ost in service to community and people - they coached people for a decade before they turned it into a business  How through healing they have something more to give to people How did her book “Born to succeed programmed to fail” come along (what a title!!!!) What’s her true calling The power of self-healing and the power of self-love What she believes about every soul What’s the body and what’s the spirit How if you’re in pain for decades, it’s not going to change overnight What we lost as children and what we were taught instead – about love How powerful a tool our body is and how our body is keeping a score What’s the process of Body love, Body reconciliation, and Body celebration Pain is inevitable but suffering is a choice “The highest level of honesty is the truth you tell yourself. If you can’t tell yourself the truth, no guru, even Jesus can come, I mean the highest spiritual master can be in front of you, and resources can be around you, you’re not going to tap into them. Because you’re denying the fact that something gotta give, you’re not happy, you’re broken, you need to heal, and you have to be open and vulnerable, even if it’s just to yourself at first. And then the resources will come, you open that door for the help to come, and you become magnetic. I remember there was a time, many times when I was taking my spiritual path and there was this understanding that I’m lacking – and I would say, God, I'm ready. The book will come, I turn the TV on, I turn something and that’s exactly what I needed to hear. It always comes from your willingness to change and always being honest with yourself. If you can lie to yourself, nothing can help you.“ Daniel Dagba WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBEThe best way to get in touch with Danielle: EMAIL Address: [email protected] WEBSITE          YOUTUBE       INSTAGRAM     PODCAST     SOUL JOURNEY SPIRITUAL MASTERCLASS - A personal journey to awakening your “Blue” Soul link  Disclaimer:Any opinions stated on this podcast are personal opinions of the host or guests and are meant for information only. Helping People Write Or Rewrite Their Story

In today's episode, we talk with Jill Patton, a 30-year health journalist, and editor turned health and wellness coach. She works with women in leadership — whether in their professions, communities, or families — to help them create the vitality and health they need to keep showing up for what matters and to make the difference they feel called to make. The funny thing is that we turned the tables - as a journalist, Jill is not used to getting asked questions, she's usually asking them. This was an interesting and fulfilling conversation that should give you a taste of Jill's personality, her coaching style, and how she can help. We talked about how: what she really wanted to do before landing into the coaching stratosphere   how her body tells her when she's pushing too hard her own body issues led her to learn more about nutrition, using food as a medicine, and well being what does being a writer and a coach have in common what is working with a health & wellness coach looks like what is necessary for the change to happen what do high achievers usually deal with on daily bases  what can you do instead of blame and shame  WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE Where can you best connect with Jill?email: [email protected]     LINKEDIN    FACEBOOK     YOUTUBE   INSTAGRAM    Disclaimer:Any opinions stated on this podcast are personal opinions of the host or guests and are meant for information only. Suddenly I Realized I Don’t Feel So Dark Anymore

This week we connected and talked with a charming Sarah who was a Registered Nurse for twenty years – and is now helping others as a Holistic Health Coach, Keynote Speaker, Author, and multi-award-winning entrepreneur. In this episode we speak about how she naturally overcame a multitude of health issues, and how Sarah now uses the knowledge gained through her own personal healing journey and experience as a nurse, to take a holistic approach to her work. How 20 years traditionally trained nurse became a holistic coach What’s the difference between a typical medical and a holistic approach  What moved her to reconsider the whole approach to her own health  What health challenges she was able to naturally heal (despite her doctor's prognoses)  How can we start being proactive rather than reactive and start with baby steps today How do you heal when you don’t look at one problem at the time Why she wrote her book and reached out to others who healed themselves to write powerful stories about their own healing journeys  What is the belief in the healing process  What role do unconscious beliefs play  How the “nocebo effect” is the same as the placebo effect – once you’re told you’ll have certain symptoms you’re going to experience them  What tiny steps can you take today  Why it's important to love yourself in an unconditional waySome of Sarah's pearls of wisdom:“Once you have done the healing work (especially the mindset work) the emotional healing work, dealt with your demons, they’re done and dealt with, they don’t impact your life anymore.”“With the diagnoses comes a program and a set of beliefs”“A lot of little somethings is better than none of the big something”“LOVE is always the answer”to get in touch with Sarah, connect with her:Website  LinkedIn  Facebook    YouTube    Instagram   TwitterEmail: [email protected] Book – HEAL YOURSELF on Amazon worldwide in 4 languages Course – Heal Yourself At Home – link on my website for a 20-module self-directed learning course. Find Calm Within Chaos

This interview was originally recorded at the beginning of the world’s pandemic as one of my first ZOOM conversations. But its message and great advice are even more valuable today. I had the privilege to chat with Edwin Brown - a private practitioner of acupuncture in Wethersfield and Manchester, Connecticut). Edwin has spent the last 24 years working in both private clinical and hospital settings. In addition, he spent more than 22 years studying the arts of Judo and Jiujitsu, pursuing his love for Martial arts as well as several years studying and practicing Tai Chi. A thorough understanding of how the flow of energy (Ki) affects the body is a central and crucial aspect in both fighting and healing arts. The ultimate goal of both fighting and healing arts is to achieve and maintain harmony. Studying these disciplines has enabled him to more thoroughly understand Ki and has thereby enhanced his ability to better serve his patients on their healing journeys, and on their paths back to realizing a more balanced life. I asked Edwin about the best practices we can all do right now to improve our mental and physical health during these challenging times, boost our immune system and become the best version of ourselves with just a few conscious actions a day. You will hear: • How his love for the philosophy and spiritual aspects of Martial arts brought him to his new career • How making sure you're relaxed while becoming stronger can give you more benefit from exercise • Just like the tree that’s flexible has the capacity to withstand the storm • How he was one of those big bulky guys - and how strength and flexibility go hand to hand • When he finally found the right teacher, he studied with him for 16 years in his late twenties • How is acupuncture connected to martial arts • What intervened when he created obstacles in his mind why he can’t study and change his career • How he never again wanted to be in a position where someone else decides if he can or can’t work – "I’m going to create my own career" • Whom he met during his studies that changed his life for years to come • His path to personal growth, internal journey, Tai Chi • How he learned to live with uncertainty "Life is uncertain even on the best of days – being flexible in your strength" • What is the one thing we have complete control over? • Learning how to breathe - properly calms your brain from stress • Every single cell in your body needs oxygen to exist so proper breathing helps the proper cellular function • How to make it a habit that sticks • What are the 3 most important things we can do to withstand stress? "Life is about breathing and walking. Living Dreams - I'll Give You The Shirt Of My Back. Unless It’s Cold...

In this episode, we're talking with a retired professional rock roll drummer turned entrepreneur Robert Hayek who for the last few years not only built a new business but is also healing from a neurological disorder deemed "uncurable". We will touch on: how after moving to Florida he felt like not working, semi-retire and maybe becoming a bass fisherman   how Rock Star Networking didn't turn out what he expected it to be yet helped him discover a new business program  how Covid shut down his new business that was just getting momentum - so he had to discover the world of ZOOM how he got introduced to something that changed his life around on the first ZOOM call  how he got involved in Network marketing in the late 90ties - how he was convinced of a product within 10 minutes and knew he was going to build a business around it why has network marketing a stigma around it (for some reason I keep saying "digma"). Perhaps that wine on the podcast isn't such a good idea!  how he played drums ever since he was able to walk.... and had bands early in his grammar school and on - how he hung up on Leslie West twice yet still got hired  how one of his former band's recordings ended up as a soundtrack for a porno movie how he discovered financial business and its leverage -how to be paid over and over for something you sold once why it's important to find the right product & company  how the first 10 minutes won him over to wanting to start the business  what company would allow you to take a few years off - and while you're out, getting paid more and more every single week There is no failure unless you quit what's his big WHY what's the 1 thing he wants to be remembered by what's his goal in 2023 and how he could help you to achieve yours as wellIf you want to connect with Bob Hayek, the best way is:LINKEDIN    WEBSITE    FACEBOOK  YOUTUBE    ASEA WEBSITE WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBEFor more info visit: www.lifewithredox.com For Personal consultation text "YouTube" to Vera on WhatsApp: +1 203-558-6213. We Are All Just Humans Having a Human Experience

In this episode with an incredible Mitch Webb, an Integrative Health Coach we'll talk about what turned a successful Corporate Sales Executive into Health Coach and what he had to overcome to change his health around. Mitch says: “As men, we push that stuff down and don’t deal with it and that stuff sits in our body, taking up energy and we get sick. You got to feel it to heal it.” You'll learn about:  How Mitch’s journey started with multiple crazy diagnoses in his early 20ties What can TBIs, autoimmune disease, insomnia, Lyme disease, and pre-diabetic conditions do to your body's stress  Add to it scary symptoms that presented themselves after being exposed to black mold (unknowingly), heavy metal toxins Mix with tragedy in the family, 3 rounds of Covid, losing 70 lbs. of body weight, and a scary car accident on top of it How much more can you take and what it takes to pull yourself out of that hole How he ends up genie-pigging himself to better health after putting band-aids and plugging holes that didn’t address the root of the issue How he felt compelled to help others with what he learned that helped him How one chiropractor changed his life trajectory What (and who) saved his life How as a type A person you take everything to the extreme – if something is good for you, you will do more of it with a tendency to overdo it. How when you deal with the baggage from the past, emotions, and trauma, once you free up that kind of energy, you’ve got lots of energy to create the life that you want How he partnered with functional medicine doctors to figure out the root issue when you can’t diet and exercise yourself out of chronic health condition Why focusing on the end result leads to burnout and quitting and what to focus on instead What’s his Book of proof How nothing changes until we change – and when we do things differently, we get a different outcome "Before you know it - you look back and you’re somebody completely different that you don’t even recognize and it’s a beautiful thing! Everything happens for a reason. When struggle comes up, the Japanese like to celebrate. I got these crazy diagnoses – awesome! That’s an opportunity to grow and heal, and that’s why you came here to learn these lessons, to grow your soul, and your spirit, to evolve as a human being, and to share and evolve the human collective. We are all one so when you heal, you heal someone else."Digging into some of those old wounds can be painful – so you need something even more painful to motivate you to overcome it."If you would like to see what it's like to work with Mitch, and if he could help you, take advantage of his special offer and schedule your free consultation here: All listeners get a free 30-minute call with Mitch using the link https://calendly.com/k-mitch-webb/30min?month=2022-12 You can reach and connect with Mitch here:LinkedIn        Website      Facebook    InstagramWATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE Disclaimer:Any opinions stated on this podcast are personal opinions of the host or guests and are meant for information only. She is Wahls and Bredesen cerified. Georgette has years of expertise in fitness and nutrition, and when she's not seeing her clients, she serves on the NANP Board of Directors, and the Hawthorn University Advisory Board.     How a certified personal trainer realized you can't out train a bad diet how a serious health scare at a young age made her realize she needs to take a deeper look into the world of nutrition what saved her from a proposed hysterectomy in her late thirties why she went back to school to study holistic nutrition and why she chose that approach instead of a certified dietitian why your doctor doesn't talk about this what is the real medicine for our body what kind of results they had when she was invited to work with her own doctor in a holistic practice and why this doctor's passion became almost an obsession to discover all the advanced medical therapeutics to save someone's life why most of the patients that came to their office were stage 4, have been everywhere else, and what they called homerun what's the 80-20 principle in her book why nutritionists like herself are not there just to assist people with weight loss (although they do that too) but how illness-related patients see huge improvements when the right protocol is recommended and followed why should people seek expert nutritional guidance what keeps her getting up every morning  is gut our second brain?? why a holistic approach to your health isn't some 'voodoo' and why so many people understand how important it is for their quality of life what's her one trusted resource she would recommend if you're trying to find the right answers  what's the one piece of advice Georgette would give to anyone who starts with a better approach to their diet? what quote hangs in her office that got me thinkingTo get in touch with Georgette, please reach out to her:Email:  [email protected] Linkedin    Facebok    Instagram     WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE Disclaimer:Any opinions stated on this podcast are personal opinions of the host or guests and are meant for information only. We were like two ships crossing in the night

Today’s guest is Maureen Hayes, MD, a Medical Doctor for more than 30 years. She’s a board-certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Specialist. How she transformed her professional career, what it means for her impact, a mission, and how the quality of her life changed. We talked about: How all she ever wanted was to be a surgeon  Who was the only man she would sacrifice her career for? Navigating a demanding career while being a single mom How she transformed from surgery to anesthesia and pain management  What book her mom gave her changed her perspective on business, money, life, and what she was doing “If you look from the outside, it looked like the perfect life. But we had not time to enjoy any of it!”  About that Mother of the Year award  How she became the horrible network marketer  How she questioned if her lifetime work has any effect on people’s health  How she started studying and integrating other wellness products that help  Her mom and her husband, himself a doctor and former marathon runner, were both diagnosed with a life-threatening illness  What she calls her own period of ignorance and arrogance once her mom’s illness came back “I thought I was a doctor; I knew better. I did everything I can think of. Except for Redox. Until my mom died 2 months later.” “We’re not giving anybody medical advice - this is a bio replenishment agent. It’s something we already have in every cell of the body, we just have less of it as we get older. Even our genes being turned off and on has to do with redox signaling.“ "Sometimes you don’t know when you have been handed something that’s an answer to your prayers." Magnifying her efforts now and how every dollar earned is a measuring stick of life changed  What would she do differently if she had a do-over?"We all want to age gracefully - we want to be 100 years old but not in a wheelchair with people wiping us …." This is everything. This is the energy of life, really. If you took these molecules away, just like oxygen, you wouldn’t live for more than a few minutes. That’s how foundational they’re. I’m either gonna get to the summit or die trying

E

In this episode, I have the privilege to introduce to you a very special human being, my dear friend, Berta Medina. Her story is captivating, and her professional and personal achievements can easily spread into several fulfilled lives. And she's nowhere near being done! We will talk about: How her family migrated to the United States from Cuba How was it to grow up in a very traditional Cuban multigenerational home Who had the strongest influence on her, installed a strong work ethic and patriotism in her The story she was told about her missing father that later turned out to be completely different What she never shared until after her mom passed What her father’s greatest shame was – that made her say “this is a funeral I'll never have to come back for because this man is dead to me” at 17 yrs old What prompted her to change her career, and go back to college as she was preparing for a mission trip to Kenya and Tanzania Why her family thought she lost her mind – but instead she found her purpose “There is so much to be done and I can’t do it sitting in the office 16 hours a day!” so she retired and gave away her successfully built business to its employees Climb Mt Kilimanjaro at 47 – determined to make it to the summit or die trying, with no plan B, and what helped her push through the last hours to accomplish the mission “Our future is nothing more than an accumulation of the habits and the decisions we make today” Berta Medina What’s her biggest fear “Work with people that set your soul on fire or don’t work with them at all!” What are Berta's 3 strongest values How she schedules even spontaneity Who are “her people” 11th hour is too late to start living your life - what we regret in the end is not the things we did – it’s what we didn’t do While we don’t want to live in an urgent mode, life does require a sense of urgency.
