As we continue our series on Holiness, we ask the question, ‘How do we actually become holy’? While it’s always tempting to understand growing in holiness as something that happens away from others, the Bible points us to a kind of holiness that means a radical movement towards outsiders, the community of the church, and even those who’ve offended us.

The Bible describes God as being Holy, Holy, Holy. This is important, but just as important are God's gracious ways when He reveals His holiness to us, His frail creation. Listen in as Pastor Dom explores the doctrine of God's holiness, and the importance of our honesty when dealing with our lack of holiness and our tendency to tolerate hypocrisy.

Let’s admit holiness is a not a topic we like talking about. One reason for this is we’ve lost the rich biblical promises related to a correct understanding of holiness. We hope this series has helped you get honest about the temptation to trust and depend on other things instead of Jesus. As we wrap up this series, Pastor Dom invites us to listen to a story Jesus tells while hanging out at a house with some religious leaders. Shockingly, that warning is an invitation to sit where Jesus is the host offering us something we never even thought we needed.

Every day we are bombarded with ideas & products that offer us a picture of a fulfilled life. It's within this world that we must come back to the simple truth that those who met Jesus realized that HE was enough. Listen in as Pastor Dom introduces us to a person who never had enough money until the day Jesus came over for lunch. For the first time he could see that Jesus was enough.

This weekend marks eight years since the180 launch as an official church. Our roots are forever linked to a burden to help others see that Jesus could be enough no matter what life might throw their way. In the spirit of celebration, Pastor Dom teaches through a party where people don't have enough wine and the rich ways Jesus reveals that what He has is even better than what they imagined. We pray that as you listen, you'll hear Jesus calling you to take a deeper step of trust which always involves doing a 180: a turn from our ways to His ways.

Life's surprises can cause us to wonder if we can trust God, if He really cares, and if Jesus and His message is really enough for us. For the next few weeks we want to consider those in the Bible who wrestled with similar challenges. Approximately nine years ago the180 began as a church committed to inspire & equip people to Love Jesus and Love like Jesus. This summer series on the Proverbs has been teaching us what it means to grow a heart of wisdom. As we wrap up the series, it is still tempting to see wisdom as something that can wait until we’re older. Join us as we explore this last proverb which teaches us how a life of wisdom is an act of worship that reflects God’s wisdom to the world.

In a fast-paced world, it’s easy to let a sense of urgency lead us into destructive patterns. Yet, through a simple, daily practice, we can make room to cultivate the wisdom of self-control.

Proverbs shows us how our words can cause harm or bring life. Our ability to speak or communicate with words reveals our inner lives in ways that sometimes surprise us. Join us this week as the Bible teaches us to speak in a new life-giving way.

Throughout the Proverbs the issue of restraint invites us to consider our thoughts and desires. This week Pastor Dom guides us through an issue that is difficult to discuss but we must. God's wisdom is meant to protect our relationships from disordered desires. Listen in as we learn that the Good news is that the wisdom of the Proverbs and the teaching of Jesus offer a better way.

This week we continue in the book of Proverbs looking at the theme of pride and the subtle ways it grips our hearts. Join us this week as the Bible teaches us to deal with pride by desiring the kind of humility that Jesus first showed us.

As we continue our summer in the Proverbs, we've arrived at a theme that is so common: the area of conflict. It is easy to forget that God cares about how we handle different relational challenges we might face in life. Listen in as Pastor Dom guides us to see how the Bible invites us to grow through conflict, not just go through conflict.

The Proverbs encourage us to reflect on the wisdom of being generous with our money, resources, and time. This week, we will explore the unique blessings God has for those who embrace generosity and learn how to recognize whether we're growing in wise generosity as followers of Jesus.

The Bible reveals that we all have a tendency to ignore good advice or miss out on God’s gift of wisdom for our lives. When this happens, stubbornness, regrets, and missed opportunities to grow in wisdom become a pattern. Listen in as Pastor Dom kicks off our summer series in the book of Proverbs. As you listen, we pray that your capacity to grow in wisdom would expand and your love for Jesus would deepen.

As we try to do good, we will often encounter situations where we are ignored or discouraged. Everyone who tries to lead faces challenges. This week as we conclude our series on the letter to Titus, learn with us about how growing with Jesus helps us lead with hope and confidence that only God can give.

Because of the influence of the internet and social media, it’s now easier than ever for someone to claim to be a leader and to promote a certain way of life while modelling something different behind the scenes. Listen in as we continue in the letter to Titus and explore how the Bible calls each of us, no matter our context, to a kind of leadership that is filled with integrity.

Leadership is a buzz word we hear all the time. However, the Bible calls us to think about how our inner lives are to be formed before we can be entrusted to lead in the sacred things God is doing. Listen in as Pastor Dom kicks off a three week series looking at a powerful letter to a leader called Titus. God is preparing us all to lead where we are. We hope you feel that burden as you listen and learn with us.

No one we meet in the New Testament followed Jesus without being part of a church. This might be hard to understand so we are working our way through a series we called "Why Church?" This weekend Pastor Dom takes a deep dive into the biblical truth that God invites us to be part of this life-changing mystery as we belong to a church family.

"Church" is a complicated word - messy, mixed emotions, etc. And so is "Family". But these two words are so connected. If we don't know why "Family" is one of the most important answers to the question "why church?", we'll never quite understand what the church is and is meant to be in our lives.
