Reading 1 Thessalonians 3 for Thursday, July 30th. Paul writes from prison about his worries that were not warranted because Timothy reported that the faith of the church grew well in his absence. 

Reading 1 Thessalonians 2 for Wednesday, July 29th. Paul explains his thwarted intentions to visit, and contrasts his ministry to others motivated by greed. 

Reading 1 Thessalonians 1 for Tuesday, July 28th. Paul recognizes the faith and repentance of the members of the church in Thessalonica. 

Reading Colossians 4 for Monday, July 27th. Paul writes from prison to encourage the church to welcome news from some specified brothers that are on their way.

Reading Psalm 114 for Wednesday, July 22nd. When Judah became God’s sanctuary, the landscape was afraid. 

Reading Psalm 113 for Tuesday, July 21st. God is worthy to be praised. He can take the poor and seat them with royalty or give children to women who are infertile. 

Reading Psalm 112 for Monday, July 20th. The righteous will be remembered but the wicked will be forgotten.

Reading Psalm 111 for Saturday, July 18th. God is worthy to be praised. Wisdom starts with the fear of God.

Reading Psalm 110 for Friday, July 17th. David writes a prophetic Psalm about God appointing His son, Jesus, a future born descendant of David to be a King-priest who will conquer sin and intercede for mankind.

Reading Psalm 109 for Thursday, July 16th. David asks God to kill the wicked men who are falsely accusing him of wrongdoing. 

Reading Psalm 108 for Wednesday, July 15th. David prays for God to deliver his army in battle, and does not trust in the power of men for victory.

Reading Colossians 3 for Tuesday, June 30th. Guidelines for attitudes and conduct are outlined, and encouragement is given to set minds on things above. Colossians are encouraged to keep their old ways behind them as well.

Reading Philippians 3 for Thursday, June 25th. Paul writes to the Church at Phillipi about how the outward signs of one’s faith are nothing compared to actually knowing Christ as LORD. 

Reading Psalm 95 for Wednesday, June 24th. The LORD is great and worthy of worship. Do not harden your hearts, or He may exclude you from His rest. 

Reading Psalm 94 for Tuesday, June 23rd. God is asked to avenge and repay the wicked for their acts. 

Reading Psalm 93 for Monday, June 22nd. God’s majesty is compared to the established strength of the great waves of the sea.

Reading Psalm 85 for Friday, June 12th. The sons of Korah write a Psalm about good things God has done and ask Him to do them again, then state that He will do them. 

Reading Psalm 84 for Thursday, June 11th. God is really great, a little time with Him is better than thousands of days anywhere else. 

Reading Psalm 83 for Wednesday, June 10th. Asaph asks God to intervene on behalf of the nation of Israel whose destruction is being plotted. 

Reading Psalm 82 for Tuesday, June 9th. The rulers are warned in this Psalm by Asaph that they may be “gods” for now, but they will die as mere men. 

Reading Psalm 81 for Monday, June 8th. Asaph asks God to save Israel from their oppressive, God mocking neighbors.
