Antifa is one piece of the broader anti-American movement that prioritizes power and control over the well-being of the country as a whole. "America's Anchor Man, Rush Limbaugh, died last week. The expression, 'you can always judge a man by the quality of his enemies' certainly applies to Rush as the onslaught on social media of the man's character and his life was quite impressive. He invented a genre - conservative talk radio - dominated it for thirty years while spawning hundreds of wannabes. He applied his craft with humor, often through clever parities about powerful people and questionable movements and causes. If he did not invent the montage, he perfected it. Employing the tool ruthlessly to expose the hypocrisy of politicians. His quick wit and use of language was unmatched: “Half my brain tied behind my back, just to make it fair.” “Right here in my formerly nicotine stained fingers.” "Talent on loan from God-d!" He created his own lexicon - the Gorbasm, feminazis, Drive-by Media, seminar callers, stack of stuff, Operation Chaos, dittoheads, and Rush babies. He wrote two best-selling books, published a successful monthly newsletter, he had a very popular, yet short-lived television show, he raised tens of millions of dollars for charity, and created a history book series for children. But beyond all of his accomplishments, he was optimistic, undeterred by criticism and authentic. He taught his listeners to think for themselves. No Kool-Aid drinkers at the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies where there are no graduates and there are no degrees because the learning never stops. When evaluating rhetoric and policy prescriptions, he encouraged his listeners to examine the motivation of the speakers and remove the emotion. He encouraged us to be critical thinkers. He was a force for good. He will be sorely missed by millions who will never look at 12:07 PM (EST) the same. Rest in peace Rush! The Constitution served as the glue that held the United States together for over two hundred years. Unfortunately, over the last century, we have seen a steady erosion of the principles and rules of the game captured in that document. So much so that we now live in a post-constitutional country where the document is all but ignored or it is bastardized to fit the needs of the ruling class. The sheer size of the federal government and the power it wields far exceeds anything the founding generation could ever have imagined. For those who love the country, this is a sad revelation. Despite evidence of massive, gross, forensically-proven vote fraud and despite hundreds of signed affidavits by witnesses and sworn testimony before state legislative bodies, all the electorate got from the mainstream media (including Fox News), the national Democrats and state election officials from both parties was push-back, denials and name-calling. When Walter E. This episode is a call to action to prioritize principles over your political party. You know, things like God, family, country, the Constitution, the rule of law and intellectual honesty. Without this prioritization of principles over party you will invariably stop thinking for yourself; you will stop thinking critically and devolve into dehumanization of your political foes, name-calling, incivility, dismissiveness, hypocrisy, an unwillingness to call out your own team and moral relativism. At the root of it all is intellectual dishonesty and a willingness to view everyone as made in the image of God regardless of their political persuasions. In order for your average Democrat / Liberal / Trump-hater to reconcile their world view, they must maintain certain beliefs based on inaccurate information, lies or on a series of woke, virtue-signalling platitudes. Unfortunately for them (and the country) much of what they believe tends to be anti-American, anti-capitalism, anti-Constitution and, most importantly (to them) anti-Trump. But that's only half of the story! They must protect these beliefs by figuratively putting on blinders that inhibit their vision of the many truths that contradict their world view. Additionally, they end up endorsing character assassination, political persecution and prosecution of their political opponents, which is standard practice from their leaders. At the end of the day, they are blinded by their political bias. How did the Democrats win (steal) Pennsylvania's twenty electoral votes? In this episode I take a look at the numbers and explain how. In this episode we examine the American experiment through the lens of the Tenth Amendment which Thomas Jefferson called the foundation of the Constitution. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. That means, the federal government is only authorized to do those few things that have been delegated to it. It is my contention that, if the federal government was still in its tiny, little sandbox created for it by the Constitution, this country would thrive. Unfortunately the federal leviathan has not only outgrown its sandbox but has taken over the entire yard, neighborhood, state, country! The consequences of the overreach are largely unseen yet substantial. The corruption, the failure of one-size-fits-all policies, the influence peddling - all of it acts as a restraint on the American system of free markets, entrepreneurism, freedom and liberty. Instead we allow a handful of powerful people in D.C. and the media to divide us into a series of special interest groups who fight and bicker with each other. All the while the leviathan continues to grow and grow and grow with the only end in sight being the collapse of the U.S. dollar and the U.S. economy, which come to think of it, might have been the plan all along. Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg died recently. Let the fawning begin! Joe Biden recently selected California Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate. You may be wondering why I would spend any time talking about someone who, if history is any guide, will be a footnote in the history books? In the wake of the death of George Floyd - the protests, riots, looting, arson and murdering - it has become readily apparent to anyone paying attention that we have now entered a new era of forced conformity. You either go along with the party line, repeat after them word-for-word, or you risk being canceled, de-platformed, fired and/or charged with political blasphemy and heresy. In the last episode, we covered some of the lighter side issues like the importance of slowing down, enjoying our families, nature and the simple things in life. As I record this episode in late March 2020, the world is living through the Coronavirus crisis. Recently my wife and I were discussing the toilet paper shortage. I explained that the reason there isn't any toilet paper now is because the stores did not raise the price when they saw a surge in demand. She argued that price gouging during a crisis is wrong and immoral. I tried to explain why it is actually a good thing. Full disclosure: She was not convinced. Hopefully you will be after listening.
