For this week’s episode, we welcomed 60:31 Half-Marathon man, Jake Smith, back to the podcast. We first spoke to Jake back in March 2021 for episode 20 (https://audioboom.com/posts/7832101-ep-20-jake-smith), so it was great to get him back on. Now signed by the NN running team with PB’s of 13:38 and 28:01 over 5K and 10K, Jake is one of the UK’s biggest distance running prospects in the marathon. Unfortunately, Jake has recently had some issues with RED-S (https://red-s.com), that have negatively impacted both his running and his everyday life. We hope that this episode can help to spread some awareness around a major issue within our sport.
