S1 Ep 97EP97: Greg Medford - Why Men Need To Stand Up To Evil
E"It's not simple, freedom is not simple and it's not given to you. If it's given to you it's not freedom. You gotta take it." Greg Medford is a US Marine Corps veteran, skilled knife and tool designer, host of the Greg Medford Show podcast, and a patriot. He doesn't hesitate speaking his truth and some consider him controversial. But I think you'll find his delivery refreshing and insightful, whether you agree with him or not. S1 Ep 96SMP EP96: Billou & Arpa - The 3 Reasons Men Engage In A Masculine Relationship With Other Men
E"The source of your power as a man is masculine relationships with other men." Men should be clear on what it looks like to be in masculine relationship. It shouldn't be confused with the type of relationships we had as boys. Boys have the kind of relationship boys need to have at that stage of their lives while men have graduated. Their source of power and fulfilment mostly comes from challenge, a sense of work and competition. There's a very natural way to approach these things and this episode makes it very clear along with what you stand to gain by taking advantage of or creating opportunities for masculine relationships in your life. S1 Ep 95EP95: Ryan Michler - Why Men Need Other Men To Grow & Heal Their Pain
E"I'm a grown-ass man. So at some point we need to let go of the excuses like, 'Oh, my father wasn't around…' Well, how long are you going to lean on your father not being around for you to not be a man? At some point that excuse expires." Ryan Michler has been supporting men and masculinity for almost 10 years. He's the founder of the Order Of Man and The Iron Council which is more than answering the call for creating community and leadership among men. He's a friend of Sovereign Man and he's here to help remind us why this work needs to be done. Topics covered include fatherless homes, disengaged and confused fathers, empowering your ability to serve your family and community through economic success, and of course, how important it is to find your community of men. S1 Ep 94EP94: Patrick Francey - Be The Change You Want To See In Your World
"Confidence is rarely owned. It's almost always borrowed." "You need to take a stand. If you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything." Patrick Francey joins us today from Fraser Valley, British Columbia. Patrick is an entrepreneur, speaker, CEO of the Real Estate Investors Network, and host of The Everyday Millionaire Podcast. He's here to talk about what a man can do in these times of uncertainty to keep his head on straight and still thrive and succeed. Some of the topics covered include knowing your values and staying true to them, surrounding yourself with likeminded men that align with your values, business practices, strategies, and mindsets for uncertain times. Takeaways: Are you coachable? How to handle your emotions. Have the courage to be misunderstood. Challenge yourself to grow. S1 Ep 93EP93: Lt Col David Grossman - Violence Is Exploding - Why A Man Needs To Learn Trauma Care
E"One casualty is one too many, every life is precious. We're preserving and protecting lives like nothing we've ever seen before. But now we have to apply those lessons to our loved ones and to ourselves in these desperately and astoundingly violent times." "You are a sovereign in your home. In your castle." LT. Col. Dave Grossman is back again to take the topic of violence discussed in the previous episode to the next level. Preparation. The murder rates throughout the world are under-represented. We all see the violence happening at home and abroad, it's being reported daily but it doesn't tell the whole picture. Of course, the world is too big for everything to be reported and no one wants that anyway. But the real issue is, on a macro scale, the violence statistics aren't accurate and that leaves men, the protectors, at a disadvantage because they might not realize the need to develop the skills needed to save lives. As always, this episode is about taking ownership and exercising your sovereignty. Dave and Nicky discuss two very simple and yet very powerful techniques that have been saving lives for decades. So simple, the tech can be bought on Amazon. Dave Grossman literally wrote the book On Killing, compiling countless interviews with soldiers and law enforcement people who've killed serving their countries. He served 24 years in the military as a paratrooper, Sargent, Ranger, and Westpoint psychology professor. He also wrote On Killing, On Spiritual Combat, On Hunting. He also trains law enforcement throughout the world. Grossmanonthruth.com Also in this episode: Tourniquet - SWAT-T on Amazon. S1 Ep 92EP92: Lt Colonel Dave Grossman
"Not all that is gold doth glitter. Not all those who wander are lost. The old that is strong does not wither and the deep roots are not touched by the frost." - J.R.R. Tolkien "Giving someone a weapon implies your trust in the maturity and responsible behaviour of the recipient. It speaks of your desire for their safety and well being. It communicates your mutual aspiration to make the world a better and safer place, by putting this tool in the hands of a virtuous and trustworthy person. But remember, in the end, you are the weapon. Everything else is just a tool." - Paraphrased from a quote by Rocky Warren Men are symbols of strength. We're protectors of our sovereignty, our principles, our families and loved ones. As Dave Grossman says in today's episode, "we're about protecting, preserving, and conserving what's good." That means learning how to be a dangerous man in dangerous times. A dangerous man fighting the good fight. But this isn't something to approach casually and weapons, or 'being a weapon' as Dave puts it, is a matter of great responsibility. Dave Grossman comes to us today to help us see the truth of what's happening in our own streets and on our battlefields and how a man can prepare himself to join the battle. He literally wrote the book On Killing, compiling countless interviews with soldiers and law enforcement people who've killed serving their countries. He served 24 years in the military as a paratrooper, Sargent, Ranger, and Westpoint psychology professor. He also wrote On Killing, On Spiritual Combat, On Hunting. S1 Ep 91EP91: Michael Butler - The Single Father's Guide To Surviving Your Divorce
"Get yourself healthy first, grab the oxygen mask. Get some men in your life. Stop the financial bleeding… It's going to take a while to recover so think smart, think like a business owner but the main thing is heal yourself first so you don't repeat the patterns." As today's guest, Michael Butler says, we don't plan for divorce. So if it happens and you're not prepared, you can easily make a lot of emotionally charged decisions that make matters much worse. Especially if there are kids involved. Guilt, shame and regret are powerful emotions that will bring the worst out of us unless we have something to hold us accountable. Today we hear about the power of faith and masculine brotherhood to hold a man to his potential; the effect of the modern, feminised environment that can bring the worst out of a man and ill equip a boy to know how to handle relationships; the consequence of victim mentality and how to take ownership; and kids: the divorce is not your fault. Michael is a pastor and father of two who's been through a divorce. He didn't cope well at first and learned from his mistakes. Through his faith, commitment to his kids and through the men in his life, he recovered and wrote his book to help other men maintain their dignity through divorce. S1 Ep 90EP90: Geoff Tomlinson - Why A Man Needs To Be Part Of A Brotherhood Of Men
E"Attempting to walk the world as a man of honour and integrity will come out for you multiple times when the shit hits the fan. And it will always give you confidence. But it will also give you a fallback, default way of being when the world is trying to knock you off of your foundation. That's a foundation that you can't knock a man off of if he's determined to stay on it." Boys look for role models as they grow up. In a perfect world, boys would be given a solid set of principles from their fathers that would be their foundation for life. Integrity, honour, and discipline are three that Geoff Tomlinson puts at the top of the list in todays episode. Unfortunately the state of families and of society in general has left too many boys looking elsewhere for guidance. And too often being mislead. But this episode isn't so much about what men and boys don't have, it's about where they can find it once they've realized it's missing. In today's episode: The difference between what media and some women tell us they want vs the true role a man is meant to play. Integrity, honour, and a moral compass. Confusion among men about masculinity. Men's groups: what they offer and what they are not. Check out the Sovereign Circle or the Battle Ready program at https://www.sovereignman.ca/. S1 Ep 89EP89: Steve Richmond - Giving vs. Getting
E"It's not the fear of failing that really scares us, it's the fear of success. Because once you get success you have to maintain success." We all depend on the relationships we have and especially how we contribute to them. As today's guest puts it, that's who we are. Understanding that and engaging with that will certainly lead to a fulfilling life. It's about being of service and it's also about getting past your fears. We all wake up, everyday to a context that we've set for ourselves, whether we did it intentionally or not. Your context might leave a lot of room for fear to creep in. Steve very simply states what that looks like and how we can set a new, more solid context for our purpose where fear doesn't call the shots. And of course, having a group of men like the Sovereign Circle to help you create that context and face those fears is something every man needs. Steve Richmond has been involved in men's work for 30 years. He's been a professional relationship and men's coach for 15 years, helping men get out of their comfort zones, resolve barriers to their success and take control of life through action and responsibility. https://www.steverichmond.ca/about Check out the Sovereign Circle or the Battle Ready program at https://www.sovereignman.ca/. S1 Ep 88EP88: Shaun Thompson - How To Correctly Father Your Daughters
"I took all the uncomfortable slander from my wife's friends, from my daughter's friends and I never wavered. And there's something in doing that, that even if they're repelled because society is leaning that pressure on them, they respect it. And once you have someone's respect, you don't need anything else. I don't need approval." A father's good influence on his daughters teaches them how to recognize and find a good man for themselves. The respect a father earns from his daughters opens their eyes to the world as it truly is, so they know which steps in life are safe and which ones are heading in the wrong direction. Shaun Thompson has been a husband for 23 years and a father of two girls (now women) for 20. Shaun and his wife raised their girls in a world that was going 'woke'. Despite being challenged with these ideals by the women in his life, Shaun knew it was best to think for himself and raise his girls according to the principles he knew were right. Shaun Thompson is a radio personality and talkshow host on AM560 The Answer. S1 Ep 87EP87: Joey Yochheim - How To Unf**k Your Life
E"You are the common denominator in every problem you face." "Pull power away from the individual, you pull power away from a nation." Setting yourself up to be responsible for yourself and your family is a moral obligation. That means being able to sustain and protect yourself and your family through financial, physical, and mental fitness. In the echo chamber of our modern, woke society, everyone has access to a constant feed of messages telling us its ok to abandon traditional values and ultimately, abandon ourselves. This isn't what anyone truly wants but it's too easy to get programmed with these ideals that strip away our power and we might not even realize it's happening. Joey Yoccheim is the cofounder of ExecuFit, a personal training fitness centre with a focus on helping entrepreneurs and executives develop personalized lifestyle and fitness training for optimized, high-level performance. One powerful focus of the program is identifying subconscious thoughts you might have that are stripping away your power, holding you back from the peak performance you're capable of in all aspects of your life. S1 Ep 86EP86: Billou & Arpa - The Great Patriot BUY-cott
"If you don't agree with what's going on in society, you need a blueprint for how to do something about it and this book provides that blueprint." It's not always easy to know the truth of what's going on out there or how different people, groups or organizations are - or are not - standing for truth and freedom. Billou has teamed up with Wayne Allyn Root (aka "the conservative warrior" and "the capitalist evangelist") to write two books that are a blueprint for how to make sure your money goes to the people who support truth and freedom. 4.3 trillion dollars are spent by consumers every year and a lot can be done by taking money away from companies who promote and enforce anti human, woke ideology in the workplace, and who do business with corrupt governments who openly attack western morality, capitalism, and freedom such as the Chinese Communist Party. These books are The Great Patriot Protest & Boycott Book: The Priceless List for Conservatives, Christians, Patriots, & 80+ Million Trump Warriors to Cancel "Cancel Culture" and Save America!, and their latest book, The Great Patriot BUY-cott Book: The Great Conservative Companies to BUY From & Invest In!. These two books offer up a list of companies to boycott and companies to BUY-cott. Both books can be found on Amazon. To learn more about Wayne Allyn Root, go to https://rootforamerica.com/. S1 Ep 85EP85: Billou & Arpa - Why You Should Make Decisions Logically & Not Emotionally
E"What we're saying is, you can't base your decision making on your feelings. Your feelings have nothing to do with anything. Nothing to do with anything. What matters is, what does logic dictate in this situation." When it comes to making important decisions, logic is king. Things like protecting your family, building your future, business operations and so on, you need the solid foundation that only logical and rational thinking provides. When fear, resentment, overexcitement, greed, and a host of others influence your decisions, there will be consequences. A quick glance at news headlines and your social media stream offers up endless examples of emotional or irrational thinking. Today, Billou & Arpa elaborate on some of these examples, and they discuss how Sovereign Man is teaching men to know what it means to keep both feet firmly on the ground. Also mentioned: Thomas Sowell - philosopher Check out the Sovereign Circle or the Battle Ready program at https://www.sovereignman.ca/. S1 Ep 84EP84: Billou & Arpa - Why A Man Should Not Hold A Grudge
E"How's a man supposed to go into battle if he's carrying all this extra dead weight?" "You've got men in trenches. And you need a man to be able to jump out of the trench and run at the other one at a moments notice, without question, fighting for what's right. And you can't have that when we're all stuck in victim blaming." A grudge is a burden to a man. An unnecessary weight he carries that will hold him back from being the man he should be. But facing these and bringing them to light can be hard to do with integrity. A man should know that when issues come up, his focus should be on finding the best way to come back to integrity. Ultimately, this behaviour in men is unacceptable. This behaviour has its place in the world but it doesn't fit in the realm of the masculine man. Arpa and Billou explore examples from history that demonstrate how a man should handle the issues he faces among other men, and they explore the origins of the modern, feminized man. S1 Ep 83EP83: BILLOU & ARPA - What Is A High Value Man? Part 2
EIn these so called woke times, boys and men are getting mixed and distorted messages about what it means to be a man. Schools are even teaching boys that they don't have to BE a man and that they might not be even if their anatomy suggests otherwise. It seems ridiculous to put that in words but that's the reality we're faced with. Wokeism isn't the only thing boys have working against them these days. The effects of communist subversion are crystal clear to anyone who's managed to maintain their mental sovereignty. Regardless of where it comes from it's showing up everywhere and part of being a man is standing up for truth, freedom, family and society so that's what this episode is about. Arpa and Billou talk about some of the messages out there effecting our boys, how to be sure you're surrounding yourself with the right people, and the principles a boy needs to start becoming a man. Check out the Sovereign Circle or the Battle Ready program at https://www.sovereignman.ca/. While you're there, check out the store for Sovereign Man t-shirts, hats, and books.

S1 Ep 82EP82: What Is A High Value Man? What Is Not A High Value Man?
E"Being successful, being rich, being fit, being ripped, and having women desire you… those aren't necessarily bad things. But do they make you a 'high value man? My answer to that is absolutely not." There's nothing wrong with financial success but that's not necessarily a measurement of a man's value. The value of any person is measured by their integrity and the set of principles they carry and stand firm on. Check out the Sovereign Circle or the Battle Ready program at https://www.sovereignman.ca/. While you're there, check out the store for Sovereign Man t-shirts, hats, and books.

S1 Ep 81EP81: Ilan Srulovicz - Why We Need Traditional Masculinity NOW
E"Men are afraid to be masculine, they're shying away from their strengths, they're apologizing all the time for just being what they are inherently, they're not able to hold down healthy relationships anymore, they don't know how to interact with women anymore, they don't know how to be self confident anymore. We're destroying an entire gender for the sake of being politically correct." Over the last several generations, the image of men and masculinity has been distorted to the point that, as our guest Ilan put it, "we now have a baseline vilification of masculinity across the board". This conversation goes deep into history, politics and current events to clarify the true situation. Everything we do today to restore the true image of men and masculinity is an investment in future generations. It will take time and a huge cultural shift. "The positive effects of what we do today are not for ourselves, they're for the future." Ilan Srulovicz is the CEO of the Egard watch company, an actor and a martial artist. In 2019, Ilan took a big stand against the "toxic masculinity" narrative. Gillette released an ad titled "The Best A Man Could Be", focusing on what they deemed toxic masculinity. Ilan released a video response and was interviewed on FOX News and many other media platforms to discuss his point of view. https://www.instagram.com/ilan_muallem_official/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/ilan-muallem-srulovicz-866b6726/ https://www.egardwatches.com/

S1 Ep 80EP80: Spencer Mozingo - Why Men Need To Do Hard Things
"We villainized masculinity, we created confusion in identity, and we completely stripped God out of the picture. We're putting God back in the picture. We're telling men it's ok to be strong, it's ok to be aggressive, it's ok to be assertive, and we're giving them a platform to use that for good." The last several decades have revealed an attack on traditional values. We see this showing up in every aspect of society as the mainstream narrative gets more and more ridiculous. The impact has been pouring from one generation to another to the point that we now have broken families and too many boys being raised without fathers. Spencer Mozingo was raised by 3 generations of women and as he grew up, his disconnect from masculinity started to seriously interfere with his life. Spencer believes that if we don't fix men, the world will fall apart. Spencer is one of the leaders at The Summit. A men's organization under the umbrella of Turning Point USA, who's mission is to revive the masculine heart and to develop purpose-driven men who are leaders ready to serve their God, their family, and their nation. S1 Ep 79EP79: Billou & Arpa - Trust Account: What it is & Why You Need One With Your Men
E"We live in an age and a time when a man's not expected to keep his word anymore. Not to himself, not to other people. You can't build a trust account with another man if you don't have a reputation with that man of being someone whose word is good and can be maintained." A man's accountability and his sovereignty go hand-in-hand. Your relationship to yourself; your self-respect, and the respect you get from those around you are earned by some form of accountability. Men need other men in their lives that they can count on. Accountability turns a group of men into a brotherhood that will ensure you stay on track and be the best that you can be. S1 Ep 78EP78: Avi Nakash - How To Raise Teenage Boys Into Masculine Men
E"Chances are we're not going to get the life we want unless we get to work. So what are the fundamentals, what are the basics that I need in order to have the life I want? You start talk about things like commitment and discipline and integrity and honour and dedication." Today's teens have it harder in some ways than previous generations. The world they were born into is more complicated with mixed messages coming from every angle, broken families, and addictive substances and devices at their finger tips. All of this tends to pull a boy away from his natural process of growing into a man and he's sent into the world, ill-equipped to handle his relationships, his emotions and his responsibilities. His only opportunity to transition into true manhood will come from the lessons learned from many mistakes he didn't have to make. Avi Nakash believes boys don't have to learn the hard way or become a statistic. So he created Gameday Training "to serve mankind at the highest level, by preparing men to be their best in the areas of their life that matter most". Avi is a retired Israeli soldier and an entrepreneur. He's spent several years focussed on personal development and men's work including being a top leader in Landmark Worldwide. S1 Ep 77EP77: Eric Sardina - Why Men Need To Do Hard Things
"A right of passage has to be challenging. You have to question your ability to complete. And it requires a man to dig deeper than he thinks he has in the tank to be able to find his way to the end. And what they learn is they can get there. They can do it." A right of passage is the defining moment when a boy becomes fully accountable for his own actions in the world. It is the beginning of the transition from boyhood to manhood and it's something that's hard to come by in these modern times. Eric Sardina is a man who understands how dangerous it is for boys to go into the world without the mindset or principles needed to succeed, such as 'being of service'. He created The Summit, a Christian based right of passage program that's sponsored by Turning Point USA, a Christian organization that stands for faith and freedom in America. The program is designed to show men what it means to be strong men in their homes and in their community. The learn more about the program or to fill out an application, go to tpfaith.com/mens. S1 Ep 76EP76: Matthew Roda - How To Set High Standards & Keep Raising Them
E"If you're not physically at the best you can be it's going to hurt your mental game. And vice versa. If your mental game isn't on point, you're not going to be performing physically like you could be." There's a mainstream message promoting the idea that being soft is ok. Images of the 'dad bod' are found in social media where these men are heralded as accomplished and even sexy. "No thank-you" says today's guest, Matt Roda. "If you're not operating at a peak performance you're not being the best man that you can be and I feel like the world deserves that version of you." So much garbage is promoted through too many mainstream channels and it's worth asking why and where it comes from. It has its roots and we discuss them in today's episode. One main takeaway is that if you remove the basic premise of reality from people's minds, you'll have a bunch of confused people without purpose who are easy to control. The crux of this conversation is physical and mental sovereignty. Matt suggests: Men block out the noise, get in tunnel vision, and get disciplined. Lift heavy shit, put good nutrients in your body so your body won't diminish. Be the leader in your relationship with your wife. Pick her up and show her your masculinity. Protect her and love her. Procreate. Raise badass children. Study a few different people, check out their mission and their principles and pick five things you like about each of them. Make that the foundation for who you want to be. Matt is a father, a business and marketing coach, and motivational speaker. To learn more about Matt's offerings, go to https://matthewroda.com/. S1 Ep 75EP75: Billou & Arpa - Why Men Need To Know How To Keep Their Mouths Shut!
EThis episode is about cultivating your speech. What motivates you talk? Is it a boyhood habit you still haven't dropped from the days of gossiping at school? Are you trying to show off? From damaging reputations to breaking apart families, there are many situations where a man needs to learn to hold his tongue. Stand your ground when tempted by men or women who want you to speak when you should just keep your mouth shut. This is a powerful way to demonstrate and protect your dignity and your masculinity. S1 Ep 74EP74: Billou & Arpa - How Money Changes You As A Man
E"Money makes you more of who you really are. If you're a good person with money you'll be a better person because it'll let you amplify that. If you're a bad person with money you'll be a worse person because it'll let you amplify that too." There are three phases every man will go through in his relationship with money. It's a reflection of each man's process of maturing through life. Understanding that process can help you avoid major pitfalls that get the best of us, especially given the power money can have over a man who's not on his mission. There are many things a man can invest in to build himself up and prepare his family for the future. Check out the Sovereign Circle or the Battle Ready program at https://www.sovereignman.ca/. S1 Ep 73EP73: Billou & Arpa - What Is Freedom To A Man?
E"Freedom for a man is to have no choice." There's a small sense of freedom that comes from having nothing to do. No responsibilities. But it doesn't last long before boredom sets in and for some of us, that nagging sense that we're not reaching our full potential and that life is missing something. There's another approach to freedom and it's the only way. Find your purpose and surrender to it, fully. Heavy emphasis on surrender. If this seems counterintuitive, listen to today's episode to get clear on how you can find true freedom. Check out the Sovereign Circle or the Battle Ready program at https://www.sovereignman.ca/. S1 Ep 72EP72: Lt Colonel David Grossman - It's Springtime For Snowflakes
E"I think we should be profoundly concerned about the woke message being given to our children through our schools." "The only thing in the world we can control is ourselves. And we give way to bitterness, if we give way to cynicism or complacency or denial, then we've given away the one thing we can control. If you lose your temper, you didn't lose it, you gave it away." Recent events have shown us there's a force in the process of trying to take away our freedom; our ability to control our children, our families, and our communities. Even our beliefs. But ultimately these events have only served as a wakeup call. This force is not winning. It's clear that the majority will not stand by to allow this to unfold. But the way forward is standing up for the principles that support our basic human nature and promote the virtue that strengthens every aspect of our selves and our society. Lt Colonel David Grossman is a decorated soldier, Westpoint psychology professor, husband and father, and a man of faith. He's seen the battle ground and he understands the strength of a man and a society that fights with virtue for truth and freedom. He knows that a man's freedom is ultimately maintained by his virtuous principles, not his government. He's written several books, including the Amazon best seller, On Killing (Marine Core Commandants required reading), On Combat, and the soon to be released, On Hunting. He's trained military and law enforcement around the world. Dave's advice for how to empower your masculinity: Get control of your life and promote healthy sleep for your self and your family. Identify the things you can do in a violent world. Learn how to handle a weapon and know how to use it virtuously. Don't live in fear. Get control of your children, their training and education. Get control of local politics, school boards. Invest in their education and future through faith based, private education. Live a virtuous life. Build a virtuous family. Some of Dave's other books are; On Combat, On Spiritual Combat, Sheepdog (kids book), and his latest book, soon to be published is, On Hunting. S1 Ep 70EP70: Sean Castrina - Success Requires Getting Uncomfortable
EJust a few generations ago, the average man knew that hard work paid off, and there wasn't much thought given to shirking responsibilities to self, family, community, and God. Now, many aspects of society will cradle a man who would rather take the easy road, choosing comfort and convenience over hard work and responsibility. Deep down, no man truly wants this but there's a trend of promoting and raising diminished men who don't know how or haven't the courage to step out of their comfort zone. A man who doesn't know his potential or how to get there is lost. Here to help create a bridge for these men is Sean Catrina. Sean is a husband and father who's created multiple 8 figure businesses. He's proven to himself, his employees, and his family the value of hard work and stepping out of your comfort zone. This conversation explores why comfort has become so important to men, where some of the strongest influences in this trend come from, and the mindset it takes to break free and find your version of success. S1 Ep 68SMP EP68: Michael Jaquith - Emotional Sovereignty & Overcoming Addiction
"The strength of a man comes from his ability to take an emotional blow, process it and let go." The ability to stand firm in the face of his own emotions defines a man's character. Too much trouble comes to and from a man who justify's his impulses or who doesn't believe he can gain control of himself. Addictions of all kinds will plague him and he'll be sealed off from ever experiencing his true potential or offering it to his friends, family or community. Michael Jaquith is a personal growth and development coach. He knows the nature of addiction well and he's especially aware of how a man can start his journey away from addiction and toward his own emotional sovereignty. S1 Ep 66EP66: James A. Ray - How To Overcome Adversity & Achieve Redemption
"The greatest battles you'll ever fight are not outside of you. The greatest battles you'll ever fight are deep inside of you. Your own demons, your own dragons, all those things that tell you, "Thou shall not!" Everything that stands at the door of your dreams and desires and says "You shall not pass!" People want redemption and sovereignty but society has been drifting from the foundation of both. Younger generations have been taught to avoid responsibility so they might not even recognize a need for redemption or sovereignty. But what we're seeing throughout the world now, as many social phenomenon reach the extreme, is that a sustainable future depends on us all having and maintaining both. James A. Ray is a man who needed redemption and he found it. When others would have given up, James had the necessary mindset to breakthrough the adversity and earn redemption. The conversation goes from being lost in the desert, to millennials, to quantum physics. EP64: Stephen Arms - Why Boys Need A Rite Of Passage To Manhood
"That was the moment I became a man." Boys who aren't guided toward manhood and who aren't told when they've arrived will seek to prove themselves. And without the integrity that comes with truly being a man, the boy will take a side track that could lead to a lot of trouble for himself and the people around him. A rite of passage is a ritual that makes the transition tangible, and tells the boy that he's ready to take on the rest of his life. But in these modern times, ritual is something we have to create for ourselves. It's up to each of us to find or create a rite of passage for the boys around us. Stephen Arms' father gave him a rite passage and he's written the book, Milestone To Manhood: A Christian Rite Of Passage to Help Your 13-Year-Old Son Make The Leap From Boyhood To Manhood to help remind others of the need for boys to truly become men. S1 Ep 54EP54: G. Michael Hopf - Why Hard Times Create Strong Men
"Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times." - G. Michael Hopf The above poem says it all. The rise, decline and fall of the Roman empire is testament to this cycle. When the living is easy, mankind has a tendency to give in to temptation, trading dignity for decadence. Over time, basic human principles slide until they start to reverse and what was once known to be weakness is now seen as strength and vice versa. But this cycle only exists and is able to repeat itself because, while mankind may change, the foundation of reality doesn't. We all know we're headed in to hard times now, but Geoff Michael Hopf believes that it's an opportunity. We need to embrace these hard times as part of the cycle so that strong men can bring about another era of good times. Along these lines, Geoff offers the following advice: Develop self-reliance. Pull back from modern culture. Limit your time on social media and pornography. Focus that energy toward educating yourself, learning new skillsets. Prepare for recession by building financial literacy. The mind is everything. We are an expression of our thoughts. Strengthen your mind. Practice gratitude and find the weaknesses inside yourself. Geoff is a best-selling author with 37 books written. His writing style includes post-apocalyptic landscapes, Wild West gunfights, and the paranormal. He also runs his own publishing company called Beyond The Fray Publishing, focussing on non-fiction paranormal, cryptid, UFO and true crime. https://www.gmichaelhopf.com Check out the Sovereign Circle or the Battle Ready program at https://www.sovereignman.ca/.
