Rob Jack's radio show, Driving Home the Faith. Here Dr. Morse speaks on the Catholic Church's teaching on Traditional Christian Sexual Ethics and how it is sorely needed in these times. Luxembourg Cardinal, Jean-Claude Hollerich, recently announced, "The sociological-scientific foundation of [Catholic] teaching [on homosexuality] is no longer correct." Dr. Morse asks what science is he following. Promoters of LGBT lifestyle often act as if science has proven their worldview, but when pressed to divulge the scientific proof they can't prove any of their talking points. If you examine every one of their implied claims, every one of them is refuted by science. Dr. Morse also examines the historical battle for truth. The menacing attacks from the elites in power against the faithful truth speakers of the day is not anything new. She highlights the episode of St. John Chrysostom boldly calling out the empress' lavish lifestyle. Discussed is the fact that many Catholic dissidents seek approval for dissension from the Jesuits. Presented is the famous case of the Jesuits of Boston College meeting with the presidential Kennedy family and advising them on how to promote contraception and abortion and still be Catholic. "When the Catholic Church is true to Her mission and divine origin, She has the potential to lead the culture" explains Dr. Morse. Dr. Morse gives the laity an insight into what they can do while the hierarchy of the Church is wavering on the tough issues. What we have to do as laypeople is make the Church's teaching as clear as possible. The same people who leave the Church because of problems with the teaching on sexual issues can become the ones who come back to the Church because of problems they are experiencing in life because of disobedience regarding these same issues. Dr. Morse describes herself as being one such person.

Rob Jack the recent appointment of Sam Brinton to the Office of Nuclear Energy. Amongst various aspects, Dr. Morse describes that some members of the federal government use appointments to flex the sexual revolution's muscles. Passing away are the days when the best person is chosen on account of merit. Also, Dr. Morse speaks of her interview with Susan Constantine, forensic body-language expert, who appeared on the Dr. J Show and spoke at the Summit for Survivors 2021. She teaches about duping delight and how Sam Brinton's story of torture in conversion therapy is almost certainly false. This same false story is being used to ban sexual orientation change efforts (SOCE) across the nation. Additionally, Morse mentions Fr. Paul Sullins research which examines statistics from the Williams Institute which demonstrates that SOCE are not harmful to individuals who receive this form of treatment. Dr. Morse makes a keen observation in today's episode of the Ruth Institute Podcast. She observes that New York law makers and city officials consider going house to house to forcibly coerce COVID vaccinations. Yet, California decriminalizes knowingly spreading HIV/AIDS in sexual encounters. You can't take a risk of contracting or spreading COVID by remaining unvaccinated. However, you can be lied to by a sexual partner, contract an incurable disease, and denied justice in prosecuting the perpetrator. Why? Because no health risks are allowed…. unless they are risks to your sexual health. America is quickly becoming no longer a government of the constitution but a government of agencies. Congress passes off law-making power to agencies, which are non-elected and unaccountable, while congress sits back and does nothing. Also, Dr. Morse describes her book, The Sexual State, and offers some advice on staying sane in this crazy world.

Air Date: Feb 10, 2021 Published: Feb. 11, 2022 In this episode of the Ruth Institute Podcast, we listen to Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse who is interviewed by Erin Kunkle and Sarah Stonestreet on their show, the Strong Women Podcast sponsored by the Colson Center. Dr. Morse explains her upbringing, family history, and what the Ruth Institute is and its mission in the fight against the Sexual Revolution. She describes being the mother of two – one biological, the other by adoption – and having the ability to conduct informal controlled experiments because of this difference. She talks of developmental milestones, such as playing peek-a-boo, that were experienced differently between her two children. All of these interactions taught her firmly that children need their parents. Dr. Morse explains that if a child misses a developmental window, it is a lot of work to go back later and try to fix. A child only has one year to be one year old; only one year to be two years old, etc. Her adopted son missed a lot of developmental interactions in his first two years of life and Dr. Morse tells of some of the things she and her husband did to make up for it. In addition, Dr. Morse comments on the secular culture today that has hollowed out the meaning of important Christian words like equality, freedom, and love, and has replaced them with new meanings. For instance, when St. Paul speaks of freedom he means the 'ability to do what one ought'. But by far, the most misunderstood word today is love. Far from being a mere feeling that one experiences with someone they like, Dr. Morse teaches that love, as conceived by great minds like St. Thomas Aquinas, is the pursuit of a greater good for the other, which points away from feelings to a concrete objective decision. It is in the will and not the fleeting emotions. And love is very important for the family. Children need their parents to learn what love is. Dr. Morse shares some wise words on St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body, and posits that women are the nurturers of life, and nurturing can take on many forms. She demonstrates this premise by sharing that she loves to cook for others and see them enjoy the food she makes. This does not necessarily entail raising a child, although mothers often cook for their children, but shows the beauty of womanhood and its many various forms of nurturing everyone. Finally, Dr. Morse shares what she considers a profound truth: doing God's will is what makes us happy. She explains that this is in direct contradiction to the ideologue's ideas of equality. How? In this episode of the Ruth Institute Podcast, we tune in to Sacred Heart Radio's show, Driving Home the Faith with Fr. Rob Jack. Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse discusses China's One Child Policy and the bleak demographic winter that looms in the future. Dr. Morse relates that perhaps it is absolute power wielded by a few which has corrupted the government of China. "They get off on bossing people around and we have to account for that in the human condition, that some governmental policies are driven by corrupt persons who want to exercise their might." [paraphrase] The age old maxim comes to mind: absolute power corrupts absolutely. Dr. Morse adds that China fell for the overpopulation myth, hook, line, and sinker, with its own citizens turning on each other and reporting on non-conforming neighbors. China assembled somewhere around one million persons into the birth control police, conveniently named, Family Planning Police. This was the largest, non-military police force in the world at the time. [1980s] Many economists and businesses thought that opening trade with China would make them want to be free like us. Capitalism was the great hope for them. But instead of liberalizing because we dealt with them, they stole all our technology. Dr. Morse emphatically stated: "The government has no right issuing birth limits on the citizen." She comments that very few Western, non-religious, NGOs (non-governmental organization) said anything against the One Child Policy when it was implemented. It seemed only religious people, mostly Catholic, would acknowledge that it is intrinsically wrong for the government to decide family sizes. Now China is encouraging women to have children. They are beginning to see what looks to be a devastating future. And especially the future looks bleak for the women of China, who are outnumbered significantly by their male counterparts. This is because the overwhelming demand under the policy was for sons. "[This devastating One Child Policy] increased the demand for women; it did not in fact increase the wellbeing of women – it increased the wellbeing of men who control the women." – Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse

In this episode of the Ruth Institute Podcast, we find Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse on the Capital Record Podcast published by National Review. She is interviewed by David Bahnsen. Dr. Morse tells her journey from an economist to a defender of the family, becoming a mother herself of two children. Dr. Morse describes what she learned early on as a mother: children need a relationship with their parents in order to build a conscience and be able to socialize properly with the outside world. And this has major effects on the economy. The people that keep contracts and promises and who are honest in the economy must come from somewhere – the family. A child without love cannot do even the most basic things in society. Is free enterprise and the family mutually exclusive? Are they really unrelated? Dr. Morse invites the listeners to consider that the family reproduces itself whereas the Sexual Revolution is sterile. She highlights that the Sexual Revolution is a war against nature. The fact that men and women are different is natural. The reality that children depend upon their own parents is an unavoidable truth. To sustain itself against nature, the Sexual Revolution requires force and therefore is totalitarian. The pioneers of the sexual revolution, persons like Wilhelm Reich and Alfred Kinsey, thought that all sexual taboos were harmful. Fast forward today, and now we see that almost all sexual taboos that put healthy distance between men, women, and scandalous actions have been removed. "A lot of the brokenness and families failing to perform, a lot of that has to be laid at the doorstep of Roe v. Wade. That is the accelerator…. [There is this] article that George Akerlof and Janet Yellen did… that was analyzing the fact that the advent of modern contraception and abortion actually is correlated with more out of wedlock pregnancy." – Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse "Traditional Christian Sexual Ethics created equality because it said, 'For every child: his or her own father and his or her own mother. For every man: one and only one wife. For every woman: one and only one husband. And for life. That created stability. That created equality.'" This makes divorce and remarriage an abuse against a child's rights, excepting of course in grave, unavoidable tragedies. The lifelong cooperation of parents is needed for children to thrive. In this episode of the Ruth Institute Podcast, we tune in to the Drew Mariani Show on Relevant Radio. Here Fr. Paul Sullins, Ph.D speaks on the decline of marriage and the abysmal fertility rates of American culture, even amongst conservatives. Father Sullins explains marriage is a pre-governmental, transcendent institution being founded in the Garden of Eden. Yet, despite this glorious aspect, it has suffered major blows within the past 7 decades. As he highlights in this podcast, inhumanity amongst young people has advanced to its heights, and this is largely because of advanced technology and social media. This inhumanity has led to the decline of young persons meeting and marrying each other. This phenomenon also operates concurrently with what sociologists call the Advanced Specialization of Modernity: that all of the functions in society that used to be grouped together have been differentiated and parceled out from each other. All of the goods and functions of marriage have come to operate independently from the institution itself. Formerly, in marriage, men and women sought companionship, sex-relations, children, financial security, etc. They would buy a home together, they would plan a life together. Those are all now things that young men and women do independently of marriage. Yet, Father Sullins doesn't leave it there. He emphasizes that another big factor in the decline of marriage was the decline of religion which has become empty and de-resonated. Be sure to listen to get the full scoop!

Dr. George Delgado is the medical director of Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) and Culture of Life Family Health Care. Dr. Delgado published the first peer-reviewed article in the medical literature describing the reversal of mifepristone (RU 486) using progesterone. He then established Abortion Pill Reversal, a program that connects women who have changed their minds after taking mifepristone (RU 486) and want to reverse the effects of the abortion pill. Deborah DeGroff became interested in the subject of children's books when her oldest child began to read. While perusing the then-current literature of the eighties, she noted the qualitative difference between those books and the books she had read as a child. Upon more investigation, her curiosity shifted to concern. Thus began a lifetime of research and a resounding cry for parents to look inside their children's books. Susan Constantine, MPsy, discusses with Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse her Behavior Lab analysis of Sam Brinton and his story. Sam was made a poster child for the Trevor Project as he told his story about the supposed horrors of conversion therapy. He discussed the forced treatment he received which tried to change his sexual orientation, which included shock therapy, electrocution, heat and coils, needles, government killing of people, a suicide attempt, and abuse from his father. She and her team at the Human Behavior Lab analyzed multiple tellings of his story (which is publicly available on social media) to determine whether or not he was being deceptive or truthful. Dr. Joel Brind, Ph.D. has been a Professor of Biology and Endocrinology at Baruch College of the City University of New York for 28 years and a medical research biochemist since 1981. Long specializing in steroid biosynthesis and metabolism and endocrine-related cancers, his research has exposed the causal connection between abortion and breast cancer. Ostracized by his colleagues and persecuted by the National Cancer Institute, he persisted in telling the truth about the "ABC link" (abortion breast cancer link).
