In the same way, if parents want to baptize their child but have a miscarriage would the child receive graces that he would have gotten if he was baptized? What happens to the souls of miscarried child? Patrick starts the hour with disturbing news from the Vatican: Pro-abortion member of Pontifical Academy for Life contributes to ‘dialogue’ Marya - What is the churches teaching on children who die in the womb? Fred - I am a director of a Pregnancy Center in Brooklyn. I would disagree with you about the pill. I think it could also be used for abortion purposes.

A caller who suffers from bad anxiety asks Patrick what the Catholic teaching is on the matter. He also mentions that it helps him to pray.

Patrick starts the show by responding to an anonymous listener who prays regularly with the Relevant Radio app. Her husband has become annoyed with hearing her pray so often. She asks Patrick if she should pray silently to “keep the peace” Jose - My mom is always praying and I am annoyed by her. What should I do? Joe – In Matthew 25, are the Sheep in this parable non-Catholic Christians? Soda pop, chips, hot dogs, etc. – they can take years off your life. Nuts can add to it. Sharon - My daughter who was baptized Catholic wants to be re-baptized in a different church. What should I do? Greg - How can you turn a relation based on fear with God to one of love and trust? Pam - I loved your advice for Greg. The devil reminds me of my sin but I try to lay my sins at the feet of Jesus and his mercy Maria - I struggle with guilt myself. I remember that no sin is too big for God to forgive.

Patrick shares the report that marijuana use is becoming a new normal among young adults and warns of the dangers of this gateway drug Dan - I love your show. Patrick has a long and thoughtful discussion with Vicki, a caller who identifies herself as Catholic but pro-choice. He tries to get her to see the parallels between a person’s right to bodily autonomy in the face of a vaccine mandate which compels vaccines to help other people stay safe, and the fact that the unborn baby also has a right to stay safe. This conversation was very helpful in demonstrating the Illogic and incoherence of the pro-choice position.

Patrick spends this hour dealing with the sensitive topic of marital relations. This particular hour is for mature audiences only. Helen – Her pastor, during confession, said that the marital acts she and her husband were participating in was not a sin. In marriage, God wants us to be open to the possibility of the transmission of human life, which takes place in a particular way, and that marital act can only be morally completed in one way. Joe (14:39) – I’m not a Catholic yet, but I need to baptize my daughter and the Catholic Church is making me wait. Should I have her baptized in a different church that won’t make us wait? We think in terms of “time” in this life, but in Heaven, there will be no time. Patrick explains how only God can truly satisfy us forever.

Mike, who identifies as a “pro-choice Catholic” medical student attempts to refute Patrick’s statement that “abortion is never necessary to save the life of the mother” by appealing to the tragic example of his own pregnant sister who died of an illness after refusing to abort her baby to save herself.
