Having hotfooted it back from seeing the Hip Priest London album launch gig I managed to play all the bands I planned to. All of which you can now Stream and Download. Finally, after a 4 month wait, I got to sit down with Alvin Gibbs bassist with the UK Subs and at one time Iggy Pop and Cheap & Nasty. Along with pertinent questions regarding Alvin’s solo album “Your Disobedient Servant” and Croydon (sic) I air some accompanying solo material. However, before all that though you’ll get to hear; Ramones, Watts, Los Pepes, Jake Starr and the Delicious Fullness, Rat Scabies and The Wildhearts

“You’ve been unwell” I said to myself “Pre-record Episode 667 as you’re bound to make a flu induced error, which you’ll be able to correct it and tuck yourself into bed earlier.” Well I certainly did tuck myself up as is my wont, if not way, I made a catalogue of errors. Well, all right just the one; The Hip Priests will be playing the Lounge in Camden on the 22nd March and Manchester the following day and not the 24th and 25th like I claimed. Apart from that, over the course of the show, I share three of my Co-Codamol dreams interwoven with tracks from; Hydromatics, Duncan Reid and the Big Heads, The Phobics, Knox, The DeRellas, Alvin Gibbs, Andy McCoy, Johnny Thunders, The Damned, The Hip Priests, Märvel and Speed City Vipers.

So all right I missed pronounced Super$hit666, I mean how hard can it be…..I put it down to my excitement at re-claiming my Mojo after last week’s “not into it” show. Plus, it was Episode 666 so maybe Mister B. L. Zebub had a cloven hoof in it. As predicted by me on unsocial media yesterday, even though I had a shed load of new and exciting stuff to play, I didn’t get it together in time for last night’s Paranoid Squirrel Rock Show on Rock Radio UK. Too much, sleeping, eating and drinking preceded it and not necessarily in that order. So you will hear a whole hours worth of live Ramones instead. Normal (sic) service will resume next week......

With a banging headache, a sore throat, achy limbs and Facebook not wanting to widely advertise the fact, I think I pulled off yesterday evenings Paranoid Squirrel Rock Show without any hiccups. Oh to have been pre-recorded. The best laid plans and all that.
