On this week’s show I apologise for “Bartongate”, still maintain misheard lyrics are correct, discover missing musical files, admit to snubbing a band first time around, believe a song finished another radio show when it didn’t but it should, wonder if you’ve tested positive for Covid 19 would you still need to self Isolate for two weeks if you were going to Dignitas, all to the music of; Jello Biafra, Sex Pistols, Silent Like A Bomb, Dead Hombres, Grand Theft Audio, The Sino Hearts, Ebola Babies, The Beatles, The Ramones, King of Sweden, The Hellacopters, Denis Pauna, Frank Meyer and Billie Joe Armstrong.

Where to I start with this week’s cock ups? Well to be fair there was only one, quite a big one as the wrong Ident was aired for “Compare and Contrast”. I didn’t realise until later on and then proceeded to blame Producer Barton Stacey, who I made cry. Fortunately, due to Convid restrictions (He was shut in the Conservatory so he didn’t have to come into the studio) you can’t hear his wailing, but I certainly could see him gesticulating. I also go old school by taping something off the radio; I bore you with my attempt at being a musician, unearthing 20 year old demos. On this week’s show I remember how great two songs from two different bands sound played together live, fawn over a couple of albums that have Damned connections, finally get to play a track from a delayed album, big up a new Vinyl only Record Label, almost claim misrepresentation until I read the small(ish) print, mention an on-line auction with the money raised going to Save Our Venues, award “Band Name of the Week/Month” and coo over a Powerpop recommendation all to the music of; The Michael Monroe Band, The Sensible Gray Cells, Professor and the Madman, Thee Acid Tongue, Midnight Evils, Lemmy, Warrior Soul, Chris Catalyst, Duncan Reid and the Big Heads, C.O.F.F.I.N., LA Guns, Hilly Michaels and AC/DC.
