On a late night stakeout the agents decide to enter the Garritsen Mansion after the construction crew goes home on a search for evidence of the missing children or worse.

Traveling up the side of the mountain, the investigators must decide when to begin their protective ritual and if there's still time to stop what the Cult of Bloody Tongue has planned.

With a deeper understanding of the horror they face, the scouting party heads back to Fort Niagara. With another furious snow storm looming, they must work together to prevent an even greater tragedy than the ones they've already seen.

Finally out on their own the crew of the freshly named Periphery begin to work their way to the distant planet of Menkar, but a sudden surprise from inside the ship raises an alarm.

A darkness comes at night as the investigators make camp in the village. Lillian and Sam inspect the crops and make a shocking discovery. Sigmund does what he can to ease the suffering of the people, while others bring their case to the Kipsang in hopes of finding help.

Returning to Marhoun, the crew is offered their first big job, but first each crew member makes some final stops before leaving Kua. Icarus sees an old friend, while Fida does a complete inspection of the new ship.
