The Nittany Lions gave up nearly 400 yards of offense to Bowling Green and trailed at the break but found a way to pull off the second half come back and improve to 2-0. James Franklin's team looked like they were sleep walking through the first half defensively letting transfer quarterback Connor Bazelak chew them up for nearly 200 yards. The Nittany Lions ended the regular season with their most complete performance of the 2023 season by blanking the Spartans 42-0.
