Host and NASM Master Instructor Rick Richey is joined by a special guest Dr. Mallory Fox CPT, CES, PES, FNS, WFS. The two discuss the blending of mindfulness practices with exercise to build stress resilience. To be mindful means we focus our attention on the present moment without judgment. 


By practicing mindfulness, the goal is to cultivate the ability to be present to internal thoughts, feelings, stresses, and sensations. This skill helps improve health metrics like blood pressure and heart rate and reduces stress. But how can we do this when we have app notifications, work, family, emails, and a new way of living since the spread of COVID-19?
