Ep 41 - Why I decided to take HRT after an oestrogen driven cancer

When Jo Woolnough asked her oncologist to discuss the use of HRT after her breast cancer diagnosis her oncologist said “No, she can’t have that conversation.” 

In this episode, I want to find out what Jo’s thought processes were in exploring HRT after her oestrogen driven breast cancer and I am curious to hear if Jo got her “Funny back”.

The use of HRT after a cancer diagnosis is a topic that brings with it many conflicting information and opinions. It is my aim to have a non-judgemental conversation that explores one person’s thoughts and decisions, today this is Jo’s story.

And of course, I will share stories from the people in our community.

So that together we can work towards a better menopause experience. For all of us.
