(Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️)Tony Sentmanat - No Limits EP 32
Tony Sentmanat @realworld_tactical is a Marine Corps Veteran and a retired Law Enforcement SWAT Operator with over 22 years of real-world experience. He is a lifelong practitioner in Mixed Martial Arts with extensive experience as a Law Enforcement Combative's Trainer and has been a Firearms Instructor for over 20 years. Tony also has 20 years of experience as a functional strength and conditioning trainer specializing in functional fitness for combat athletes and is an elite powerlifter holding multiple state records. Upon finishing his military service he started his law enforcement career as a State Correctional Officer, and then quickly transferred to become a Law Enforcement Officer. Tony spent most of his career in SWAT where he was involved in over 800 real-world operations before retiring. Tony has been one of my favorite instructors for a number of different reasons over the years. I was extremely honored when he agreed to join forces with us at this upcoming Protector symposium 4.0 training event. His mindset I feel really speaks to me as so many elements that I truly hope more human beings can find a way to access because it would make the world a better and safer place. If you can make your mind unbreakable then your body really will be unstoppable and this is something he has consistently said from the beginning. It is also something I genuinely believe and I know that we’ve both experienced during times and experiences on different battlefields. Not only do I respect his mindset but I also see him as a full spectrum warrior. He’s the type of guy that can do you everything from go hand-in-hand straight into a weapon system and maintain a level of lethality above that of most opponents. Beyond all these things he is a fellow practitioner of one of my favorite martial arts which actually amplifies any martial art you choose to practice which is strongerDanU-Fu you. Tony represents the big boys and has the agility, speed, and power to back it up and I truly appreciate how exemplary that is. Not only is Tony’s background extremely impressive and extensive but he has been making contributions to warfighters, first responders and professional protectors for over a decade and the fact that he actually has a call of duty character model after him makes it easy for me to call him a living legend. It was such an honor to conduct this interview with Tony and I can’t wait to train with him during this upcoming Protector symposium 4.0 on October 1 through the 3rd and we both hope that you’ll join us as well. At the event you will be able to learn from Tony plus five other world-class instructors and for more information on that go to https://www.protectorsymposium.com/ Protector by nature and by trade Byron

PAUL LOZADA - How To Learn Protection From the Streets (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 38
Paul Lozada is the real deal and these days that’s very difficult to find. His exploits on the street chasing fugitives and as an undercover cop will blow your mind. Beyond all of this his work with a number of extremely successful Hollywood films it’s truly something that is the work of legends. Movies such as Training Day, Men on Fire, Tears of the Sun and The Equalizer are some of the movies he has influenced in many ways such as tactics, storyline as well as the overall look and feel we enjoy. All and all Paul is a modern-day warrior, family man and a protector of the highest order. We had an amazing conversation on many different topics here but honestly we only scratched the surface with regards to the things he’s done. There is so much here for everyone to add to the toolbox. Fabio Spinella - My Own Defender - (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 37
Fabio is a perfect example of what one civilian can do if he truly wants to become an elite Protector. One of the things I love about him the most is simply that he is a civilian who has chosen a path that has empowered him to perform at some of the highest levels in the game with regards to not only professional protection at times but also he also empowers others to become efficient protectors also. People ask me all the time how they can begin learning how to use firearms and in these turbulent times, this question is all too relevant. I repeatedly send them to Fabio because not only does he perform at those levels that many of us simply just dream of achieving one day but he’s also an amazing instructor that understands firearms on so many levels that he’s able to meet people where they’re at and teach them very effectively. He has experience learning and implementing these skills through competitions and an ocean of courses and therefore he understands what information out there is garbage and what actually works when it comes strictly to performance. In a world where there’s so much hype, theory and artificial tactics designed more as a marketing strategy than to empower the shooter to survive… Men like Fabio are so needed as leaders and instructors within the firearms community today. If you’ve just purchased a firearm please keep in mind that the firearm you’ve selected is way less important than the training you choose because that’s ultimately what will run that weapon and can save your life. I cannot stress the importance of training enough. We have a saying in the personal protection game, “rookies spend money on hardware while professionals spend money on software“. My advice is for you to get involved in some of Fabio‘s training no matter where you’re at in your firearms skills because I guarantee there’s so much more left to learn that he will show you. Beyond all of these things Fabia was a close friend and someone at the table of my inner circle… There’s so much in this interview for everyone, enjoy. Antonio Molina - California Range Weekend (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 36
California range weekend is going to be out of this world. The talent that Antonio is bringing out into one place is something I don’t think has been done in California on the range ever before. California is an interesting place to be a gun owner because while we have some of the strictest rules we actually have one of the best gun cultures in the United States here. We have so many talented world-class high-level shooters and a number of venues to do things but the community is a bit fragmented and spread out so this weekend is an amazing opportunity to bring us all together in one place under one roof. Antonio I believe is definitely on the right track putting this event together and based on what it looks like going into this… This event is only going to get bigger and better and be here for a long time. During this interview, we are going to the specifics about California range weekend and we also get to know Antonio on a deeper level. Antonio is simply another example of what one man can do if he has the faith and balls to step out and go after his dreams… I love stories and conversations like this, there is something in here for everyone. Remi Adeleke - Navy Seal Mindset for Success (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 35
Remi is a man I truly respect for many reasons and on many levels. His book took me on a journey within his life that allowed me to see myself from various angles. The transformation that has taken place in his life has made him an amazing example of a man for many of us to take note of. His character, consistency and follow through with his goals is something that we can all truly learn quite a bit from. I always respect a man who has been able to rise from the ashes of an aggressive upbringing and turn things around for himself. So much of what we’re doing here as humans require that we all learn how to do those things for ourselves and our own lives by the grace of God. There are simply are no excuses and Remi is a living, breathing example of that. His journey from the hood to the Navy SEALs and into entrepreneurship and even show business will give you a glimpse at the formula for getting what you want out of this life. Beyond all of this make sure you listen to or purchase his latest book TRANSFORMED, it was amazing. Jared Wihongi - Survival Edge Tactical Systems (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 23
Jared Wihongi is a rare breed of warrior. With a background in contracting, martial arts, and law enforcement he has acquired many amazing accomplishments. As a lifelong Filipino martial artist, he’s acquired the Title of Tuhon. As a law-enforcement officer, he has trained many units and served as a SWAT officer for many years. As a man, he is raising an amazing family and is very connected to his Maori New Zealand roots. So much of what I hope the world someday comes to understand about warriors is that we are so much more than our combative, tools and physical strength. In order to be effective at all of those things, we must possess a healthy route system and an ecosystem that actually makes us truly the types of assets we train to be for the tribes we serve. These disciplines must be present not only in the gym, the range, or dojo but in all other aspects of life as well if we are ultimately to be healthy. Jared is a prime example of what that type of warrior and that type of lifestyle looks like. Beyond all of this is an integrated combative system SURVIVAL EDGE TACTICAL which brings all aspects of protection together into one effective system. Mike Pannone - HOW TO GUNFIGHT AROUND VEHICLES (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 33
⚜️Mike Pannone is a former operational member of U.S. Marine Reconnaissance, Army Special Forces (Green Beret) and 1st SFOD-D (Delta Force) as well as a competition USPSA pistol shooter holding a Master class ranking in Limited, Limited-10 and Production divisions. He has participated in stabilization, combat and high-risk protection operations in support of U.S. policies throughout the world as both an active duty military member, and a civilian contractor. During this conversation we look at a number of real-world altercations in order to fit tactics for personal protection call into the minds of our listeners. Mike Pannone is simply a living legend and we are all honored to learn from him both during this conversation and at our upcoming Protector Symposium 4.0. Thomas Praxedes - Afghanistan Update (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 31
Thomas Praxedes is easily one of the best Marines I had the honor of serving with. He was my big brother when I got to my unit 31 Lima company weapons platoon. He was a stand-out Fallujah marine and he was with me as we kicked off the battle for Haditha and Iraq. I was literally in his squad as we ran into the city behind tanks and trenches we had just blown through a minefield at something like 3:30 AM in the morning. He taught me how to fight, kept me alive, and helped me understand what war was all about in the first place. He went on to fight in Afghanistan and retired as a gunnery sergeant of Marines. I tell you this to help you understand why it doesn’t surprise me at all that he is still trying to do what he can to represent America well and help those who have helped us. Currently, he’s assisting in the evacuation of those who have helped our great nation in Afghanistan and this podcast is all about the real-world situation on the ground. This conversation is also designed to ring the alarm and hopefully attract people, relationships and any assets that may help in the endeavor of rescuing those who helped us during a time of war but are now stuck behind enemy lines. This podcast is all about protectors and that is why I think it is important that we take a look and how he is doing what he can to protect even as a veteran outside of the Armed Forces. There’s something we can all do so figure it out, grab a tool, make a contribution and let’s make this world a safer place by utilizing the skills we all bring to the table. James Guthrie - How to survive an attack at the office (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 30
James Guthrie AKA 'Machete James' is a good God-fearing family man. One day he was simply doing his job at work when a machete-wielding customer enters the building bent on killing him and a few of his coworkers. The fight to save his life and the lives of those in his immediate environment was brutal, fast-paced and totally caught on camera. I won’t tell you what happened because I want you to listen to the episode and watch the video for yourself but obviously, James is here and we are honored to have him. I’m proud of this man because he has worked on himself in multiple areas of combatives during the course of his life and in the video and through our conversation you can see how the habit of studying hard skills and protection skills can really come together to make a man a modern hero when the time comes, period. This real world account of how James survived and protected innocent people from real evil and true violence stands as a testament to the man he truly is and really fortifies the statement that protection is more than a job, it really is a lifestyle. This to my point that some people have the protector DNA and it doesn’t matter what job they do they will always be protectors. ENJOY! Protector by nature and by trade Byron

Craig Douglas - How to fight in close quarters (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 29
If you ever need to watch how Craig Douglas teaches then you had better have trained it. This is the formula one of personal protection that most do not teach or cannot teach realistically. Craig Douglas has an amazing background spending decades of studentship, instructorship and training elite fighting forces around the world. He is probably the foremost instructor within his niche when it comes to those who truly must know how to implement this discipline of protection. This type of protection is like a parachute. When you need a parachute, all you need is a parachute and I hope you never need a parachute but want you to have one if the day ever comes. This applies to all of us because if you need to defend yourself against an enemy who is right on top of you, 5 feet in then what he teaches can truly save your life. Can you draw your CCW pistol or blade under consistent human pressure? This extremely important component of personal protection is why we have had him as one of our elite instructors for multiple live events and why he will be teaching this year at the upcoming Protector Symposium 4.0. Beyond all of that, he is a truly modern man in every sense of the word and he dispenses content and information that helps boys become men on his platform. This episode will help you understand the theories behind what he teaches, how it applies to you no matter what your job or walk of life is and where you can start learning this rare but very important skill. Make no mistake, if what you’re learning cannot be replicated and tested safely but closely to the speed of reality then you probably shouldn’t rely on it… Don’t miss your chance to learn from him at this upcoming Protector Symposium 4.0 along with four other elite instructors who’ve been training the best fighting force is around the world for decades.… ENJOY! 💥💥💥💥🔥🎫Get your tickets now for the PS 4.0 👉https://www.protectorsymposium.com/ 👈🔥💥💥💥💥 👉 More about Craig here https://www.shivworks.com/

Protector Nation Podcast EP28: Breaking Barriers United
Ryan of Breaking Barriers United (https://www.breakingbarriersunited.com/) is one officer that I believe is truly doing God's work. We are currently dealing with a bombardment of divisive narratives, theories and ideas these days that simply do not solve the problems they talk about or make us stronger as a human race. For a number of reasons, there has been quite a bit of social engineering devoted to keeping us fighting one another rather than working towards solutions designed to make all of our tomorrow’s brighter, better and more unified. As cooperate is always superior to the competition, Ryan has been doing his part as a police officer to generate educational media and content to solve problems and bring human beings closer together no matter what side or the blue line they exist on. Some of his most notable work is actually done on social media through his Instagram account @breaking_barriers_united where he does his own version of tactical reviews, tackling popular videos, to educate the public and law enforcement on ideas and tactics that make everyone better. He’s having some high friction conversations in an effort to help us all understand on deeper levels what police officers are dealing with, doing right and also what they could be doing better in order to give the public a safer and more effective experience. Ultimately Ryan is an empowering and uniting individual with who I believe we are all blessed he’s doing the work he’s doing without our law enforcement communities but also in the greater world. Ironically he never wanted to be a police officer I never thought he could do the job but once he began his journey, he’s found a way to contribute positively to much-needed problems and start conversations that simply need to be had. There is something in this episode for everyone. God bless and Semper Fi Protector by nature and by trade Byron

Protector Nation Podcast EP27: Resilience
This episode with Emily Chen was truly a special one. It is a real-world story of sex trafficking that took place within her life. At first glance, you may think this is something she experienced in another country but that would be incorrect. It actually happened right here in America at an upper-class ZIP Code and in a place where most of us would least expect it. Many Americans fail to realize that the sex trafficking industry is one of the biggest in the world and is taking place all around them. It is something that every one of our children needs to be equipped with in order to avoid and be aware of, because this epidemic can strike at absolutely anyone and it truly affects all of us whether you realize it or not. I commend Emily for her bravery, perseverance and resilience in the way she was alive and for sharing this story. She’s become a very impressive firearms instructor and an even more beautiful human in the face of the pitch-black horrifying experience of this episode. There truly is something in this episode for everyone and it’s the type of conversation that can make us all better protectors, parents, friends, and people in general.… ENJOY! Alex Pineschi - Hunting ISIS (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 26
Alex is one of the most impressive men I have met in a while in many ways. Almost every guest that has been on our shell has many amazing qualities and usually accomplishments to go along with it but the things I see in Alex are the things I hope to see more in the world around us these days. He has a big heart and he’s been in the belly of the beast long enough to know how important it is to hold humility close. I see this dynamic with many men who have actually been to combat and seen the dark side of the moon. The real ones are usually the most humble, down-to-earth, and nicest people you’ve ever met, whereas the fake ones are always trying to act tough because they’re still trying to prove themselves to themselves and they’re afraid that people around them will somehow see through their fake armor. Alex is the real deal, he volunteered to go overseas and fight ISIS, then he spent nearly a lifetime over there doing that work for a nation that was not his own. To be a fighter that simply stands up for right or wrong regardless of what nation you belong to is exactly the type of warrior this planet needs these days. This is a podcast about real-life struggle, combat, mindset and experience. As always there is something within this episode for everyone and I consider it a genuine honor to have this conversation with Alex. Protector by nation and by trade Byron

Trung Nguyen - How to become an elite Protector (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 25
Trung is truly a visionary and the type of warrior I really like to feature on this podcast. Being a protector is very much about being tactically proficient but it has so much more to do with so many other things. Most specifically soft skills, mindset, your paradigm and your perspective will dictate your tactics on the battlefield of life and I don’t just mean in a gunfight. If you don’t have the skills you simply will lose in so many more ways than you can imagine. Being a true protector and a true warrior these days requires that we understand all of these things. Trung is the type of leader that does because he’s had to leverage self-reliance, drive, purpose and discipline all throughout his life. Growing up in the hood, working with the Rangers and on into the swat team in Chicago, the war has never stopped for him but has all made him a better man because of the way he’s chosen to deal with these things. Beyond all that, choosing to be an entrepreneur is one of the most challenging battles anyone can step into which is why most people simply don't. I’m looking forward to seeing all the amazing things he does with his next moves and I’m proud to see how far he’s come. It’s a genuine honor and privilege to spend this time with him during this episode and there is so much packed in here for everyone who will listen.

Erich Schmidt - How to protect your social media (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 24
Erich Schmidt is a good friend who I’ve known for many years. We’ve seen each other evolve in different directions of the protection game for well over a decade now and it’s always an honor when we get to work together. This is the second episode I’m doing with him and you can find the first one in season one (https://byronrodgersmotivation.com/episode-35-cyber-security-how-much-can-cyber-threats-truly-impact-your-life/). These days Erich is a specialist who understands how to leverage technology for protection. He’s worked for local agencies all up and down the spectrum from the top of the game to those in between in order to rescue and protect good people. As the digital age continues to gain momentum, there are certain disciplines that we all must begin to consider if we are to keep ourselves safe. The reason for this episode is to help us understand how we can better protect ourselves, our loved ones and our clients from predators that lurk all around us in the cyber realm of this reality. These topics are not to be taken lightly as they have to do with ways that innocent people are victimized many times every single day. Erich is a man with an exemplary character who’s been behind the scenes fighting a silent battle that many people don’t even know exists, it is a thankless job and for that, it is even more commendable. Tim Clemente - The Power of Stories (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 22
Tim Clemente is a living legend in many circles. While many of us have never known who he is or what he’s done he has impacted the world in his own way in a number of different elite fighting forces. He’s been an FBI special agent, swat team member, and an undercover drug smuggler assisting in the takedown of a major Mexican cartel. He’s been called one of the best terrorist hunters in the world and has been a subject matter expert on a number of major news outlets. Beyond all of this he’s also impacted Hollywood by acting as a creative consultant on films and TV series such as NCIS: Los Angeles, The Unit, Lie To Me, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, and feature films, including Now You See Me, Smokin’ Aces 2 and Killer Elite. Tim has 2 film scripts currently in production/casting: .38 and Secret Soldiers. The information and experience Tim brought to this interview were astounding… It’s always an honor to talk to a man who’s been there, done it all, and is humble enough to continue contributing and trying to share. There’s something in this interview for every protector… ENJOY! Protector by nature and by trade Byron

Michael Janich - Where to start with self-defense (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 21
Michael Janich is a living legend when it comes to martial arts. He’s been in the game for about as long as I’ve been alive and has been featured in many publications over the span of a few decades. It’s a rare occasion to have an opportunity to learn from men like this and so I consider it to be such an honor that he took time to speak with me on our podcast. Integrated Combatives is something that many instructors take a swing at but as you’ll see during this interview Michael definitely has something very special with regards to his system “Marshall blade concepts“. His approach is very effective on many levels beyond the realms of things I see being taught to the masses and the greater public online right now and I believe that has everything to do with his experience, pedigree, and mindset. He is an instructor amongst instructors who has an extremely robust brand with training opportunities both online and in person. If you are taking protection seriously you realized that there is so much more to this game than firearms but his brand includes training for those tools as well. Tom Leitner - Why men should become monsters (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP 20
Tom Leitner of Adaptiv Concepts is many things, the modern-day mountain man, Combatives Instructor, Tactical Driving Instructor, edged Weapon self-defense practitioner and it’s truly all very impressive. What interests me most however about this man is his philosophies, ethos, and his paradigm. Many of us who have seen the Darkside of the moon already know that an individual‘s mindset is what really makes a difference in combat, self-defense, survival in everyday life. Tom is a practitioner of many things that are combat Centric within the realm of hard skills but he’s also a practitioner of creating an adaptive and dynamic mind. I am always honored and intrigued when I run into warriors like him because I truly believe these types of individuals are the real deal. There are so many show ponies out there online these days that it’s always refreshing to dive deep into someone who not only trains themselves to be an asset physically but also knows why they believe what they believe and how to use it effectively and is a weapon mentally as well. We dive into philosophy at times during this interview and find ourselves coming up on the other side in the realm of real-world combative. As always there’s something for everyone in this episode, enjoy! Protector by nature and by trade Byron

Joanna Clodfelter - Why women should become shooters (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP18
Joanna is a different type of tactical instructor. She’s not a Navy seal, law enforcement, or special forces operative of any type but rather she is a woman who has experienced the evil she now fights against. As she travels across the United States aiming to contribute to the protection IQ of everyday people, she brings with her a gift that came at a high price.… Experience. She has been honored with the tragedy she now fights in the world by helping those who don’t understand protection learn how to protect themselves. After her own tragic attack, one in which she was victimized for hours on end, she has now risen from the ashes of that tragedy stronger on a mission to empower the public in a way that will make sure these types of events happen less frequently as a result of a more competent public with regards to personal protection. Tragedy affects us all in many different ways but the thing I respect most about her is simply that she has chosen not just simply be a victim but rather she has chosen to leverage her experiences in order to help everyone including herself grow stronger from them. This is the type of mental alchemy I speak of so frequently and with her brand vogue defense, she brings to bear a very intriguing synergy of everyday life, fashion, and the weapons/tactics of personal protection. In my opinion, this makes her a hero of the highest order. It’s an honor to be able to share her story, her experiences, and her opinions on this podcast. This episode has something for everyone including much of her real-world story, tips, and tactics for women getting into personal protection, and also discussion about moral high ground between men, women, and mortal combat. ENJOY! Get to know more about her - http://voguedefense.com/ https://instagram.com/voguedefense

Jason Johnson - How to knife fight (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP17
Jason - is a breath of fresh air for me every time I speak with him. He’s a man that lives by old codes and he's old school when it comes to a number of things and I always appreciate those attributes. He has perfected the art of throwing knives to a point of almost supernatural ability. Watching him do what he does with blades it’s like watching a magic show, a butcher shop, and a western movie all at the same time. It’s one of those things you see someone and think, that’s impressive but I can never do that. The interesting thing about this interview is simply that he explains so much not only about NY finding dynamics but he also explains how he can teach normal people to throw knives effectively as well. This is what truly got my attention and I look forward to doing a number of things with Jason as well as rolling out some training in the near future. He definitely feels like a brother at this point. This interview will probably blow your mind… Enjoy!

Bazzel Baz - How to fight human trafficking (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP16
Bazzel Baz has emerged to be one of the most special men I have interacted with in a very long time. A true warrior of the physical and spiritual kind. Individuals like him are of the rarest breed in my opinion and experience and I can only hope that as I evolve and mature, one day I can join the ranks of these great men. Bazzel has lived the life of a warrior and has done everything from CIA special operations leadership roles to Marine Corps Unit leadership roles to even having a career in Hollywood. The question I think that is posed to a man after he has climbed most of the mountains he has seen and survived many battlefields that have swallowed up so many of the best of us is simply what fight do I contribute to next? What battle may I be honored to participate in and what adversity deserves my attention given the skill sets and experience a warrior like this acquires on his journey. So these days Bazzel Baz finds himself leading an elite organization rescuing children called “Association for the recovery of children” (ARC). This organization is the real deal, not the type of place you just give money to so you feel better and can sleep better at night but rather the type of place that puts boots on the ground and snatch the children from pitch-black darkness. We’ve got more than an epidemic of children missing in America and around the world and they’re being sold into modern-day slavery but you won’t hear anything about it in the media because they’re so busy causing social disruption over trivial issues that are designed to weaken the public. We live in an age of modern-day child sex slavery and I’m honored to be connected to a man who, by the grace of God, has to do his part at ending legitimate modern atrocities. We talk about everything in this episode from the current state of America to Bazzl‘s CIA operations and about the work that can be done for our children being stolen and sold to the highest bidder on the black market… Enjoy! Protector Nation Podcast EP15: Build Yourself Up
I have always spoken of firearms as the ultimate equalizer. It doesn’t matter how strong, weak, big, or small, if you know how to use a gun, you have a say on the outcome of a situation with regards to humans. This is why I believe all females should really take a serious understanding of how to use multiple weapon systems but in this case Firearms specifically. Gina is a woman who has chosen to do something in order to empower new shooters and most specifically women on their journey of becoming confident with Firearms. What I respect about her is simply that she hasn’t chosen to wait until she’s perfect for the most involved with regards to combat arts but she’s chosen to train with and train others while she’s on her journey. The results are truly priceless as she has assembled her shooting club and has positively impacted the lives of many new shooters. I wanted to have her on the show for this episode in order to discuss the best way to get female shooters started, great pistols for females, and grace other subjects along those lines. The reality simply is that we all know women we would like to keep safe and to teach to defend themselves and this episode will give all of us insight on how to do that more effectively. Thanks to Gina.

Mike Glover - How to be prepared for catastrophe (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP14
With everything we are facing as a nation and all of the changes that are taking place extremely rapidly within American culture, I am truly honored that Mike Glover is doing what he is doing in the world. With an extensive background and army special forces, the CIA, and creating counterterrorist task forces, Mike has lived a life that has prepared him to make the types of contributions American news needs right now. Between fieldcraft survival and American contingent just to name a few, he has created a full spectrum of organizations that can truly help Americans not only be prepared but also require the training they need to be forced multipliers to protect themselves and their families during times of disaster and turbulence. Mike is a different type of leader with a full spectrum of tools that I rarely see in one person. His experience, intellect, ability to teach and speak along with his real-world experience to make him one of the kind. Additionally, with the experience, he’s had out in the field creating and managing successful teams an austere environment has given him the ability to run his multiple corporations and an extremely high-level benefits to the end-user that are rarely seen these days. I’m honored to be connected with them and I will forward to everything that has to come as his contributions of all and as we get the range together. This episode is all about being prepared for the worst, detecting deception in our culture, and understanding what it truly takes to keep yourself and your family safe… ENJOY! https://fieldcraftsurvival.com/

Tim Larkin - How to use violence (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP13
Tim Larkin is a lifelong martial artist who has been living the mission of helping good people become more willing capable and prepared to deal with violence for decades. It’s truly an honor to be able to join forces with him for this episode as he brings a number of real-world experiences and a wealth of knowledge to his target focus and a hand combat discipline. This is an art he’s been teaching to law-enforcement and military professionals for many years along with responsible civilians who want to understand the inner workings of violence. He has a well-established and very robust brand that you can genuinely get lost in but that will really help you not only on a physical level but on a psychological level understand the inner workings of violence. This is something everyone should truly seek to understand before being faced with needing to know how to deal with it effectively. I Violence is down and dirty, it’s not pretty by any means so many people shy away from understanding it but one of the things we talk about in this episode is simply the fact that through understanding it you can become a better person on many different levels… additionally I am very excited and honored to join forces with him on our new protector nation project so look forward to learning much more from him there as well. This episode has something for everyone. ENJOY!

Mike Ink-Monsterr - How policing has become political (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP12
Mike Shaw was a police officer for 10 years where he served various roles in patrol and drug task force operations. He took training seriously and found ways to improve his fitness, shooting abilities, and tactics. He began a couple of years ago growing his social media with the intent to help others, motivate people (especially police) to train and stay fit. This is where I saw quite a bit of crossover because my brand is also geared towards people who see protection as more than just a job because we all know it requires a lifestyle to truly be able to perform at a respectable level with regards to our craft. We cover a wide variety of topics during this interview, some controversial, and some will simply reinforce what it is you already know. At the end of the day, Mike Shaw is the type of guy I’d like to have with me when the rubber meets the pavement because he puts the hours in to be the type of guy who can be depended on and that’s what I hope to see more professionals strive to be like within the first responder and private security communities... The funny thing is that this way of life and these principles are also parallel within the civilian world so put in the work because in order to be the man you’ve got to become the man and that requires a process.

Brady Pesola - How to become a survivalist (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP11
Every once in a while, a Marine comes along and wants to make even more of a contribution. Brady seems to be one of those types of Marines. Although he has already completed his service, he continues to serve the communities and cultures he belongs to on many levels and in extracurricular ways. He is now an executive protection agent which is initially how I stumbled across him. He has a nonprofit that helps veterans find their way through taking them out in nature to do hunts, hikes, camp trips, etc. to use nature as therapy. One of his newer products and projects is what initially caught my eye which is the “Gray Man Project“ where he aims to train people of the gray man mentality and way of life in order to empower them to protect themselves and their families. It was an absolute honor to have this conversation with Brady as there are so many crossovers and overlaps between the two of us and the paradigms we live by, there will be many more things to come out of this relationship but for now, enjoy this podcast and get plugged into work this man is doing because there will be some really big things coming down the line. ENJOY! https://www.instagram.com/gray.man.project/ https://www.instagram.com/triplebadventures/ https://www.tba.vet/

Kirk Robinson - An RN talks about COVID-19 (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP10
With so much going on around the topic of COVID-19 I figured it would benefit all of us to hear from a very close friend of mine who is operating on the front lines, he works urgent care in Las Vegas where there’s quite a break out right now. His name is Kirk Robinson and he was my Corman back when I was in the Marine Corps, we fought in a war together and still talk on a weekly basis to this very day. Recently I posted a video with him sharing some experiences he’s having with different patients and Instagram actually banned the video… I figured since I’m not free to share my thoughts, his experiences or anything outside of their narrative on their platform; I figured I just use my own because what I think is most important is to have more opinions and more critical thinkers and more experiences brought to light on this issue. The goal of this podcast is to give the listener a realistic perspective on what people are experiencing with regards to this virus on a daily basis. Doc Robinson is what we called him in the Marine Corps so that’s why you hear me refer to them as throughout the interview. Nonetheless he is seeing patients who are actively dealing with this virus on a daily basis and our message is simply that the only thing to fear is fear itself. Understand the problem, come up with an efficient strategy and move forward boldly. I believe this podcast will be the first in a series… ENJOY https://instagram.com/kirkrobinson

Byron Rodgers - Moving forward (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP9
In this episode, I talk about Life… Struggle… Purpose… Focus and the overall path to success. I have a series in my other podcast called “Considerations“ and this is where I just simply freestyle and share with you things I have on my mind along with tools I’ve used that have been integral on my journey to achievement. Protection isn’t always just a physical endeavor. In fact, those who operate at the highest levels understand that much of this game we play is driven by and is simply a manifestation of the technology we are running internally and behind the scenes. Without the right software, your hardware is useless and so from time to time, I will simply dive deep into the armory of my own heart and mind to expose and share with you all things that I believe are some of the most important components to success in life and the protection of your purpose on this planet. At the end of the day my goal is to make, help, and contribute to the fostering of protectors on this planet and that means the cultivation of higher quality humans overall. There’s something for everyone in this episode and until we meet again I want to encourage you to; find your purpose, live with passion, and reach your destiny.

VICTOR MARX - How to fight human trafficking (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP8
Victor Marx is a very unique and amazing man and his story is one of restoration and metamorphic triumph on many levels. I actually met him at a marriage retreat years ago for the first time. Since then we bumped into each other on numerous occasions as we run around some of the same circles apparently. Nonetheless, when I first heard him speak, many of my perspectives were changed forever. He has a background in martial arts and has been hailed by the Guinness Book of World Records to have the fastest firearm disarm on the planet. A few of these things may have been partial claims to fame but truly all they do is get your attention and as you bring this amazing man and to focus you begin to realize that there is so much more strength, depth, love, and contribution coming out of Mr. Marx. Coming from a childhood laced with many different types of abuse, Victor has turned his life around and is now a world-renowned hero to children around the world for the many missions his organization conducts to snatch children from trafficking organizations. Nigeria, Cambodia, Iran, the West Bank, Iraq, Iran, and Syria are just a few places that Victor, his wife in their organization regularly conducts operations to save lives and rehabilitate victims. I have much respect for Victor because he's a godly man that puts more than his money where his mouth is, he puts butts in seats and boots on the ground behind his God-given mission and he seems to do it with the right heart and I think that's all that even God can ask a man during his time here on Earth. This is an example of a protector on many levels, there is something in here for everyone, including some amazing stories from life out in the field and around the world… ENJOY!

RAZ SIMONE - Interview with the King of Chaz (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP7
The king of Chaz (formally known as Capitol Hill in Washington state) goes by many different names apparently, he has been called a monarch, a warlord, and also an Airbnb kingpin. He’s not on the left or the right, he’s not Antifa, he’s not autonomous for the USA surprisingly... His stage/street name is RAZ. He is a local rapper who grew up in the area, who has a deep understanding of the social and cultural climate. Lastly, his given name is Solomin Simone and he’s my cousin. As many of you know I grew up partially in the Bahamas and partially in Washington state where Solomin and I both lived at my grandma's house for the first part of our lives. We grew up, chose our paths and now things seem to be coming more and more full circle the older we get. Solomin has always been a free thinker, a wise young man and a force to be reckoned with. He’s a natural leader and therefore I’m not even minimally surprised that he is somewhere around the Apex of things taking place in his environment. He’s always been a protector, he lives his life in a way that would show you that he knows he’s strong to protect the weak and make a positive difference. This is something that runs in our blood, it is a family value and it’s an example of healthy masculinity. I’m very proud of my cousin, not only for what he’s doing now within his community but also for what he’s accomplished as a man. In this episode, we do what we wish more Americans would do, talk about current issues, respectfully disagree on some things, seek to improve our perspectives and opinions and seek to learn from one another. He also explains the truth about what’s really going on in Capitol Hill. Enjoy! https://instagram.com/razsimone?igshid=115pbsqehj849 https://linktr.ee/razsimone

Shooter Rughi - How to act in the face of violence (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP6
Shooter Rughi is now known to the world as the guy who snatched a rifle from the hands of a rioter during the George Floyd protests. His act of heroism was quick, decisive, violent, and effective. When you see him interact with the rioter, there is a distinct difference between the two human beings. One of them embodies the cool, calm but aggressively calculated body language of a professional, while the other person is just kind of bubbly and haphazardly flopping around not knowing what is about to happen. One of them has grown up on video games and the other has been overseas fighting for the country dealing with real anarchy and broken governments for years. When the former is confronted with the situation, he does not know how to act or react so he simply gives in. This is what violence of action, decisiveness and the type of certainty that only comes from making decisions prior to action can give you during a dynamic and kinetic violent encounter. I relate to Shooter Rughi as he did what he thought any Veteran/American/Protector would do in that situation. He saw these criminals vandalizing and burglarizing a police car and when they stole the rifles that were in the unit, he went into action. Many of you have seen the news article and the video clips but if you haven’t I want you to look it up, you’ll find them on both mine and his Instagram accounts. It is an outstanding example of what Americans stand for and once again must become. It is also an example of exactly the types of civilians we want to contribute to, at the Protector Nation. Because the more good people who can become willing, capable, and prepared to deal directly with evil and violence, the safer the world will be. The best part about Shooter Rughi is simply that he is a United States Marine Corps infantrymen and when I heard that… It explained everything. As a real good and simple conversation between two grunts talking about the modern-day protectors. My hope is that this conversation and Shooter Rughi’s actions from the other day inspire more Americans to help the civilian population police its own regardless of worldview or political stances.

Scott Babb - How to survive a knife attack (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️) EP5
This interview With Scott is one for the books. He is a humble, modern-day martial artist who has put his heart and soul in developing a knife fighting system that is relevant to the modern world. As he says it, he has consolidated many lessons he’s learned from many amazing people to help good people be more willing capable and prepared. We go into all things related to everyday carry knives, knife fighting, knife survival tactics, and many other topics on the path of the blade. It was an absolute honor to have him on the show and I look forward to doing quite a bit more with this modern-day knife fighting expert. Scott Babb is a lifelong martial artist and the founder of Libre Fighting, the most widely recognized knife-based combat system in the world today. He is considered one of the world's leading and most innovative voices on the subject of knife combat. Andrei Arlovski - How to have a fighters mindset (Protector Podcast EP4🎙️)
This interview with Andrei was fantastic, he in some ways seems to be a very simple man but in other ways, he’s very sophisticated. He explains that he is a perfectionist while at the same time he has a funny European sense of humor. What I found most interesting and inspirational about this conversation is that it reinforces much of what should be known about the true warrior spirit. Real warriors are not fighting because they want to be tough or because they even like or want to combat most of the time. The truest, longest lasting and hardest warrior to defeat is the man who is fighting for his tribe. It’s the man who is fighting not to glorify himself but to protect, provide, and serve all of the people he loves whether they're beside him or behind him. Andrei, throughout this interview, consistently makes the point that he is fighting for the people he loves and as a result, he has not only been able to fight longer than many others have but also to have a very rich and fruitful career as a fighter in the UFC. I give much respect to this former heavyweight champion not only for his accomplishments but also for the type of man he is and continues to try to be as he moves on in his life. He is one very good example of a protector, provider, and a true warrior through and through. You’ll understand once you hear the interview, Enjoy!

Protector Nation EP3: How to improve situational awareness (Protector Podcast 🎙️)
Yousef Badou teaches what I think is simply the most important component of protection, situational awareness coupled with the ability to read and predict people through human behavior. As I try to spread the art of a protection like a virus I have found Yousef to be one of my greatest allies simply because spreading soft skills is easier than spreading hard skills and so we aim to spread situational awareness like a virus. When people know what pre-threat indicators to truly look for, people will be able to shut down violence before it starts and avoid it altogether. This is the art of behavioral profiling that Yousef is arming corporations, places of worship, schools and the world with. It doesn’t matter how big, strong or combat effective you are which is the beauty of this discipline, anyone can get good at this and that’s why it’s so important we bring the art of behavioral profiling to the world. So enjoy this episode and send it to all of your loved ones! Protector by nature and by trade Byron Rodgers

Jared Reston - How to survive violent encounters (Protector Nation Podcast 🎙️)
Violence teaches all of us so much about who we truly are at our very core. Jared is a man who has been there and has brought that knowledge back through his experiences and has used it all to make him a better police officer, instructor, and warrior. Jared Reston is a modern-day warrior. Not only for the things he’s accomplished and continues to accomplish every time he goes out on the job and writes a blank check in order to protect and serve the public but also for his mindset, ethos, and paradigm. This episode with him is one for the books. We talk about many things that only someone who has the types of experiences he has can talk about. I feel that conversations like this are truly sacred and I feel absolutely honored that he was willing to open up on the show in this way. I didn’t detect anything flashy or arrogant about him as he spoke about his experiences but what I believe shines through the brightest in our conversation is his humility and that he knows that he’s just a man who was put on this earth to do a hard job and also his dedication to putting himself between evil people and the innocent. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode with Jared and I believe anyone who listens to it will as well. For more visit on Jared https://www.restongrouptraining.com PROTECTOR by nature & by trade Byron

Protector Nation EP1: Why good people must be dangerous (Protector Podcast 🎙️)
The Protector Nation podcast A.k.a. The Protector Podcast is simply a podcast where we study modern day protectors. A place where we will look into the minds of those men and women who have been warriors for a great causes that they believe in. We will study people who have had the privilege of protecting in real time, in real life and who have emerged victorious and also failed but survived to tell the story. Our goal is to help good people become more willing capable and prepared to protect themselves and their loved ones. Primarily we do this through digital content, live events and now this podcast is just one more tool we are using to educate protectors about what it truly takes to do the job when the time comes.
