Continuing with our random year generator, ahead of Killers of the Flower Moon, the boys head to Martin Scorsese's mid-80s crisis of faith when he hated Reagan, film studios, and couldn't get The Last Temptation of Christ made. So he made After Hours, a Hitchcock-inspired puzzle of a neo-noir shotgun indie that defines what a midlife crisis can be for a film maker. It's also apparently a comedy! We discuss our favorite Marty's, his conversations about the state of cinema, and this surprising film.
