The Love of Cinema

This week, the boys head to Sicily to try and save cinema with 1989’s “Cinema Paradiso”! This highly regarded film expresses the nostalgia of growing up in post-WWII Italy where a single movie theater was the only source of entertainment for a town. As part of the random year generator series, 2004 was a great year for movies, with over 50 $100m movies and many likable ones. While “Eternal Sunshine” didn’t gross in the top 70, it may be the year’s greatest film.
