Show Notes
This week on the pod John, Dave & Jeff discuss David Fincher's brilliantly directed and acted Mank, streaming on Netflix starring Gary Oldman as the screenwriter of Citizen Kane. We then switch gears to try redeeming Capone, written and directed by Josh Trank, starring Tom Hardy as dementia-riddled Al Capone when he's nearing his final days on earth and neurosyphilis makes him poop the bed. That's available for free with subscription on Amazon Prime.
This is week 4 of our segment "It Was The Best of Film, It Was The Worst of Film", where we look back at a presumed Oscar nominee and a presumed Razzie nominee to highlight the year 2020(ish) in (stream-able) film.
