Amy Jo has recently written a musical, so what a perfect guest for our 'In The Heights' discussion! As always, anytime we say a negative comment about the film, we have to drink! We discuss being a musical theater lover seeing this prescient piece on the screen in NYC, the stories, the characters, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The movie is directed by John Chu, written by Pulitzer winner Quiara Alegria Hudes who co-wrote the musical with Lin-Manuel, and stars Anthony Ramos, Melissa Barrera, Leslie Grace, Corey Hawkins, Gregory Diaz IV, Olga Merediz, Jimmy Smits, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Marc Antony and Mateo Gomez, featuring cameos by Christopher Jackson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Patrick Page and more.
