Show Notes

This week on the pod John, Dave and Jeff recorded and remixed our first live stream on Twitch! We discussed a few news stories, primarily Wonder Woman 1984 heading to HBO Max, then have an engaged conversation with some all time movies, two for their monumental achievement and one for its offensiveness. We begin with Cuckoo's Nest starring Jack Nicholson, directed by Milos Forman. We then head over to Dog Day Afternoon which is just so surprisingly incredible. If you like Al Pacino and you've never seen Dog Day, go f your ignorance. Just kidding, just watch it on HBO Max then listen to this podcast. Lastly, we discuss Death Race 2000, the movie Stallone made before Rocky and the one that almost sunk his nonexistent career. While delightfully self-aware and risky with a Hunger Games-type of premise, it certainly gave itself a lot of hurdles to jump: was it really that bad?
