Five Things To Consider When Buying And Transforming Your New Farm The layout of the property: Whether you're buying a property or leasing one, what is around that property is more important than what is on it. Look beyond the boundaries. Human intrusion ruins a lot of good things: You should look for properties with little human pressure. Make your property the prime property in the area (hub), and the deer from the surrounding property will come to your property at some point as part of their travel. The first thing to focus on is security: If you have the most secure property in an area, that is where they will go when the pressure is on. Security is the most important thing, and once Don figured this out, his success skyrocketed. Food will help populate deer on your farm, especially in the right season.
