Calming Rhodes, laid back drums and a soothing subbass provide the musical bed for Dana Shanti to weave in her dreamy voice. “Remedy“ was written during the pandemic as a self motivational, uplifting monologue for the inner Zen. It’s a beautiful piece of jazzy R&B, reminiscing the mind, body & soul of the J Dilla era and marks the very first collaboration between multifaceted singer-songwriter Dana Shanti and hip-hop producer & loop digger the intern. 🧘 🙏 🧘‍♂️

Mhhhhhh Sundays eh?! Making music with friends. @thisislias came over and laid down some keys & played bass today. Oh and those choirs in the back?!! Ouf! Enjoy this spontaneous session we had today, accompanied by some of Berlin's finest coffee. I haven't uploaded anything to SoundCloud in a minute, so today's the day. Let's see, maybe I'll add more insights to my WIP's in the future.
