The Chinese Bamboo Tree takes 5 years from the time a seed is planted until it actually breaks ground. During that time it's building a foundation of roots that will sustain masssive growth. Once it breaks through, it can grow up to 90 ft in 6 months.

Do an audit of all the things in your life that you have to be grateful for. Genuine gratitude for the good things in your life will create a positive mindset that will propel you forward. Be Grateful!

I see people get frustrated in their careers because they're putting in the work & it seems like nothing is happening yet. Really, they're just heating up & approaching that boiling point. Water boils at 212° so when you think of throwing in the towel, realize you may be at 210° or 211° ... keep grinding!

Urgency creates momentum & in the words of John Maxwell, "Momentum will solve 80% of your problems." Realize that a "We'll get it next week" attitude fosters a losing mentality. Get after it today!

The NFL Draft just wrapped last weekend and from my own time on the football field, to the input from some of the biggest names in football, if there's one trait I'm drafting, it's work ethic. 6th round draft picks will pass up 1st round picks in a heart beat if they're the hardest working person on the team.
