Reaching Tibet with the Gospel
The Gospel has been spreading for over 2000 years. It has reached the uttermost parts of the earth and is continuing to do so. One of these remote places is the high mountains of Tibet. Moms Coming Home For a Higher Calling
Some 65% of kids under 6 years of age are latchkey. Moms grapple with the higher calling. But, what are the things that matter most? Raising children and homeschooling them is not easy. On the one hand, it shouldn’t be that complicated. But it will require faith. That’s the testimony provided by Karen Debeus, as she speaks to her new book "Called Home - Finding Joy in Letting God Lead Your Homeschool".New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Males 3X Worse Off than 1977
Axios.com provides a powerful picture of thirty year old males. They are worse off. . . between 250% and 300% worse off financially and socially than they were in 1977 (using various metrics). The dissolution of character and family has taken a heavy toll. How then does one disciple a nation and change a culture? Whether we are looking at the social and moral degradation found among the Navajo tribes, the Filipinos, or the American suburban types. . . we still have a duty to disciple the nations. It is a long term project, and will no doubt require generations of work. Are we willing to bear down and begin disciple-ing? New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Ariana Grande’s 45 Million Downloads Last Week
Pop singer, Ariana Grande gets 45 million downloads for what may be the most blasphemous song of this generation. It’s feminist. It’s blasphemous. And it represents a somewhat weak attempt to restore the old Canaanite fertility cult. We remind our listeners what happened to Canaan, according to the instructions God gave in Deuteronomy 20:16-18. Ariana Grande claims in the new hit that "God is a woman." We disagree. We also disagree with the gender neutral attempt made by the TNIV translation of the Bible, which has been dragged into the new NIV translation. God is not a woman, and the Bible is not nor should it be gender neutralized. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Pedophilia vs. Homosexual Orientations
The Other Revoice Conference in Wurtzburg, Germany presents a new pedophilia as a natural, unchangeable orientation and to be accepted as such. The encouragement is celibacy for now, as in the case of the Revoice Conference in St. Louis, Missouri. We address the various arguments raised by Christian homosexual apologists on the second half of the program.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Cancel the Revoice Conference
The Revoice Conference starts tomorrow in St. Louis, Missouri. We recommend that the PCA church cancel the Revoice Conference, the pastor resign, the church reconsider the Gospel and instead sponsor a Repent Conference or a Rejoice Conference. What should Christians do in Hawaii and Illinois that have moved to transgender and homosexualize the public schools? We recommend not stumbling children who believe in Jesus. We recommend that parents not normalize evil in the way they speak of the sins of fornication or homosexuality.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
How Does a Church Revive and Reform?
Every story of revival and reformation in any church is exciting. But, this story of how God brought revival and reformation to this church in Chesapeake, Virginia will win your heart. God worked in the hearts of fathers, mothers, and children. Can revival happen in the 21st century? Absolutely. Reformations aren’t easy, because we are swimming against the cultural streams on this one. How does a reformation come? Pastor Carlton McLeod and Kevin Swanson talk about how the miracle can happen today. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Tensions with China Grow
The catalyst for the initiation of wars are usually worldwide depressions, economic threats, and fussing with tariffs. The real root is found in the human heart (see James 4:1-2). Kevin Swanson has a question. China has just become the #1 Economy in the world. China has never had a shot at Military world dominance. So, what in the world is China going to do with 40 million men who can never be married? We take a look at America’s consumer debt and suggest a better way for your 16 year old son. The ELCA Lutheran Church Dies
The ELCA puts an 11-year-old transgendered boy in front of 31,000 Lutheran youth, to explain how the church is a place where everybody can be themselves. That’s a dead church, but what does an alive church look like? What does life look like in a dead world? We analyze a hyper liberal ELCA sermon and find some comparisons with dying conservative churches. What do the dead and dying conservative churches have in common with the dead liberal churches? The Tech Industry’s War on Kids
Could the tech industry be deliberately using technology to destructive ends? Is the tech industry targeting kids, using psychological methodologies guarantees to cultivate addiction? The tech industry is learning how to trigger dopamine, and cultivate addiction in the lives of young kids. We share the secrets of Persuasive Technology and Brain Hacking used by the tech organizations that have found a way to make a ton of money on social media and computer games. Basically, these companies make money off of addictions, sort of like drug pushers you know. Should Christians work for these companies? Should Christians use?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Godless Schools - The Real Problem
Freedom-minded Americans, libertarians, and cowboys are looking for a little liberty out from under draconian controls out on the prairies. President Trump pardoned rancher, Dwight Hammond in the Oregon range scuffle. But, what’s the real problem? After spending time in a federal prison, Dwight figured out the problem was the godless schools. He wants prayer back in the public schools. How did America turned socialist and pro-homosexual? The separation of God from schools is the problem. But, will Christians join us as we insist on a Christian worldview undergirding every subject?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
The Greatest Heroes in History
What are the greatest heroes in history, and what is it that constitutes one of God’s heroes? Sometimes the odds are so rough, one man stands virtually against the whole world. This we find with John Wycliff, Athanasius, and a few others. Kevin Swanson and Douglas Bond get pretty excited about some of history’s greatest heroes in this conversation. No Jesus in Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood
Why can’t we find Jesus in Mr. Rogers’ neighborhood? And whatever happened to family and church? Why is the neighborhood and the community more important than the family and church? What’s the worldview children get out of Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood? We analyze the basic ethical system and worldview of Mr. Rogers, for families that feed their children a steady stream of Christ-less television programs. We also spend a few minutes on Fred Rogers’ deathbed confession. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Was Laura Ingalls Wilder a Racist. . . Feminist?
The American Library Association is yanking Laura Ingalls Wilder’s award. . . for all the wrong reasons, of course. We discuss the sad feminist legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder and Rose Wilder. We take a careful look at Little House on the Prairie, a piece of Americana. It’s hard to make a case for Laura or Pa’s racism. But, these days the noble savage myth is still gaining ground among the academics Turns out, the nobles savages were not as noble as they were made out to be. Why Millennials Don’t Have Kids
The birth rate is set to fall sub 1.0 in America, as the millennial generation earns less money and wants less kids. When women are faced with the question, "Would you rather have a career, or kids?" what would they say? Only 29% of moms with kids will stay home with them these days. But, they’re not having kids — due to child care costs, student loans, and the need for a whole lot of me-time. Harking back to 1 Timothy 5, what is it about not getting married. . . about not bearing children. . . about not guiding the house. . .that gives an occasion to the devil?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Supreme Court Pick - Big Conservative Let Down
It was the most critical political moment in our generation. National Review calls it an “opportunity lost.” NBC News is thankful that the President went for a “full establishment” candidate. Perhaps Brett Kavanaugh is the only shot for Senate approval, but even that demonstrates the weakness of the pro-life cause on the national scene. Republicans just don’t have the principle to pull it off. We also interact with “Born Again” President Jimmy Carter’s Jesus who apparently likes homosexuality and abortion. Nuclear Attack Inevitable Now?
The nuclear age has matured. Forty nations have weapons grade stuff, and there have been 762 known instances of stolen radioactive material. Has modern man experienced a moral maturation? Public Libraries Don’t Share Your Worldview
It is becoming increasingly obvious that the public libraries do not share the Christian worldview. We discuss the test for good literature for our children, and the increasing irrelevance of public libraries in modern life.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
The Big Break for a Pro-Life America
It’s the biggest opportunity for a pro-life America and religious freedoms in this generation, since the election of Ronald Reagan. Kevin Swanson interviews Jenna Ellis, Director of Public Policy for James Dobson Family Institute, for a careful analysis of this opportunity for America. Could this be the beginning of a Roe v. Wade and Obergefell reversal? How will the President get the nominee through a fragmented Republican Senate? This is the making of history, and we are thankful for the mercy of God upon a nation!
Canadian Christians Must Seek Asylum

Christian Leaders Detracted to Wrong Causes
World Vision and other Christian Leaders are upset with Donald Trump over enforcing his immigration laws, and separating jailed suspects from their children. Is anybody thinking biblically on the matter of immigration? Incredibly, both liberal and conservative Christians are arguing their position as “biblical.” However, they want to pick and choose which laws they want. It’s autonomy all over again.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Why Lefties are Going for Infanticide Now
The University Lefties are pretty excited about the pagan practice of infanticide and tribal ritual murders in the Amazon. It’s cultural relativism at its worst. But we still ask the question - what is the difference between the post-Christian abortion fest and the old pagan practice of infanticide? Will Christians maintain anything of a strong ethical stand on anything, given their rejection of God’s law? These are important conversations for our present milieu.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Agreements with Hitler, Iran, and North Korea
Peace agreements with Adolf Hitler, as well as the tyrannical persecutors like North Korea and Iran never work. They just kick the can down the road. However, there is a possibility for peace (not between nations), but via the international, worldwide church.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

No area of moral decline is sharper right now than the area of drug use. It is the most commonly used drug by Christians and non-Christians alike. Christians Dancing with the Stars
Winners this season for the ABC Program, Dancing with the Stars were. . . Christians! But, Focus on the Family review calls the program "sexually-charged" in "all the clothes-shedding, leg-grabbing, floor-crawling maneuvers." So which is it? Christian? Or Non-Christian? Evangelicals Push for Gay Theology
The Catholics and Evangelicals join forces in St. Louis for a conference on “Gay Christians.” The conference includes plentiful professors from Covenant Theological Seminary and Gordon Conwell Seminary. Supreme Court Waffles on Baker
The verdict is in. The U.S. Supreme Court decided not to decide the Denver Baker case. Instead, the court remonstrated the Colorado Civil Rights Commission for being insensitive, disrespectful, rude, and even “hostile” in their disagreement with Jack Phillips’ ethics relating to homosexuality. Even the Supremes were shocked by the animus against Christians represented by the State of Colorado. Why the animus?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Methodists and Others Befriend Gays
The Methodists are accepting 111 homosexual clergy on last count. We take up this common statement, "I have a gay friend." Why would you advertise your friend's sins? Or do people wear this sin as a badge? Should we identify people with a particular sin in this way? Kevin Swanson examines this mindset, and then points out that Jesus did not party with sinners and give them high fives in their sins. He called them to repentance.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Must Conservatives be Pro-Torture?
We were surprised to find that the New York Times was concerned about the “moral rot” of the nation. Were they concerned with parents killing their children and the proliferation of sexual sin? Not really. The liberals call Donald Trump immoral for things like rudeness and his apparent advocacy of torture. Shall the Republican define morality or the liberals define morality? Or shall we define morality by God’s laws? We take a look at the debate on the use of torture by governments which do not submit themselves to the sovereignty of God.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
More Church Leaders Falling
The social and political instability intensifies. Institutions crumble under the weight of the social revolution and the moral chaos of the day. Here is a little commentary on the collapse of the last empire, and a tribute to Tom Wolfe, the best writer of epitaphs for empires anybody ever saw. Age old institutions are cracking right now across the country. No political and religious leader is safe in a revolutionary age. The Me-Toos and the Snowflakes will work their vengeance, without taking a whole lot of interest in God’s law. Nonetheless, Al Mohler makes a good point - this judgment is God’s judgment and it must begin at the household of God. We take a quick look at the removal of Paige Patterson (stripped of “benefits, rights, and privileges”) from his position as President of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Ireland Topples to Abortion
After some 1,400 years of Christian influence in the Western world, finally the last major nation (Ireland) topples to the pro-death, anti-Christian position. Some end times gurus are asking the question, “Is this the end of the millennium?” The Catholics have no influence in Ireland, and the Protestant Christians have lost influence as well. No single person has ever made more of an impact on the world than Jesus Christ. This statement would have been hard to say in A.D. 85, but there is no question about it today. Jesus has affected our calendar, language, idioms, social mores, treatment of women, charity, hospitals, economics, science, liberty, music, art, and abolishment of chattel slavery. Why Physician-Assisted Suicide is Deadly for Society
On May 15th, California Judge Daniel Ottolia affirmed life when he overturned the 2-year-old physician-assisted suicide law which had led to the deaths of 111 Californians, noting that the legislature acted unconstitutionally. Guest host Adam McManus talks with Dr. David Stevens, president of the 19,000-member Christian Medical & Dental Association, who says, "Assisted suicide is not healthcare; it has no role in the healing arts of medicine. Depressed patients can easily fall prey to the temptation to give up on life. Those who have a financial interest in a patient's death—insurers, the government, greedy heirs—can wield lethal pressure against the elderly and infirm. When these laws pass, millions of Americans, including many teenagers, who feel vulnerable to thoughts of suicide, hear a message from the government that suicide is a good thing.” You’ll hear about the differences between physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia, the Biblical reasons why they are wrong, and the disturbing notion that 25 states introduced such lethal bills in their legislatures, the vast majority of which failed to pass – for now.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Trump, Abortion, and the Supreme Court
Guest host Adam McManus interviews Allan Parker, President of The Justice Foundation, about President Trump's "Protect Life Rule" announced last Friday which will prevent Title X programs from conducting, counseling for, or referring for abortion, denying $60-$170 million in tax money to Planned Parenthood. Parker blames GOP Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska for singlehandedly allowing the funding of $500 million to Planned Parenthood to continue. 49 Republican Senators voted to de-fund the abortion giant and the president was prepared to sign it into law. Plus, they address Trump's next pro-life Supreme Court nominee when Justice Anthony Kennedy retires, allowing for Roe v.
