The Creaking on the Stairs
Some stories of redemption present a sharper picture, especially when we come upon the stories of torture and abuse. This story is especially powerful, as God’s redemption comes to a man who faced serious abuse as a little boy between his second and thirteenth year. The book is entitled, “The Creaking on the Stairs.” Author Mez McConnell is pastor of Niddrie Community Church near Edinburgh. Nothing can address the pain, the confusion, the injustices, and the sheer evil of a world of abuse like the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the doctrines of God’s holiness, His sovereignty, His judgment, and His propitiatory sacrifice of His only begotten Son. Here is a helpful testimony, and wisdom for how to minister to the abused in your families and churches.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Responding to Crisis
A mass crisis hits a community, a state, and a nation. How can we respond as Jesus-followers? We urge our listeners to understand crisis and respond to crisis rightly. The opportunity for blessing, for victorious love, for courageous action is unmatched when it comes to crisis. We also introduce a new website on this program: RebuildBahamasForJesus.ORG. Are you involved in restoration in times of crisis? All Christians should be, because this is what Christ does.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Franklin Graham - Preach Anyway
Franklin Graham and others are getting barred from using public facilities in the UK. The persecution against real Christians is heating up pretty good — not quite where it was in 1665, however. The true Gospel has always faced push back. Wherever Paul showed up, riots and revivals tended to happen. That’s what goes when we’ve got a message that is turning the world upside down. What should Franklin Graham say? What would Jesus say to Liverpool? Pretty much what He said in Matthew 15 and Matthew 23, and John 8, and. . .
America — On the Razor’s Edge
America is a nation divided against itself. With a homosexual and a communist leading on the Democrat ticket, we begin to see the polar opposites developing. We look at the trends worldwide as well, with the UK turning more pro-abortion and anti-spanking (anti-Christian). Kevin Swanson discusses the interesting phenomenon of a massive increase in the number of professing Christians worldwide since 1900, yet, the Christian worldview bears far less impact on the institutions. It’s time to start disciple-ing families. . . and nations. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
The Super Bowl Exploiting Women
Why in the world must the Super Bowl exploit women? And what in the world does the bathing suit edition have to do with Sports Illustrated? The Super Bowl remains the biggest national cultural event of the year — 103,000,000 people watched it. We note the impossible contradiction of “feminists in bikinis.” Sex appeal and sexual domination don’t both work in the Super Bowl half time show. Professional sports in America doesn’t do Christian men much good, especially when there is real life to live and real battles to wage. But, how do Christians have fun? What is the sort of rejoicing that Christians find most rewarding? Always coram deo. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
You Who? Self-Image Self-Defined
So this is what it looks like when an ugly little philosopher named Jean Paul Sartre dominates the culture and permeates the thinking of the masses? Hardly anybody has escaped the influence of existentialism in thinking, language, lifestyle, and relationships. Isolation is everywhere. Suicides are way up. Drug use is orders of magnitude beyond what it used to be. Anorexia, body image problems, insecurity, snowflake-ism prevail. . . Never has man been so consumed with self, and never so distressed about it. However, praise be to God, the truth shall make you free! This interview may not make you feel awesome about yourself, but maybe it will make you consider God awesome, and the rest will fall into place. Author Rachel Jankovic brings heavy theological ideas down to where the rubber hits the road — daily life. Who are you and how in the world can you be content washing dishes and changing diapers all day long? New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Evangelicals Fall Down Before LGBT
Why are the Catholics so much stronger than the evangelicals, the PCA, the EPC, the Assemblies of God, Calvin College, Moody, Colorado Christian University, and the National Evangelical Association when it comes to religious liberty and shameful sexual practices? Will they fall down on all the other forms of sexual perversion too? New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Exceedingly Perilous Times — What To Do
These are the most perilous times of all, especially in the Western nations — if you are thinking in spiritual terms. These are exceedingly dangerous times with four major contributing factors working. We provide a spiritual modus operandi, strategically laid out in the later-dated Epistles. But, the real question. . . why have Christian churches abandoned the assembling together, especially when it comes to the evening service and the prayer meetings? That’s practically suicidal, now!
The 2020 Grammys
The 2020 Grammys came and went, but nobody really noticed. Kevin Swanson contrasts Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston with Billy Eillish, and it’s not just the green hair. 1 John 2:17 repeats itself again and again, especially marked over the last five years. A brief movie review on “Just Mercy” follows. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
The Coronavirus Pandemic
Superbugs. Pandemics. Nuclear threats. The world is proud and panicked at the same time. . . a sense of impregnability and precariousness in tandem. The world sits in a far more precarious situation than ever before. Contributing factors include the centralization of population and the internationalization of the world, as well as the worldwide unleashing of evil and the institutionalization of the grossest sins. But, how do Christians respond to pandemics?
The Roaring Lion -- This Spiritual Warfare is Real
Satan roams about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Does God really mean these warnings we find in Hebrews, Jude, and 2 Peter? Is this a high-stakes war we wage? What happens to a church that is not watchful and prayerful? Kevin Swanson interviews Pastor Brian Hedges, author of "Watchfulness -- Recovering a Lost Spiritual Discipline."
Wayward Science and Politics sans the Fear of God
Scientists paid Mexican women for artificially insemination, and then they killed their babies. President Trump signs a bill to put a kid in prison for 7 years for drowning a lizard. And, now scientists tell us that all those babies aborted over the last fifty years that weren’t supposed to have felt pain. . . felt pain. What is the root issue? The fundamental problem is that public school kids, private school kids, and homeschool kids are not taught science in the fear of God. The consequences are tragic.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
The Strange Birth Dearth of the 2010s
The worldwide birth dearth has accelerated in just the last ten years, and demographers are puzzled. Why the big dip, despite the non-recessionary, economic boom time? South Korea, Japan, China, Europe, and the United States are facing massive birth implosions, but America’s drop was larger than South Korea, China and Japan’s over the last ten years. But, what does the Bible say about birth control? We provide a list of critical verses that tie in.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Serving God or Men
A Christian school expelled a student because she was living a lifestyle that did not adhere to Christian beliefs and because of a promotion of homosexuality. They have received a lot of criticism for their efforts to obey God and keep His law. More and more, Christian organizations in the western world are having to decide whether they will choose to serve God or men.
Where Parental Authority Comes From
In a recent survey, Americans register the most concerning element of the family is the failure of parental discipline and teaching. The problem is found in the generally-accepted post-modern worldview, the common zeitgeist of relativism. Relativist parents make for bad, inconsistent, flip-flopping parenting. Where does authority come from, and what defines right and wrong? Basic theological commitments matter. We also discuss the relationship of Gospel and Law in parenting. Fox News and Sexual Allure
With the rash of movies recently produced on the Fox News scandals, this from the best-of Generations programs speaks to the root problems. Nobody was very surprised when Fox News Channel's previous administration folded under the weight of multiple sexual harassment scandals. The sexual objectification and soft porn that characterized the Fox News website gave us a sense of the management of the organization. We take a look at what the Bible says about sexual innuendo, sexual harassment, and the slight differences between the hypocrisy of Fox News and the hypocrisy of CNN. Comparing hypocrisies on this edition of the program, including that of the Church of Scotland.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
A former homosexual shares incredible testimony
Guest host Adam McManus chats with Becket Cook, a former homosexual, about his life story encapsulated in his book entitled “A Change of Affection: A Gay Man’s Incredible Story of Redemption.” Brett McCracken, of the Gospel Coalition, wrote, “Ten years ago, Becket Cook was a [homosexual] man in Hollywood who had achieved great success as a set designer in the fashion industry. He worked with stars and supermodels, from Natalie Portman to Claudia Schiffer, traveling the world to design photo shoots for the likes of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. He attended award shows and parties at the homes of Paris Hilton and Prince. He spent summers swimming in Drew Barrymore’s pool. A decade later, Cook has moved on from that life—and he doesn’t miss it. “What changed for Cook? He met Jesus. On a momentous day in September 2009, while drinking coffee with a friend at Intelligentsia in L.A.’s Silver Lake neighborhood. Cook started chatting with a group of young people sitting at a nearby table—physical Bibles opened in front of them. They were from a church called Reality L.A.” Listen to the incredible testimony of how God saved Becket’s soul and empowered him to walk away from homosexuality. Plus, learn about whether there is such a thing as a “homosexual Christian”, why homosexuals really march in “pride” parades, and how you can reach out to the homosexuals in your life with the love and truth of Jesus Christ. A graduate of Talbot School of Theology, Becket speaks around the country on the importance of churches and Christians addressing this inescapable cultural issue from a Biblical perspective. Our religious liberty is under attack
Guest host Adam McManus chats with Brad Dacus, President of the Pacific Justice Institute, a non-profit Christian legal defense organization, about three recent religious liberty cases. Pastor Afshin Yaghtin, who objected to a Drag Queen Story Hour which took place in a Spokane, Washington public library, was arrested for merely walking into the venue with his Bible. When the police officer saw his Bible and asked the pastor whether he agreed or disagreed with the drag queens, Pastor Yaghtin explained that he disagreed with them. At that point, he was put in the back of a police car for three HOURS, brought to the jail and booked on creating a disturbance. Secondly, Dacus will discuss the case of a teenage girl who selected the Christmas hymn “Joy to the World” to play on the piano at a charter school-sponsored Christmas recital at a nursing home. The school prohibited her from doing so, claiming that it would imply their endorsement of a Christian message. And thirdly, Dacus will cite the case of a public school telling a piano teacher, whose piano manual included “Amazing Grace” and “When the Saints Come Marching In”, that she would have to either cover up those two hymns or rip the pages out altogether. Finally, Brad Dacus expresses his support for President Trump’s January 16th announcement through the Department of Education in which he affirmed the right of students to pray. President Trump said, “Our Founders understood that no right is more fundamental to a peaceful, prosperous, and virtuous society than the right to follow one’s religious convictions.” And he expressed his delight that President Trump has appointed 187 consitutionalists in the judicial system -- including Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Like 9/11 changed America, Hurricane Dorian changed the Bahamas
Guest host Adam McManus talks with Kevin Swanson and Pastor Norris Bain of Tabernacle Baptist Church in the Bahamas about the week-long effort that the Generations team of 12 volunteers are a part of as they replace dry wall and patch the roofs of Freeport Gospel Chapel and Tabernacle Baptist. Pastor Bain said, "Like 9/11 changed the United States forever, Hurricane Dorian changed the Bahamas forever." Their church, located 15 miles inland from the Atlantic coast, was soaked by 5 feet of water, requiring that they gut everything, replace all the electrical outlets, drywall, furniture, and computers. The damage will cost $250,000. Plus, the hurricane dropped five 40-foot-long boats in their neighborhood. Thanks to the funding of 150,000 pounds of dry wall and roofing materials from Generations listeners and the volunteer labor of Kevin’s team, the Bahamian church is receiving desperately needed help. Pastor Bain said, "A thousand tongues could not say thank you enough to Generations for what they are doing here on the island of Grand Bahama. There is not enough paper for us to write ‘thank you’ to this ministry for what they have done and how they are impacting our church. It’s just unbelievable! We are forever grateful." Kevin said, "Everyone on our team would say this is one of the best experiences of our lives. If you are looking for a nation in crisis, if you’re looking for a church that needs help, this would be one of the best opportunities in a lifetime!" If you can find a roofing expert or general contractor and a dry wall expert, and want to put a team of 6-12 people together from your church or family who will work 8 hours a day for a week or so, email [email protected]. The local church will provide the transportation, housing, and meals during your stay. The cost of a plane ticket from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the Bahamas, 60 miles off shore, is $250. Come during the months of January, February and March before the temperatures become prohibitively hot. Plus, if you can’t take time to volunteer to rebuild Bahamian churches, then help us raise $100,000 by February 28th to pay for tax-free building supplies at wholesale cost on-line at www.generations.org/give. Keys to Personal Revival
Guest host Adam McManus chats with Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, the host of Revive Our Hearts heard on 700 Christian radio stations and the author of 24 books with 4 million copies in print, including Lies Women Believe and the Truth That Sets Them Free, Seeking Him, and Adorned: Living Out the Beauty of the Gospel Together. She shares the keys to personal revival. They include meditative time in the Word of God, reading Christian biographies, choosing forgiveness and gratitude, and a willingness to be a mentor to the younger and a student who listens to the wiser. If more Christians would implement those disciplines, we would see revival catch fire in our families, cities, and the nation.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
The Damaging Effects of Social Media
How do Christians handle the world of social media? How important is our privacy? Are there potentially dangerous consequences to major powers knowing everything there is to know about us? Do we have anything to hide? We need to be as wise as serpents and harmless as doves when it comes to these things, and use much discernment. Facebook has caused countless problems in the lives of families and churches, although there may be a few useful ways to utilize it. We discuss the positives and negatives of it all on this edition of the program.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Mortifying Self in a Pro-Death Age
The most recent report indicates that now 37% of Planned Parenthood's budget comes from state and federal funding, and they are getting more opportunities than ever to kill babies. It seems that many today are pragmatic, having compromised on the principle of God's creation of life in the womb, and the guilt of our sin and selfishness is everywhere. However, we come back to blood of Christ that heals and cleanses us from all sin, and encourage the taking up of our cross in joyful service to Him. Will Evangelicalism Split on Trump?
A battle is heating up. Will 2020 be a year that evangelicals split apart on the right things or the wrong things? Will evangelicalism split down the middle on Donald Trump and Immigration policy? Or will evangelicalism split right down the middle on things like the Definition of Sin, the Law of God, the Power of the Gospel to transform lives and to provide a new identity and a new orientation in Christ? Thoughtful Christians will want to be careful not to split apart the body on the gnats, on questionable issues, or on third-level applications. Here are some principles to consider as we approach the 2020 elections.
The Collapse of the United Methodists
The second largest protestant denomination in America has fairly collapsed by a rejection of the Gospel. They could not believe that the Gospel could save people from their sins. This apostasy is the most indescribably shameful, wicked, and conspicuously evil in the history of the Christian church. But why did the conservatives have to leave, if they were winning every vote in the assembly? Why are the conservatives always pushed out?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Will Australia Fear God?
The fires in Australia are another critical reminder that the fear of God is the most important lesson of all. Modern man finds the sovereign hand of God over the fires and the floods as utterly abhorrent. . .for several reasons. If there is a god, in their view He must be nice, because we’re all so nice, and all. . . If these nations do not learn something of the fear of God, what will happen to them?
Hollywood's Role in the Cultural Revolution
Here is one of the most shocking exposes on the cultural revolution, led mainly by the entertainment industry and Hollywood in particular. Eric Holmberg illustrates the incredible power of Hollywood to lead a nation to cultural degradation and ruin. Always staying a little ahead of the immorality curve, sexuality on the movie screen moved from married people sleeping in separate beds to the ultimate sexual degradation. What will the future hold for entertainment? Will this take us back to the last days of Pompeii, and Rome?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Is it Guitars or Pipe Organs in Church?
Are we supposed to be high art snobs when it comes to music? Or should we reject the high art for the more humble folk art? What are the basic principles relating to music, and that which is used in the church? Medical Kidnappings on the Rise
As more of medical care, education, and welfare is turned over to the government, increasingly bureaucracies will confiscate children and control medical decisions over the American family. Freedom disappears as people begin taking the government welfare provided by the state (whether that be schooling, Obamacare or welfare). How to avoid medical kidnapping, much like what has happened to Drake Pardo and others.
Licentious Media in the Church
Churches seem to be filling up with licentious media, pastors recommend Harry Potter movies, and love for whatever the world advocates seems constant. What does one do? Must we become the Values Police checking everybody’s internet history, reading fare, and A/V diet? Kevin Swanson recommends asking the more fundamental questions. There are usually more fundamental issues at stake, which will either draw us together in Christ or prove some to be not of us. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
US Economy - Biggest House of Cards Ever
Reuters calls the 2010s the DECADE OF DEBT. American corporations have become the paradigm of greed, dishonesty, unprecedented debt, and the quick buck. All caution was thrown out the window ten years ago. While the federal government was running trillion dollar deficits, corporate America was running up annual trillion dollar deficits too. But, they weren’t spending it on equipment and development. They were spending it on fake dividends and buying their own stock — 60% of the deficits! At the same time the S&P Price to Earnings ratio was bumping into the mid-20s. Not Good. Not Good. Not Good. But, what are the real heart problems with America? What will greed, debt, and the get-rich-quick schemes do to a country, to the largest economies in the world. . . to China. . . to Japan. . . to the whole world? The Decade in Review
It was the decade of Franklin Graham, Ken Ham, John MacArthur, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood, Mylie Cyrus, Josh Harris, Hillsong, Taylor Swift, Chick-fil-A, Lauren Daigle, Fantasy, Superheroes, Scandals, Catharsis, Nero, Greta, Obama and Trump, and John Maynard Keynes. It was an extraordinary decade in the history of mankind. And, the verse that exactly fit. . . "For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?" Can Hard Core Gamers be Saved?
Can a hardcore gamer survive a real-world crisis? How can the gamer be saved and come back into contact with the true reality of God’s world? That’s the question that Phillip Telfer grapples with in his new novel “Why Save Alexander.” This makes for an interesting discussion on Generations. 2019 Year in Review
Pride comes before destruction and haughty spirit before a fall. It was the year of Christian apostasy, surprising conversions, evangelicalism cracking and dividing, the death of manhood, despair deaths, Pride-lust Marches, the failure of the Democrat establishment, and a rising persecution against Christian schooling, Christian discipleship, and homeschooling around the world. This is our annual year in review — interesting insight upon the world from 40,000 feet in altitude.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Imposing Salvation by the State
The left is more interested in imposing salvation by the state with ineffectual crusades and do-gooder agendas. Their imposed salvations become more tyranny, more taxation, and more frustration and futility for all. They miscalculate badly concerning the nature of man and the purpose of civil government. We point to the guy who was sentenced 15 years for blaspheming the god of homosexuality, and burning an $8.00 flag. Of course, it’s taxpayers who will carry the bill of $450,000 for room and board for this guy. The taxpayers have pretty much earned it. They elect their leaders. But, the root of it all — a really bad worldview.
CT Says Remove the President
Twenty years ago, Christianity Today Magazine had claimed that President Clinton was “morally unable” to lead the nation. Now, the same magazine claims consistency in recommending the removal of President Trump on moral grounds. Are 82% of evangelicals being hypocritical with their approval of Donald Trump over Bill Clinton? Evangelicalism is splitting down the center, and this provides an interesting manifestation of the divide. We carefully analyze the grounds of Christianity Today’s argument on this edition of the program. In the scheme of things, is there all that much difference between President Trump and President Clinton? More fundamentally — is there much of a commitment to God’s law on personal and institutional levels among evangelicals? Where will true reformation come to a nation? Will it happen in Washington DC, or in the grass roots of a nation?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
The Swiss Reformation 500th
While there has been some interest in the German Reformation of 1517, there has not been much said of the Swiss Reformation, which got its start in 1519. It was the Swiss Reformation that had the most influence on France, Scotland, England, and America — more so than the German. One simple practice marked this great reformation. Could something similar happen in churches today?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Hope for America
The first indications of decentralization of power back to the states have come through the US Supreme Court. Kevin Swanson provides insight into what the end of empires have looked like throughout history, all of which provides hope for freedom and Christian influence once more. Hope in God Beats Hope in Man
It’s the richest nation in the world, but with the most broken-down families in the world. America is falling down. When man’s hopes are put in man, inevitably he will wind up over the line of despair. Life expectancy has dropped off since 2011, all attributed to what is known as "despair deaths." We point to Psalms 42, 77, and 143 as the great need for the day.
Hallmark Makes Everyone Mad
Hallmark Channel (and Chick Fil-A) have managed to make everybody mad, when pulled in to the homosexual morass. Why must they give in to the homosexual community, which makes up only 2% of the population vs. the 50% of heartland America that is watching their channel? But, then we turn to the more basic question. Shall we watch Hallmark movies at all? What’s the worldview behind the "redemption by being kind to one another" story? We also caution about romantic lust. The only kind of lust is not homosexual lust. What about the lust or discontentment that arises while binging on Hallmark Romance Movies?
Seismic Political Shifts
Seismic political shifts are happening in the two most powerful nations in the world (in earlier centuries). The UK and the US are seeing the biggest political moves of the 21st century — indicating shifts towards nationalism or just de-centrism. The media is contributing to the serious cracking up of national unity, but what is it that is bringing about the loss of national unity? What is the exact problem with the President that creates such polarization and hatred? What do people hate about President Donald Trump? And Who is breaking up the United States?
Living All of Life for Christ
What would it look like if America had a revival of reformational proportions? The English reformation shook the world, and produced a special piety — a down-to-earth, all-of-life commitment to Christ. Lives were transformed and so were entire institutions. Could this happen again? Dr. Joel Beeke shares on his expertise with this most amazing reformation of Christian life. What would it look like today? Would the Puritans watch movies, smoke big cigars, and theologize all day long? Or, would they mortify sin, cultivate godly marriages, love God, fear God, and transform institutions to glory of God?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Family Brokenness -- Where Healing Begins
The Institute for the Family discovers in a recent study that the incidence of premarital sexuality among evangelicals is almost exactly the same as that of Catholics. Is the evangelical family as the same lowest denominator as what is found among Catholics? Does the evangelical doctrine provide for any real substantial faith, or does it all sink to about the same level? Perhaps it is time to discover the Gospel — a message concerning our true brokenness, sin, and redemption. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Greta Thunberg—The Prophetess of This Age
Time Magazine’s Person of the Year—she is a phenomenon. But more than that, Greta Thunberg is the ultimate iconic picture of the death of the west. On the one hand, here is a little one who needs the Lord, a Savior, badly. Finland’s new prime minister is also the very incarnation of a lost generation. She is a 34-year-old daughter of a lesbian. But, our attention turns to the church. It is interesting that there is still a vast difference between Liberals and Conservatives, especially smaller evangelical churches, when it comes to women and children leading.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Christian College Fatal Compromise
It's a Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego moment for the Christian colleges in America associated with the CCCU. The evangelical and CCCU support of the "Fairness for All Except for Jack Phillips" bill in Congress is the most disappointing, treacherous, embarrassing, and fruitless concession to the homosexual zeitgeist ever seen in Christian history. Here is a clarion call to the Christian colleges to get out of this fatally compromised institution. Here is a call to Christian families and churches to tell the Christian colleges to get out of the CCCU, and give up on its accreditation, now.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Nothing Burger Conservatism
Some conservatism that masquerades as the opposite of liberalism is just as dangerous as liberalism. Modern media sets individual autonomy against corporate humanist autonomy, and both of them are equally bad. Milo Yiannapolois is an excellent representative of this paradigm. CPAC and Breitbart act out their horror with pedophilia while they are just fine with homosexuality. The hypocrisy drips. We look at Fox News and how these “conservatives” are AWOL when it comes to the major battles in the war of the worldview (eg. Evolution, Homosexuality, and Feminism).New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
The Inconvenient Facts
Who said Carbon Dioxide is bad for the world? Who said global warming was bad? And, what is the truth value of the statement — “global warming is human caused?” When scientists have abandoned humility and the fear of God, the conclusions drawn have little to do with real science, real data, and honest interpretation of the data. Kevin Swanson interviews Gregory Wrightstone, author of “The Inconvenient Facts — The Science that Al Gore Doesn’t Want You to Know.” New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
The Most Religious vs. Least Religious Candidate in 2020 Elections
The most religious candidate in the 2020 elections is turning out to be Mayor Pete Buttigieg — who also happens to be the homosexual candidate. Buttigieg is in top running in Iowa and New Hampshire right now, and could be the Democrat choice for president. Why are Democrats like Hillary Clinton, Pete Buttigieg, and Barack Obama so much more familiar with the Bible, and likely to quote the Bible? In fact, quotations from the Bible are much more common among these candidates than they were from presidents serving in the 1830s and 1840s. Whence all this religious talk? What is this religion that finds a few proof texts here and there in the Bible? And, why do they feel so inclined to use the Bible? New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
Ten Steps Before Drugging Your Boy
Drugging associated with The American Boy Disease (ADHD) has doubled in just 5 years, and the diagnosing of ADHD has increased 7 fold since 1997. This may be the most dramatic social development in 20 years. Kevin Swanson gives a list of ten things parents can do for boys, before resorting to drugs.
Should Christians Approve of Sin?
A substitute teacher in Utah was hurried off school property when she made the “mistake” of telling the class that homosexuality was a sin. The leader of the Southern Baptists encourages us to be “nice” and capitulate to using preferred pronouns. But, would Jesus use a preferred pronoun for one attempting to change their God-given gender? Would He give credence to a lie? Will Christians be willing to lose their jobs over this sort of thing? Or, will they fold like a cheap suit?
America’s Third Impeachment
A historic moment approaches as America’s third impeachment trial appears on the horizon. Although Nixon’s impeachment never made the house, we analyze the moral implications involved with the Clinton, Nixon, Andrew Johnson, and Trump’s impeachment investigations/trials. What does God’s law instruct us on these things? Then, Kevin Swanson asks the more fundamental question. What in the world are we doing funding Ukraine with $391 million in its war against Russia? George Washington would be horrified.
